Again I don't see why I would jump to the 10th fret on my low string rather than the 5th on my second when the next is the 4th on my low string. If Mike played it that way, I can't argue but it seems simpler my way lol
To do what? Tune the low B up to a D#? Or just play it standard tuning with the low B you mean? I always want things to be accurate and the original tuning was standard D#, so I'll play it in that tuning :) Most people don't even have 5 or 6 string basses so it would be unfair to publish 5 string tabs for a song that doesn't require the low B anyway. Hope that helps!
@@LeoBassCovers2 Well, that makes sense. I started playing it now and it is indeed a bit tiring to be holding that 4th fret on the B string all the time, and it makes it harder to reach for the power chord in time, but still pretty playable. I see how posting tabs for a 5 string would not help many people, thank you for explaining :)
Hey Leo, I have a humble request. I can't afford Patreon right now, but will join to request this as soon as I'm able to. Simplicity is Beautiful, by Juliana Hatfield. There are zero bass tabs out there for this song. I feel so dumb because it should be so easy (C major) for me to figure out, but I'm having some sort of mental block over what she's doing for the verses. Whatever I'm trying doesn't sound right. It's driving me crazy, HELP!
INTO TO THE FLOOD AGAIN
SAME OL TRIP IT WAS BAAAACK THEEEHEHEEN
SO I MADE BIG MISTAKE
TRY TO SEE IT ONCE MY WAY
AM I WROEHOHURRURNNG??
HAVE I RUN TOO FAR TO GET HOME???
Definitely one of my favorite AiC songs. The bass is so prominent in much of their catalog, meaning they have so many cool basslines!
That Warwick growls!
Love Alice so much, need as many tabs as possible. Thanks man keep up the good work
I'm on it!
Çok teşekkürler Leo, ellerine sağlık.
This is the only tutorial that shows the correct tuning!

I would 🥵
I'm curious, why not use the B string instead of tuning down?

No problem! And yeah, holding that 4th fret the entire time is quite awkward indeed..
Do you need a pic for this song?
A pic would make it easier, but it is doable with fingers. Only the chords can be tricky
@@LeoBassCovers2 ty for the response! I’m going to have to try it!
Good luck!

Hey! I can't do a lot if you're saying that you will request it on Patreon at some point. But uh, once that day comes, I can definitely help you :)
Thank you, I'll be there. @@LeoBassCovers2
