    I’ve tested with 160lbs so far and it has held. Only issue is there is no way I can hold the weight of the line while trying to rewrap the stick or do the toggle under tension. I’ve rewatched multiple times and believe I’m string the pulley the same as you did.

    Can you demonstrate this showing how you hang up the deer?

    Such a great idea, im looking to build one for our Aussie fallow dear.
    Did you use the 16mm or the 22mm harken double blocks?
    I see the 16mm is rated to 450lb, which is higher than the 22mm

    I'd like to see you hang the deer in the field. And bone it out ,what stuff do you use? Bags, wipes... Thought about this but you put it together! Great job! I carry a Summit also. Thanks!!!

    Thanks for the video - it is great and I am working on making my own hoist system because of it. When I was looking to order the Harken Micro Air I came across another light weight system by Wiser Precision called the Pynch Pulley - I would really appreciate any insight you have to this product and it would be any good - I will need it for Alberta Whitetail so 250 lbs max - thanks

      These look amazing, but some of the guys on Rokslide tested them using a bow scale to see if they really gave a mechanical advantage and they didn’t fare well. I guess the fact that the ball bearing is pinched in the sheave causes a serious loss of efficiency.

    Do you gut and debone or quarter and pack out? Could you use gutless method while hanging?

    This is amazing, can it handle elk?

    • @kevinbiggs3753
      @kevinbiggs3753  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would upgrade the pulleys to something beefier for elk. The micro pulleys I am using have a rating of 350#.

    How is the system holding up?

    • @kevinbiggs3753
      @kevinbiggs3753  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has worked well. It helps to have a strong stick to wrap the dynaglide with as you are raising the deer. Otherwise it’s kind of biting in your hands. I have done a big 6 , a 9 and a 8 pointer with this system in the last 3 seasons.

      The harken micro air double pulley has a max working load of 350 pounds. That is definitely the weakest part of this system.
