@a70770 I was being generous. The most accurate count, by the Smithsonian, is 800,000 to 1,800,000 north of the Rio Grande. It was an empty continent, except along rivers and coasts, where the villages existed. No cities existed.

@a70770I agree with your explanation but this topic brings into question what “developed” means. “Developed” cultures are associated with enlightenment which I disagree with. It’s documented that many white people in America who were adopted into native tribes often refused to go back to white society as if native culture although perceived as “savage”; fulfills the heart of man much more than capitalistic European culture.

Have you not studied this? The Native american fought for the land many times.
Natives didn't even believe in personal ownership of land, just as you don't believe in personal ownership over sunlight or air.
Natives still struggled not against land stealing but against their forced displacement (which, yes, does constitute genocide) into less arable lands.
Furthermore, the Natives were a key player in the struggle against American colonialism, as seen in their participation in the war of 1812, of which 10,000 natives died while opposing American actions.
Let's not frame this as "the victors taking the spoils." The American genocide was the colonisers taking what they wanted from a society that didn't have the means to stop it as a result of having no access to global trade or the spread of ideas.
This was a genocide. The colonisers decreased the native population by over 90%, committed mass murder, mass rape, and trophy hunting for native skulls (this was also enacted against children). Let's also not forget the reeducation, false sterilisation, treaty breaking, slavery and the use of biological weapons in the form of "smallpox blankets"
      Still feel any national pride?

If your land is built on the remnants of the largest genocide known to man, it's not nice.

I don't agree with any male dominant societies. They're all full of abuse and violence.

@@acegikm There weren't many female dominated societies for a reason. Even when few women came to power they did do abuse and violence. Our current leader Sheikh Hassina and Queen Victoria under whose rule India was colonised would be a good example.

These same European descendants who had no problem putting cross burnings at your yard have Indian ancestry that goes back to colonialism, and they're not related to you

Just because your skin darkens from being in the sun does not mean you are black.

We arent black, we are red. Black people are only of Africa, south of the Sahara. & today, we are not white or black except for the mixed/mestizo/metís. Where do you get these silly ideas?

Ya sé que estas confundida por ser afrodescendiente pero por favor no trates de apropiarse de nuestra cultura nativa y en cambio siéntete orgullo de ser africana descendiente.
