Plus wasn't Jafar killed in the second movie and went to the underworld, and Lady Tremaine and Drizella were turned into frogs at the end of the third movie.
It's also reality that most human traffickers still haven't been caught to this day. It's just the world we live in, might as well drown out sorrows in the suck.
I’m quite surprised the Coachman got no comeuppance as the Hayes code was still in effect at the time, and said that villains must get negative repercussion for their actions, and the Coachman did some of the most disgusting things any villain did in any animated film.
Thanks. I was trying to remember if the Hayes Code was in effect by the time of the movie or not. Maybe because animation wasn't watched as carefully? Or they could argue they were working on the story before the rule? Or maybe because the Hayes Code just made sure the Protags always get a happy ending, then it makes up for the danger faced?
The Hayes code was the most naive project at best, telling people that God and karma will take care of baddies for them, and discourage passive, life saving exposure of villains today. Also, I think the Hayes code was homophobic. Blech.
@@pineforest1442 not saying the system was good at all, just pointing out the inconsistency. And another one comes with Cinderella, where her nude silhouette is seen, which violates their rules.
I would actually exclude Edgar from the "non-lethal" list, since you can see that there were no air holes in the trunk. Given the travel time to Timbuktu back in the time frame (early 1900's), the hapless butler almost certainly perished from asphyxiation.
Or at least dehydration since I'm sure it would have taken more than 3 days to get there from England, but maybe if he yelled someone would have let him out?
@@SarahJohnson-cw6lf If he had, he wouldn't have "mysteriously disappeared", he'd have been found and sent back to his employer, probably the same day. And yes, dehydration would have killed him in a few days, especially given how hot that steamer trunk probably was.
@@Compucles Good point. Just as it didn't occur to him that if the cats had disappeared while their mistress was still alive, she probably would have eventually replaced them. Better to eliminate them after her death, assuming she didn't just mess things up by outliving them all.
Well, the movie is vague about it, but they say he left, not that he disappeared… So it’s very possible the mail service people found him, but he still decided to leave, out of shame or fear.
The Coachman was a fairly realistic situation. Cruela was also slandered/shamed by Roger's popular song. Which pretty much caused her a great deal of public damage. Not sure how easy that is for a business person. Han's likely would have been executed for attempting to steal a throne. Which would have started a war an other problems.
Roger's song wasn't technically slander, though, since it was actually true. The only issue is that Roger didn't conclusively know that when he wrote the song.
Hans’s plan was stupid anyway. It wouldn’t have worked even if Elsa and Ana had died. He was from a whole different country and had not been in a serious relationship with either of the sisters. Someone from Arendelle would have likely been chosen to be the new ruler.
It should be noted that Professor Callahan didn't know that his daughter was trapped in an alternate dimension... he thought she was dead, and using the portal was an attempt at murder (namely a poetic one). He was surprised when Hiro and Baymax found out that his daughter was likely still alive. And now that he dose know for a fact that she is in good health, his chance at redemption is pretty high.
Yeah, maybe there'll be a bigger bad in a future movie, and Yokai/Callahan and Hiro can join forces to stop it and rescue Callahan's daughter. I'd love to see what could become of it, assuming the same director and producer are kept for the sequel.
Unlike many others, he showed remorse for their actions, after the events rather than attempting escape and taking another evil recourse, he remains in his cell, regretting his actions.
@@WickedBinge actually you forgot one Villain Shere Khan from Jungle Book, in the Jungle Book 2 Shere Khan falls in a Deep Pit of Lava and after that a Giant Head of a Statue traps him inside not only that there is also that one Vulture that will annoy him and with no way out probably making him wish for death. ORIGINAL SCENE :th-cam.com/video/uVr51UpCbQI/w-d-xo.html
1.) I remember reading somewhere that the original Pinocchio has a deleted scene where the coachman is arrested and the kids are freed. And my personal headcanon is that Pinocchio alerted the authorities after he became a real boy. 2.) Lady Tramaine and Drizella were actually forced to become servants at the castle in the third Cinderella movie (Anastasia redeemed herself) after the two used Fairy Godmother's wand to cause trouble.
I'm not entirely sure what all the "other punishment" entailed of that Hans got, but in that one short "Frozen Fever" it shows Elsa sneezing a giant snowball when trying to blow the birthday bugle. Said snowball is launched into the Southern Isles where we see Hans having to shovel all of the manure out of the horse stalls. Then the giant snowball comes hurdling towards him and pushes him face first into the manure pile.
Let's not forget Captain Hook. Though justified in getting revenge against Peter Pan for losing his hand, him being chased by the crocodile at the end of the battle is probably somewhere in the middle of non-lethal fates, since in the sequel, he rid himself of the crocodile.
And Shere Khan, who would probably be somewhere in the final section. The reason for it is mainly because he has a flaming branch tied in his tail, which if it tightened enough, would’ve been difficult to remove and he does run away after seeing it. He does reappear in the second film (2003) where he is even more intimidating towards Mowgli. Medusa from the rescuers would also be in the same section (last one), mainly because it’s not shown if her alligators were able to climb up or knock down the pole she was holding onto to keep them from her. If they did, it was probably shown offscreen.
@@Paramount-px3to he got a worse fate in the second film getting trapped under a statue head on the edge of what seems to be a volcano he is better off dead because got forbid the volcano blows and as for medusa well I'm curious too because those crocs were her pets so idk
Realistically, all Hades would have to do id collect his thoughts ans he could easily escape Styx. He's be back on his throne in the underworld in less than a week. That was a minor inconvenience. The worst part for him is now Zeus and the rest of Olympus will no longer treat him kindly.
That is one of the issues I have with Hades' fate, the other being that Hercules shouldn't have been able to get out of the river anyway, because the deal did say that Hercules had to give his life for Meg's, and gods clearly have to abide by the deals, since Hades has to.
@@ravnemagne9598 Yes, but Hades knew that Hercules, as a mortal, would not survive to retrieve her soul, so the deal was rigged from the start. Don't forget that there was a tv series after the movie, and it shows that Hades got out easily.
What's ironic is that Hades in actual mythology is a kind and generous god who helps out those who seek him. And let's face it, if you're stuck condemning souls to the three kings, you'd have a lot of pity for those souls
I think there was an official media, which I currently don't remember, that actually confirms Hades managed to get out of the Styx but maybe I'm misremembering.
I'll say this. Hans getting more genuine consequences for his actions in retellings was nice to see. On the season of Once Upon a Time that served as a much better sequel to Frozen, Hans returned with an army only to be bested once more, and in Kingdom Hearts 3 his evil actions cause him to be transformed into a Heartless and subsequently killed by Sora. On that note, becoming a Heartless is in and of itself a fate worse than death, having the evil and malice in your heart transform you into a mindless monster whose only thought is to turn every living thing around it into more Heartless.
accept much like the movie its self it looks like the idea was that else in full dispair mode was the intended host of the heartless boss matpat did a theory all about it
Actually, in A Twist In Time, Cinderella's stepmother and Drizella do get what they deserve. In a post-credits scene, they both are forced to work in the castle as the lowly servants they had looked down upon for so long.
@@afsmapping6092 Perhaps, but considering they had never had to do it themselves before, I guess the point of it was they were humiliated that they had gone from upper class to a lower class. It's a pretty steep fall for someone who is used to being upper class.
I know she's a sequel villain but Ursula's sister Morgana(?) had an equally worse fate similar to Jafar and Hades. Frozen in a block of ice, while still alive, and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Due Neptune's magic she could still be alive and just.... There.
Hans actually got off decently in my opinion. In a special, we find out Hans is just scooping up donkey/horse/cow/reindeer (I forgot) droppings in a deserted island.
It wasn't a deserted island, he was in his homeland, the southern isles. Let's just say his big bros and most importantly, his father, gave him that punishment and enforce it.
Hans was a last minute villain to replace Elsa as the actual threat because Disney didn't want to make a complex princess character that little girls would challenge themselves with. Anything done to Hans is a miscarriage of justice after what they made him do.
Actually, I disagree with Sir Ector. I admit that he's not the best father you can have out there (especially shown through him calling Arthur "Wart), but let's think about it. His "Four hours of extra kitchen duty" wasn't out of malevolence; Arthur HAD gone running off into the woods which was described as, "Swarming with wolves." Remember, Sir Ector WAS upset about Arthur running off like that, so we know he cared. Put yourself in his shoes, your son (foster or not) goes running off into a dangerous location that he should know better than to do, and he comes back with a "I'm sorry Sir." No, I really don't think that "I'm sorry" IS enough! Arthur needs to learn that there are consequences to his actions. It's a disciplinary action. Later, when he gets more demerits, he WAS late to whatever it was he was doing and then he comes in with a story that, be honest, you'd NEVER believe! Again, a disciplinary action, Arthur was late and to Sir Ector's knowledge, he lied to him about why. Then we get his reaction to the kitchen cleaning. Merlin's "You call washing dishes and sweeping floors a work of evil?" misses the point. It wasn't WHAT the dishes, mop, and broom were doing, it's that they had been enchanted. Again, put yourself in his shoes, you come into your kitchen and you see flying dishes and cleaning equipment moving on its own when it clearly shouldn't be. Your initial reaction probably WOULD be panic and now that you see that Merlin is legitimate powerful, your imagination starts to run wild with fear. So in comes Arthur, who had popped off when he was given a task to complete, starts running off his mouth and isn't getting your cues to just shut up. OF COURSE he's going to get punished! I daresay we've ALL been there, some probably on both sides now! While Sir Ector's demeanor when he announces a new squire for Kay was jerkish, Arthur really and truly did bring it upon himself. Don't forget, Sir Ector made Arthur his first choice for Kay's squire, thereby giving him a chance to eventually become a knight, and that DOES require a little something called, DISCIPLINE! So, while I wouldn't want Sir Ector as a father, I have to say, he wasn't a villain, but the disciplinary adult.
Why did I have to scroll so far to find this. I honestly agree with you. He was looking out for Arthur to what you could say is the best of his abilities trying to raise him to be a good and strong man like he had done with Kay. Kay’s behavior can be chalked up to touchy older brother syndrome. I know plenty of older brother like that. Also Kay probably had to do the same thing as Arthur and simply “Did his time”
Actually Lady T gets punished in the 3rd movie (which is actually pretty good) where after Prince Charming reflects a spell back to her, she and Drizella get turned into frogs and then after credits they’re seen with maid-wear and broom sticks. Idk I just thought that was funny and fitting
Whenever anyone questions how it is that I can talk shit about what is allegedly Disney's greatest movie of all time, I only need mention two things: "Pleasure Island" and "The Coachman". Pleasure Island because Disney completely overhauled the original symbolism from "a lack of an education dooms you to a fate of manual labor, and people will try to take advantage of that" to "don't be a jackass". And The Coachman because that is where Disney DOES remain faithful to the original. They cut out the symbolism but left the villain getting away with it. AKA the EXACT OPPOSITE of what they should have done for a Disney movie.
I don't disagree with your line of thinking, and in most cases I would agree that the villain should never get away with the evil they do, but in Pinnoccio it weirdly made sense for it to turn out the way it did because the coachman was meant to teach him a lesson. It was a very close call, but it got the message across. But that's not to say the Coachman could NEVER be punished, because one of his victims got away and could tell people what happened. Gepetto could go to authorities and tell them that somebody was breaking the law and taking the boys to Pleasure Island. It may take some work, but they can and could catch him and make him pay.
@@FirstnameLastname-bp2pg I'm not sure if it's necessarily Disney's best movie, but it is an amazing movie from the era it came from. And weirdly enough it was one of Walt's passion projects that wasn't as popular in the beginning. I'm guessing it was because there were so many dark scenes, but you do have to admit that Pinnoccio is a very good movie.
Another thing they changed is that Pinocchio in the original fully turns into a donkey & gets sold to a circus. He eventually becomes weak from the abuse & is sold by the circus to a drummer boy, who drowns Donkey Pinocchio, & the blue fairy ressurects him to his old self via becoming piranhas. Messed up stuff.
The Straight-To-DVD Sequels, as Infamous as a lot of them may be, gave a handful of Villains their punishments. Cruella De Vil was arrested and later Sent to an Asylum in Patch's London Adventure. Lady Tremaine along with Drizella were turned into Toads in Cinderella 3, and in the post credit scene, turned back into Humans wearing Servant Rags. Yzma was turned into a Rabbit and taken away by a Conder in Kronk's New Groove, possibly eaten. And let's not forgot Genie Jafar Disintegrated along with his lamp when it was thrown in Lava in Aladdin 2.
Fun facts: Lady Tremaine and her daughters stole the wand changed history but Anastasia turned on them and they got punished as frogs and maids. Cruella and her men returned in 101 Dalmatians 2 kidnap puppies again foiled by patch and thunderbolt and they got arrested. Yzma came back w tail tricked krone and turned into a bunny instead. That's the update on them.

"When a character in your own movie makes a song about how terrible you are..." "Prince John?" "Yep, Cruella de Vil?" "Oh... I definitely called that."
In the sequel, which is supposedly Canon, she reverts back to herself with a cat tail. Later, she uses a potion to turn into a rabbit and gets swiped by a bird of prey to her nest as food for her chicks. Just wanted to get that out of the way.
I was gonna comment about something similar lol. One can presume she got killed that way but oddly, all sources I've seen depicted her status as currently "alive" or "active". Most odd thing is that I can't seem to find a source confirming this. Considering the comical nature of the series, it's entirely possible she escaped alive, albeit battered/bruised, but yet again, no source to confirm
Its never really confirmed what the timeline relation between KNG and ENS is. The thing is, no events from KNG has been mentioned in the TV series, heck, Kronk's partner was never even mentioned. Though no events from ENS were mentioned in KNG either. Based on this, I personally like to think they take place in separate universes; basically separate canons. Yzma is alive in the ENS universe. But she POSSIBLY died in the KNG universe. That said though, she has survived some pretty ridiculous stuff, especially for her age. Her surviving the demon hatchlings isn't exactly off the table.
1:09 Descendants: Isle of the Lost Rush, it was revealed that Coachman got imprisoned in Isle of Lost. and was forced to turn the donkeys back into boys
I would argue Yzma should have been in the Got Off Easy section. Being stuck in a body that isn't yours would suck, but there are infinite ways it could be worse than being a cute cat. In fact being a cat comes with a ton of perks. Since she was turned into a baby cat she probably has a longer life span ahead of her than she would have had in her human form. They didn't make her go to jail or anything just got watched by her old henchman, that's kinda super light considering her crime was attempted murder of her own sovereign just for firing her. Dick move, but still totally within his right... XD;;
This was great! I hope you do more videos like these. Especially for Pixar, Dreamworks, and Sony Animation. Since most of their baddies don't get killed off but still get some sort of comopence.
I know he's not on the list, but Shere Khan also had a fate worse than death in The Jungle Book 2. Basically, he lands on a stone slab in a lava pit, then a tiger statue falls on top of him, trapping him down there. Although they don't show him die, it's pretty clear he will die since he's trapped next to a lake of lava, not to mention the never-ending heat around him. Pretty brutal if you think about it.
I think Disney can sometimes make creatively named characters. Cruella De Vil’s name is Cruel Lad Evil with spacing errors while Evelyn Deavor is Evil Endeavor.
Hopefully in the live-action Pinocchio, the coachman gets what’s coming to him. Maybe he gets eaten by Monstro after Pinocchio and Gepeto escape. Hades end doesn’t make sense. He is the god of death, he should be able to escape the River of Styx, let alone be able to cross it without needing Charon to fairy him. I don’t know if they will make a live action Hercules, but here are a few changes I would want to see. 1. Hades want to take over Mount Olympus because it’s his birthright and Zeus tricked him out of Olympus and fabricated the story that he(Zeus) took out all the titans. 2. Phil wants to train the greatest hero just like how his master trained Perseus, who got his own constellation in the night sky. 3. Hercules’s first monster is the Nimean Lion 4. Hades does end up in the River of Styx after getting punched, but it’s more like he is taking a swim.
@@darthrage8673 Honestly, the entire Hercules movie was a mess. They had to change so much stuff to fit the story into their preferred frame of presentation. Hercules was one of Zeus' many bastard sons, it wasn't Hades but Hera who wanted to kill him. The twelve labours? Hercules punishment after murdering his wife (Meagra... yeah, he killed her) and his sons in a fit of rage. Hades interacted with Heracles once, when he came into the Underworld to fetch Cerberus as the 12th labour. (He permitted it, as long as Hercules did not use any weapons to subdue his dog). Oh and Tanathos is the god of death and Hades is the Ruler of the afterlife as well as the god of wealth. There was an entire system the properly place the shades of the dead but just like anything else, they fucked that over hard.
In the 101 Dalmatians sequel, Cruella is put on probation and prevented from buying more fur. And in 101 Dalmatian Street, she left the country for decades, and when she returned for another attempt at the coat, and is arrested. And in Frozen Fever, we see Hans’s punishment back home: shoveling out the horse stables.
You forgot Dr. Facilier, In the movie The Princess and The Frog (2005), when he gets dragged to the underworld, he is dragged to hell to be tortured forever. His song "Are you ready" even plays before going to hell (The Other Side portrayed in the film), knowing damn well what is gonna happen to him. He is alive, being tortured in hell, wishing for death.
You know... there's one villain that I am surprised wasn't in this list... Dr. Facilier, the witchdoctor from Princess and the Frog. Sure, he gets dragged into his grave, and it's implied he was killed... but I'd wager he wasn't. Instead, he'd probably be suffering a similar fate to Hades, though on a smaller scale, since he is mortal... though I imagine the spirits wouldn't let him die, but also because... well... the Styx is incredibly painful, so Hades is still in a far worse situation. Reasoning for my theory, by the way, is because of the nature of voodoo and it's applications for torture. It doesn't usually kill, but make others suffer.
@@MinuHex Regarding Hades: I doubt, that the souls of the dead would be able to hold him in Styx for long, given he is a god, in some way their ruler and...well, Hercules escaped it in the movie, even without being a "full" god. Also, the most similiar thing to a pain-causing river in Greek mythology is the Acheron, not Styx. The latter is associated with hate, although it didn't seem to be a reason for mommy Thetis to *not* dip her little boy Achilles into it.
Dschafar was just plain stupid. He could have told Aladdin: Hey let me show you how to get a lamp that grants you three wishes. Aladdin: Sure but what's in it for you? Dschfar: Only you can get the lamp and only I know it's location. So let's make a deal: Once your wishes are fullfilled just pass me the lamp so that I can get my wishes. You can't wish for more wishes so it's useless for you after you are done. Aladdin: Sounds great let's do this!
I don’t know if this is re-upload but I feel like namaari and her mother (heck, the ENTIRETY of fang actually) shoul’ve been in the “got off too easily/Scott free”category, they not only ruined raya’s life when she was just a child (by causing the petrification of her father and her entire country) but also provoked the end of the world, betrayed all the other 4 countries in a celebration that should’ve brought them together, and even when they had the chance to fix everything by giving the gem piece they still selfishly wanted all the pieces for themselves (namaari also killed Sisu but that was mostly an accident, plus I hate sisu) and by the end neither of them faced punishment, Namaari got off Scott free because of Sisu’s percistance of “trusting” her and her mother seemingly not faced anything as well, at least as far as the movie shows (she did saw her castle and kingdom ruined because of the Droon attack but that’s what almost all countries suffered)
There was also the fox from the original 'Chicken Little', who was successful in his goal of tricking, trapping, and eating an entire farm of chickens, and Prince John from 'Robin Hood', who lost everything and ended up in jail. Also Jafar escaped the cave and was killed in the sequel, and Yzma returned to normal in the sequel.
I definitely think having her entire personality rewritten by alien tech would count as worse than death but I'm not sure how aware she is of who she used to be.
In Cinderella 3, Lady Tremaine and Drizella end up getting turned into frogs, and then later end up as maids. In 101 Dalmatians 2, Cruella goes insane and gets thrown into an asylum, possibly leading to the live-action 102 Dalmatians, where she loses her entire fortune and gets arrested. In Kronk's New Groove, Yzma becomes human again, but then gets turned into a bunny, and in the TV sequel, The Emperor's New School, she ends up being forced to be Kronk's secretary. With Edgar being sent to Timbuktu, it's possible he died of thirst during the trip. Hans punishment in Frozen Fever is shown to be having to work in the royal stables, shoveling manure. Jafar actually dies in Return Of Jafar, and in an episode crossover of Hercules/Aladdin, he gets dragged into the River Styx. Seeing as Hades is trapped in the River Styx, his fate is basically the same as all the damned souls who end up in it.
i think churnabag is one of the strongest characters is most cartoons out there (not only disney but all cartoons) might be a few that is close or same lvl maybe a little stronger but its not a lot. i dont think someone like superman would defeat him considering one of his weaknesses is magic and it looks like that is something churnabag uses. tbf we dont realy know exactly how strong he is but he looks realy powerfull
Well if we take the short film as literal than churnabag has a pretty big weakness. Either daylight/Holy light or whatever vague force literally made him retreat.
@@revolvingworld2676 Daylight makes him close up his wings and sleep but at nightfall he awakes again. It is a never ending cycle. Chernabog is literally the Disney version of Satan. Taking other media into account, some of these villains' fates have changed. In Return of Jafar, Jafar perishes when Iago kicks his lamp into lava, destroying it before he can be wished free. Yzma gets into the Got Off Easy tier because in both Kronk's New Groove and the Emperor's New School, she's regained her human body. Those two are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
The horrible stepmother in Cinderella ironically gets her just deserts in the original Grim Brothers story: an angry bird sent by Cinderella's mum (the fairy godmother, but an angel in this case) damages her eyes by pecking them, the same applies to the Wicked Stepsisters (not actually ugly in the original book).
You forgot Shere Khan from The Jungle Book. He had a flaming branch tied to his tail & he runs off into the jungle in a mad panic. You can only imagine what occured afterwards as he has a major fire phobia. Plus you also neglected to mention Honest John & his accomplice, a.k.a. the fox & cat from Pinocchio. If you read the original book you'll learn that the fox had gone lame & was also forced to cut off his own tail & sell it & the cat loses her (the book portrayed the cat as female) eyesight & both were reduced to begging on the street. When Pinocchio meets them he refuses to help them on account of his remembering their deceit & not willing to run the risk of being cheated again. Also, you neglected to mention Captain Hook from Peter Pan & Madam Medusa from the Rescuers.

In defense to professor yokai, if he hadn't had done what he did his daughter would still have been trapped, so he would have opted to do it all over if it came to it.
How about the same kind of list, but for Pixar villains? I can think of some Pixar villains who weren't killed at the end, such as Sid, who was just scared by the toys, Lotso, who was put on the front of a truck, Randall, who was thrown into a caravan and beaten with a shovel (though it's ambiguous if it was to death, though it's unlikely) and Mr. Waternoose, who was arrested by the CDA.
In the Sega Genesis game, Pinocchio kicks the coachman off a cliff. Also, Cruella's car doesn't just crash, it gets smashed to pieces. Plus, she and her minions also wound up wrecking a telephone pole, which they're likely to get arrested for. Plus, since they never got paid, Horace and Jasper are likely to testify against her in court.
You left out some villains: Captain Hook Queen of Hearts Shere Khan Prince John Madame Medusa Ratcliffe Gantu John Silver Alameda Slim Bowler Hat Guy Bellwether
Professor Callaghan is technically remorseful for his actions when he’s arrested and realizes his plans were all for nothing. In the sequel TV series, he’s still feeling bad for his unforgivable mistake.

depending on how importent the trade is the duke is in potentialy big trouble, also if he is the subject of some king or something like that he might be in a even bigger trouble. oh and the other guy from that movie is defenitly in some big trouble for the crap he tryed to do unless he is a royal prince or something like that he would most likely not have nearly the same level of protection that the duke have, and monarcs dont like it when their subjects makes a political incident like that. its frowned on to the degree that your family lose a large part ir not all their land and fortune and might be exiled to some area far away in the kingdom or teritory controlled and to the degree to the main person doing the deed that its a large chance to get hanged or a lot of other nasty ways to die. hanging and beheading is some of the cleanest ways unless other punishments are done first. if done in the correct way getting hanged will break your neck, but you might also have your head riped of your body or slowely choke to death all depending on the length of the rope. having your head choped of if done correctly is quick but some executioners did not do it well. there is acctualy a book wirthen by a executioner i think from what is now germany.
You guys didn't bring sequels into consideration: Yzma regained her human form in the sequel, so in my opinion she got off easy. Jafar died at the end of The Return of Jafar when his lamp was destroyed (Iago kicked it into lava). So yes, he suffered a lethal fate.
Jafar died in the second aladin movie. He was actually found fairly quickly, but at the end of the second movie, he died when his lamp was thrown into lava. Or am I remembering incorrectly?
No, you're right. It looks like the poster of the video is only looking at the first movie of a particular story despite the fact the villains do get more of a comeuppance in the sequels.
Interesting list. Here are some of my thoughts with info from sequels and other knowledge. ~Lady Tremaine was turned into a frog and scullery maid at the end of Cinderella 3, but she doesn't face harsher consequences in the second film or the third one for her actions. It's even stated in a book called Cinderella's Diary or something that they were still invited to the wedding in the original film but were sat next to the kitchens so Cinderella wouldn't necessarily have to see or speak to them. In short, they really got of lucky. (Anastasia has a redemption arc in the 2nd and 3rd movie) ~Yzma was turned into a cat at the end of the first film but she became mostly human again in Kronk's New Groove. The end of that film has her transform into a rabbit and be potentially "eaten" by hawk babies. And anybody in this comments section bringing up the television series; I'm pretty sure that takes place between the first and second film chronologically. All in all; Yzma has a pretty bad fate in the end (if you believe she was eaten; if not, then I'm not sure where she would fall tbh) ~Edgar did most likely die in that trunk if we're being honest, ngl ~Jafar does die in the 2nd film. He teams up with Hades on the show Hercules, where they try to take down Aladdin, then Hercules. Not inaccurate placement for just the first film though.
The duke of WEASELTOWN is one of those people I hate, because he has "monster" on his mind, and then he yelled it at Elsa, which seems intentional Elsa's not a monster,YOU ARE Also, you can see the Duke gets pissed when Hans fed the people of Arendelle with their own resources. With this in mind plus the fact that he was in for their resources,it means Weaseltown is a kingdom VERY low on resources The people of Wease- Weselton will most likely suffer from hunger or bankruptcy thanks to their Duke
So, fun fact, apparently there's a direct to DVD sequel of Hercules where Hades actually managed to get out of the river Styx (and just gave up on conquering Olympus).
In BH6 the series, Hiro starts visiting Callaghan. He doesn't forgive him (Callaghan is guilty of homicide for his actions leading to Tadashi's death), but he starts down that path, and the two are at least on speaking terms.
Frozen: From a certain point of view, Hans and the Duke can be seen as the ones more concerned about the people. First off, Elsa, whether intentionally or not, did freeze up the entire region within her kingdom, and ran away, with no interest of returning, or taking responsibility, to the point that she was willing to kill her own soldiers and citizens. (Which, Hans of everyone saved from Elsa.) In the meantime, Anna, handed the keys to the kingdom to Hans to run things, while she ditched, yes to chase down her sister, but she had very little interest in actually doing her job, as Hans got to Elsa before Anna. One can argue that she abandoned her duties as a princess. Hans and the Duke actually ran things in the frozen city rather responsibly, and considered the well-being of the citizenry, going so far that Hans himself was delivering the blankets to all the people, even forgoing his own well-being. I'd actually be concerned that no one in the kingdom chose Hans, since he was the one who ran everything and took care of things. Elsa and Anna flouted their responsibilities to run away, and rather live like spoiled girls. In fact, Elsa and Anna's parents are the evil ones in the movie. Instead of trying to solve the problem, they taught their daughters to run away from issues. Not to mention, they didn't educate their daughters. It's bad enough, that Pocahontas is probably better educated and more literate than the two of them... And Pocahontas was not exposed to reading and writing, until after she met John Smith.
One slight caveat to Cruella, in the live action remake (not the Cruella movie, but the 101 Dalmatians adaptation) she does get slightly more repercussions where she's arrested. But prior to that, she's severely humiliated by being crushed non-fatally by a pig, flung across a barn, and dipped in molasses. A skunk also invades the police cruiser when she's taken away. That has to really suck for her and I'm guessing she went as crazy as she did in Patch's London Adventure. So where would I place that version's fate? Probably just before Foxy Loxy.
Some enemies (Aunt Sarah in "Lady and the Tramp", the knights in "Sword in the Stone", and the human brother in "Brother Bear") fit a fourth category: "turned into friends". Also, they forgot about the gossiping elephants in "Dumbo", who also get off easy. They just get shelled with peanuts.

I really wish we ould see the novel's original ending for 101 Dalmations in movie form. It's so much more poetic. Even though the cops can't find evidence linking her to the disappearances of the dogs (and most of her dogs were purchased legally anyway), Cruella's perfect Persian cat lets the dogs into Cruella's personal collection of furs, where they systematically rip everything to shreds. This traumatizes her so much that her shock of black hair goes white overnight ... and apparently the white section turned green. And then her cat moved in with the Darlings and their hundred dogs.

It really scary that the most vile and horrifyingly realistic villian (the coach man) have absolutely NOTHING happen to him.
It's also reality that most human traffickers still haven't been caught to this day. It's just the world we live in, might as well drown out sorrows in the suck.
And that matches exactly the original story
It's even more horrifyingly realistic that way
I think it's kind of the point of the original tale. It's saying it isn't the world's job to be fair, it's your job to spot bad people.

@@firemiracle Who knows? I mean, he IS going to be played by the same guy who played remake Gaston, and we all know what happened to HIM
I’m quite surprised the Coachman got no comeuppance as the Hayes code was still in effect at the time, and said that villains must get negative repercussion for their actions, and the Coachman did some of the most disgusting things any villain did in any animated film.
he paid good dollars to ge off free
If anything there's at least a Disney Videogame adaptation of Pinocchio where he gets his comeuppance but it's from the early 90s or so.
The Hayes code was the most naive project at best, telling people that God and karma will take care of baddies for them, and discourage passive, life saving exposure of villains today. Also, I think the Hayes code was homophobic. Blech.

This is another example of Edgar's shortsightedness, as he thought the cats would be able to survive the exact same punishment.
In Frozen Fever, it is shown that Hans is forced to work for his father in Denmark
@@alessandro5932 shoveling manure
Roger's song wasn't technically slander, though, since it was actually true. The only issue is that Roger didn't conclusively know that when he wrote the song.
Weeeelll its not slander if its true XD

It actually points out that not everyone who does what the Coachman did gets caught, sadly.
Justice will come for him in the new remake
Not to mention that he’ll need 5 or 6 baths with extra soap to get rid of the smell

Let's not forget Captain Hook. Though justified in getting revenge against Peter Pan for losing his hand, him being chased by the crocodile at the end of the battle is probably somewhere in the middle of non-lethal fates, since in the sequel, he rid himself of the crocodile.
And got an octopus instead
And Shere Khan, who would probably be somewhere in the final section. The reason for it is mainly because he has a flaming branch tied in his tail, which if it tightened enough, would’ve been difficult to remove and he does run away after seeing it. He does reappear in the second film (2003) where he is even more intimidating towards Mowgli.
Medusa from the rescuers would also be in the same section (last one), mainly because it’s not shown if her alligators were able to climb up or knock down the pole she was holding onto to keep them from her. If they did, it was probably shown offscreen.

did they ever treat him kindly at the start besides considering what zeus really is he should have been kicked off the throne

Who in the world thinks that’s their best movie?
@@FirstnameLastname-bp2pg I'm not sure if it's necessarily Disney's best movie, but it is an amazing movie from the era it came from.
3. Hercules’s first monster is the Nimean Lion
4. Hades does end up in the River of Styx after getting punched, but it’s more like he is taking a swim.
TECHNICALLY, he's the God of the underworld, not death.
@@charliecomer6001 No he is the god of death and king of the underworld.
The live-action Pinnochio has already been made and unfortunately the Coachman still got off Scott-free.
Facilier,
In the movie The Princess and The Frog (2005), when he gets dragged to the underworld, he is dragged to hell to be tortured forever.
I'd say that "dragged off to hell" is equivalent to "dead".
@@oddish4352 There is still that ambiguity though. Are they really dead, or being kept alive to be tortured for eternity?
@@MinuHex Regarding Hades: I doubt, that the souls of the dead would be able to hold him in Styx for long, given he is a god, in some way their ruler and...well, Hercules escaped it in the movie, even without being a "full" god. Also, the most similiar thing to a pain-causing river in Greek mythology is the Acheron, not Styx. The latter is associated with hate, although it didn't seem to be a reason for mommy Thetis to *not* dip her little boy Achilles into it.
He'd still be dead. The nature of voodoo just means he'd be undead to some extent (in the context of ghosts, not zombies).
@@urahara64360 Wrong Chicken Little. You're thinking of the 2005 movie. I said the original, which was from 1943 and lasted less than 10 minutes.
Except Hades easily gets out of the river in the follow up series.
I'd argue that Hades' fall into the Styx is actually... Nothing. He's the God of the Underworld. He can probably get out there quite easily.
It will apparently take him some time to do it but I agree time is nothing in terms of cost for an immortal.
It's an inconvenience and certainly kinda embarrasing but agree that ultimately it's no big deal.
Out of all of Disney villains that is most scary is definitely chernabog, that guy would definitely give any children Terrifying nightmares.
*child
i think churnabag is one of the strongest characters is most cartoons out there (not only disney but all cartoons) might be a few that is close or same lvl maybe a little stronger but its not a lot. i dont think someone like superman would defeat him considering one of his weaknesses is magic and it looks like that is something churnabag uses. tbf we dont realy know exactly how strong he is but he looks realy powerfull
Well if we take the short film as literal than churnabag has a pretty big weakness.
Either daylight/Holy light or whatever vague force literally made him retreat.
Doesn't Superman have an ability where he goes supernova and shines brighter than the sun, the literal weakness of Chernobog?
@@revolvingworld2676 Daylight makes him close up his wings and sleep but at nightfall he awakes again. It is a never ending cycle. Chernabog is literally the Disney version of Satan. In the final part, when Mowgli ran away to the dangerous ruins and then later Baloo & Ranjan went to find he told Bagheera that mowgli is trouble, So when two ran to go find Bagheera told Baloo to be careful & good luck. And when Shere Khan saw another human called Shanti.

I feel so bad for Schaffrillas Productions, he doesn’t deserve a fate to always be upside down! That’s pretty disappointing for the game of life!
I’m horrible, I know. QwQ
Hard to agree with the ranking in my opinion when some of the reasons for placing these villains get rendered null & void by the end of the sequels
When you guys eventually go back to helluva boss good to evil, think it's safe to keep Stella as most evil but move Stolas out of grey
This is something I requested months ago, it’s good to see my request finally get in
In defense to professor yokai, if he hadn't had done what he did his daughter would still have been trapped, so he would have opted to do it all over if it came to it.
Yzma made the potions that turn things into other things, and her mind was in tact. Absolutely nothing stopping her from making a cure for herself lol
Wow I loved this video it blew my mind!
You left out some villains:
Captain Hook
Queen of Hearts
Shere Khan
Prince John
Madame Medusa
Ratcliffe
Gantu
John Silver
Alameda Slim
Bowler Hat Guy
Bellwether

depending on how importent the trade is the duke is in potentialy big trouble, also if he is the subject of some king or something like that he might be in a even bigger trouble.
oh and the other guy from that movie is defenitly in some big trouble for the crap he tryed to do unless he is a royal prince or something like that he would most likely not have nearly the same level of protection that the duke have, and monarcs dont like it when their subjects makes a political incident like that.
its frowned on to the degree that your family lose a large part ir not all their land and fortune and might be exiled to some area far away in the kingdom or teritory controlled and to the degree to the main person doing the deed that its a large chance to get hanged or a lot of other nasty ways to die. hanging and beheading is some of the cleanest ways unless other punishments are done first. if done in the correct way getting hanged will break your neck, but you might also have your head riped of your body or slowely choke to death all depending on the length of the rope. having your head choped of if done correctly is quick but some executioners did not do it well.
there is acctualy a book wirthen by a executioner i think from what is now germany.
Depending on if you consider the direct to DVD movies canon the ranking for some of these characters changes
You guys didn't bring sequels into consideration:
Yzma regained her human form in the sequel, so in my opinion she got off easy.
(Anastasia has a redemption arc in the 2nd and 3rd movie)
~Yzma was turned into a cat at the end of the first film but she became mostly human again in Kronk's New Groove. The end of that film has her transform into a rabbit and be potentially "eaten" by hawk babies. And anybody in this comments section bringing up the television series; I'm pretty sure that takes place between the first and second film chronologically. All in all; Yzma has a pretty bad fate in the end (if you believe she was eaten; if not, then I'm not sure where she would fall tbh)
~Edgar did most likely die in that trunk if we're being honest, ngl
~Jafar does die in the 2nd film. He teams up with Hades on the show Hercules, where they try to take down Aladdin, then Hercules. Not inaccurate placement for just the first film though.
To be fair the alien offered to get her back to the way she was

The duke of WEASELTOWN is one of those people I hate, because he has "monster" on his mind, and then he yelled it at Elsa, which seems intentional
Elsa's not a monster,YOU ARE
Also, you can see the Duke gets pissed when Hans fed the people of Arendelle with their own resources. With this in mind plus the fact that he was in for their resources,it means Weaseltown is a kingdom VERY low on resources
The people of Wease- Weselton will most likely suffer from hunger or bankruptcy thanks to their Duke

Well, Lady Tremaine was seemingly sentenced to servitude after compounding her crimes in "Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time."

(Which, Hans of everyone saved from Elsa.)
In the meantime, Anna, handed the keys to the kingdom to Hans to run things, while she ditched, yes to chase down her sister, but she had very little interest in actually doing her job, as Hans got to Elsa before Anna.
Can you do the same thing with Pixar and other studios as well
One slight caveat to Cruella, in the live action remake (not the Cruella movie, but the 101 Dalmatians adaptation) she does get slightly more repercussions where she's arrested.
Whether the fates of these villains was either "Get off easy" or "worse than death" they got what they deserved in the end.
