Mark is very analytical 🧐 in every repair he does. Very important lesson to know how to identify the shorted capacitor versus resistor it’s really helpful and can’t grasp that knowledge from many books but only from experienced tech. Very helpful.

Well, believe it can be many things not only this Resistor. I solved this issue replacing U3001 after trying your solution. U3001 was intact but looks not well put in its place.
After replacing it, the issue has been solved.
