Even while you were doing it, I was like “oh it’s not that different” and then you did the comparison and wow. You were beautiful before but you’ve really elevated it now!! Loved this video
This is one of the most helpful makeup videos I’ve ever watched! The comparison side by side makes such a difference, because like you said, it’s all subtle differences. So whenever I watch plain tutorials on getting a lifted look, I never quite succeed lol. I also love how you didn’t format this as a “do’s and don’ts” video. Because your old makeup still looks great! Just different :)
I waited to watch this until I could give it my complete attention and take notes haha. The differences are so subtle, but when you put them all together it makes a huge difference. Can't wait to try these tips!
Love how in depth you’re going into it! I’m guilty of doing the same makeup everyday and not really loving it. So i definitely want to try changing things up to suit me better
I have never had much of a makeup routine because it all felt so overwhelming to me. This video was so helpful and easy to understand and felt like a routine I could be consitent with. I immediately went to Sephora and picked up a bunch of the products you used so I could try myself and now I'm obsessed!! I got so many compliments the first time I tried this look and I am so excited to have an actual makeup routine now. You're awesome! Thank you!
I watch this video every time I want to elevate my makeup routine which is often and honestly I would not be mad if you made another updated video even if nothing has changed in your routine😂❤️ or a video of how you do lowkey makeup vs elevated makeup looks!!!
I’ve also made the switch to lip liner + stain after being a no lips girly for the longest time and I LOVE NYX soft spoken w the original benetint. It’s so soft and pretty! U look gorg and the brows work so well on u xox
love this video, makeup is so fascinating! the way you can accentuate different features with different techniques was really interesting to watch in real time
I love the new routine so much and it influenced me a lot too! I have the brow gel, blush, brown pen, & setting spray all from your recommendations over the last year lol
This was so good and so helpful honestly. I remember you starting the journey to find the perfect makeup routing for you and you really FOUND it. Also your blush on your forehead slays and I started going the same after seeing you do it so ✨✨✨
I deleted TikTok & I can see how you over explain yourself like “i do it like this but if you do it like that that’s fine” bc of TikTok ppl will roast you!! I only have TH-cam & the comments are a breath of fresh air Love it ! Do more shorts!
This is awesome! I really want to make the switch to not using a lot of foundation.. (I’m an olive skin tone girlie) 😂 can you show us how you would incorporate a foundation?
24:56 On a daily basis I do the same thing with just rubbing out the creased concealer on my lid before shadow 😂 But on good days I’ll avoid putting any concealer on my lids and then use a skin tone eye primer- I really like the p Louise one (I’ve actually also used it as an undereye concealer and liked it lmao). I like a super bright inner eye corner area so it makes a great base for a light pearly shade. And then obviously helps all the shadow last all day
No shade but I remember when you'd take the charlotte tilbury flawless filter wand and just swipe it all over your cheeks. You've come such a long way since then.
I wish the camera was a little closer to you and you facing the window it looks like the window is on your left side while your right is shadowed. Loved the video tho

Thank you so much! It seems like such subtle changes but they really add up!
Wow! You’ve really perfected your makeup to be so flattering on your features 😍 I’m sooo impressed
Thank you so much!! Learning makeup for your face shape makes a huge difference!

I've done my makeup the same since about 2016..I've been needing to upgrade my routine. I will for sure be applying these tips!!
the end is like two different people!! you have perfectedddd that snatched look
This was so good and so helpful honestly. I remember you starting the journey to find the perfect makeup routing for you and you really FOUND it. Also your blush on your forehead slays and I started going the same after seeing you do it so ✨✨✨
I loved this video! I'm in the middle of upgrading my makeup routine and I loved this!
This was so helpful! It's crazy what a difference technique makes
This is the perfect in-depth makeup tutorial, you've inspired me to change up my routine too! What fake tanner do you use, or is your tan natural? x
my body tan is natural but I have tanologist drops in dark on my face!
Am I too lazy to do my own makeup? Yes. Did I still watch and thoroughly enjoy this video? Also yes
My birthday is this weekend and this could not have come at a better time!
super fun video! I love how in depth it was!
This video is GOLD, thank you for all the tips!!
i legit took notes on this video

It looks so good! Thanks for sharing 😊
This was SO helpful Mary!!!!
Love this so much! Would you be willing to do a dedicated makeup favorites video?
I deleted TikTok & I can see how you over explain yourself like “i do it like this but if you do it like that that’s fine” bc of TikTok ppl will roast you!!

okay but without makeup your skin is GLOWING
Love it ❤ Thank you for sharing ❤
This is great Mary!
9:56 Mary which brush do you use for the Saie bronzer?
Or does anyone have any recommendations?
I use Sephora pro brush no 88 😄
This is awesome! I really want to make the switch to not using a lot of foundation.. (I’m an olive skin tone girlie) 😂 can you show us how you would incorporate a foundation?
I have perioral dermatitis as well so I opt for mineral sunscreen but they're all so idk oily and I already have combo skin, it's a struggle
Would love to see a hair routine!

Holy crap what a difference! Now I’m questioning all of my makeup techniques
I too, have my ecotools angled brush that has seen my eyebrows through the literal worst years of my life but is irreplaceable
my longest relationship at this point is with that brush
No shade but I remember when you'd take the charlotte tilbury flawless filter wand and just swipe it all over your cheeks. You've come such a long way since then.
This is amazing! Do you find you don’t reach for foundation at all anymore?
I still like foundation, just depends on the look I’m going for! But I more often just use concealer!
Thank you for this! I am olive tone and square as well. :)
The difference!!!
I wish the camera was a little closer to you and you facing the window it looks like the window is on your left side while your right is shadowed. Loved the video tho
thank you! I definitely want to give y’all the best quality possible, so I’ll do that next time!
