    Kudo's ! In just a few minutes an excellent and accurate recollection of an airline that played an important role in the Belgian airline scenery and about which you find very little information on the net.

    That was a very good one. I knew of TEA Belgium and how EasyJet Swiss originated from TEA Switzerland but had no idea of all the others. Talk about having your fingers in several pies!

      Thanks Matthew, I did have a basic understanding of TEA but wasn't aware of the connection between them and CityBird, I had started researching the latter and realised I needed to do TEA first and I am quite happy with how it turned out even after 3 months of development hell :)

    Remember flying with TEA from East Midlands to either Paphos of Larnaca in June 91. They were ok from what I remember, think I've still got a branded wet wipe from the flight.

    • @ExpoAviation
      @ExpoAviation  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, yes I will be doing Air Jamaica in the near future, I have a half complete script on BWIA so it is only fair to cover the other "partner" of Caribbean Airlines :)

    I've read up on this airline back in school I thought it was related to a traditional British drink a Cup of Tea 🍵 😂 but I didn't think it would ment Trans European Airways (TEA).
    A other good upload Expo

      Haha I did manage to avoid a cup of tea joke, remarkable considering how many cups of tea I had whilst making this episode ;)

    My father, and bloody stepmother, flew for Saturn and later Trans International/Transamerica. These should have a story on your page(s).

    • @ExpoAviation
      @ExpoAviation  ปีที่แล้ว

      Transamerica is on my "to-do" list, I'll take a closer look at Saturn and see what I can dig up :)

      @@ExpoAviation Call or write me. I have intel and still talk to Saturn/TIA people. Dad passed shortly after the airline shut down in 1986.

    Do a story on Joon Airlines.

  • @NorthPoleBall

    TEA airlines should be British or Turkish not Belgian...

    • @ExpoAviation
      @ExpoAviation  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As a Brit I wholeheartedly agree :)

    • @francoisdekerchove1848
      @francoisdekerchove1848 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Whatever. TEA used to be Belgian at the origin and spread its wings in many different European countries. It had been found by a great entrepreneur from Belgium and a couragous man. The rest unfortunately is history.

      @@francoisdekerchove1848its just a joke about the name "Tea"...
