Well, just a thought, but how about opening up roof edge where the fire and heat are clearly showing while the fire was small... And let's see if we can get anymore firefighters in the collapse zone of a wall clearly showing failure and outward bowing...
Hey Erkki dont worry about it. Its a metal ladder and its built for this type of sitsuation. How long have you been a member of the Tonka armchair fire department anyway?
Aluminum melts at 1200° that ladders toast. How long have you pretended to be a member of a fire department? If you remember of this one I’d hang my head in shame!!!
Wow it seemed like a smaller fire but a few minutes dangerous. Was there a space between the ceiling and roof that created problems? Glad nobody was hurt
1 3/4 inch line on a commerical? Really? You already put an ariel into defensive operations almost immediately upon setting up which tells me this is 2 1/2 type operation. My department considers 2 1/2 on detached residential garage fires let alone a commercial mechanic shop. You would catch a suspension if you pulled an 1 3/4 for a commercial structure fire.
Looked like a massive lot of class B fire, including roof tar. Water only does so much on Mercron, Dexron, roof tar, and so on. Some where early in the video I figured out the place was a total loss. That's a real shame, but Jiffy is insured.
building integrity seemed to be fine. I see no danger of a collapse. you never know what dangoures chemicals the building could have inside. just like earlier comments a lot of class B fuels. that's could have been one of the main reasons 4 alarms was called. also it occurs to me it was around Christmas time by the reaf on the front of one of the trucks. this could also be a fact in while 4 alarms was called personnel can not operate under these conditions very long without rehab.
Doesn't appear to be a logical, smart move, parking the ladder within feet of the front of the building. Good way to change the paint scheme on the passenger side. Fire trucks ARE NOT fire-proof.
how do you get to a 4th alarm at a 1 story commercial Jiffy Lube?? Yeah, there is hazmat and methyl-ethyl-bad shit there, but a 4th alarm assignment with nobody trapped?
SASD209...I was wondering the same thing myself. Medium sized 1 story commercial, no interior operations, building a total loss, no exposure hazard. Possibly the IC was covering himself by ordering more resources than necessary.
Who is in command first and formost and who is the IDIOT that made the decision to set up the ladder truck in front of the building in the collapse zone? this bunch of premodonna firefighters destroyed a building that could have had minimal damage. Obviously they dont rely on there basic training.
It's really awesome to see cops help out like that

I love these kind of videos
I was wondering how you turned a little bit of fire into a fourth alarm now I know.
Nice knock by all the Fire crews. Great video coverage. :o)
Who lost their ground ladder on the east side of the building....?

shooter4287 LOL! Erkki paid attention to the video, and you're just trolling the comments. Do you fail so hard in public very often?

Dedicated brave guys to get on that roof.
Great video.

That was a sweeeeeet Electro-Gumby suit on the fire police dude!!
Hi, I was just wondering where was this fire(I mean which State.)
Very good video coverage,
Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania
I wonder how many people realized after this how easy it is to change your own oil.

Who lost their ground ladder on the east side of the building. Lucky it was not today with -12 degree wind chills it would of been a frozen mess.
Was anyone hurt
