I don't want to compare Torino with other Italian cities, but for me, it remains the most beautiful city in Italy. This city is simply wonderful, it also boasts many records, Torino is the city that has the largest porticoed square in Europe, the first capital of Italy, it has the largest Roman gate in the world "porta palatina", it hosts, outside Egypt, the most important Egyptian Museum in the world. In 1896 in Torino there was the first cinema screening in Italy. The "Porta Palazzo" market is the largest open-air market of Europe, the Mole Antonelliana was until 1889 the tallest building in all of Europe, it is the Italian city where the film industry was first established, it boasts of being one of the greenest European cities if not the largest among them, and many other things. Everything about Torino will win you over, its architecture, its museums, its parks, its squares, its fountains, its food, sweet and savory. Visit Torino, you will be fascinated by it, it is a real jewel, which you will never forget.

    • @IfWeGoTo

Oh gosh, yeah!! It's hard to compare anything in Italy, every city is so wonderful and has so much to offer. I agree though, Torino is amazing! I know it doesn't pop up as a very popular tourist destination (at least among Americans) but it was easily one of our favorite cities in the country - so much to offer in one place and the FOOD! Just incredible.
Thank you so much for sharing a bit about Torino, hopefully it will encourage others to experience this amazing city too! :)

Nice video! Turin is my city, the gran Balon isn’t the biggest antique market in Europe. But if you walk just behind it in Piazza della Repubblica you’ll find the market of Porta Palazzo. Now, that is the biggest open market in Europe. They sell fresh groceries, household items and clothes. It is HUGE 😊
The Balon unfortunately it’s nothing compared to what it was 20-25 years ago.
