I didn't think it would be this good just because the Z mount felt so light and toyish. The glass is extremely excellent so far. I haven't found a bad one yet. Im hoping to find a bad one so I can make drama but so far Z is winning.
@@theCameraVille Be happy you dont live in Canada. People here can wait over 1 - 2 years to get medical treatment for a knee injury, sometimes even longer. And that's basic healthcare service, not advanced like they have in the U.S. Anyways, hope you get better.
Nikon kit lenses should not be underestimated, especially if you are going to use them as general landscape lenses. You can master a kit lens and get some dope results! P.S. the Z mount Kit lens may be the sharpest kit lens ever made.
This goes a step further with the 24-70 F4, albeit a 'higher end' kit lens that thing is fantastic. I sunk slightly more into my setup and got the 24-70 f2.8 but the f4 is almost just as sharp for half the price. I really only went with the f2.8 for the better low light and bokeh, can't ignore how its three times heavier though haha.
The big differences you’re talking about are not showing through. It looks as though the left photos are only slightly blown, but the details look pretty much same on both sides
You get more detail on the Zmount. Im not sure where you fell off. Even the elements on paper even suggest its going to be good. Please watch on a computer and not smartphone .
Nate the great If you can see the quality difference after youtube compression then you can expect more of a difference in real life. With that in mind , why are you on yotube looking for comparison if this is what you believe in?🧐🧐
@@natedagreat90 I actually seen enough difference to determine the lens quality in any TH-cam channel. Anymore isn't going to be a huge jump anyways. Its minimal at best. This is why we are here. The extra isn't going to make a difference unless you are watching it 3:1 lol.
Huge differences between the Z series lenses and the F. I have many F mount lenses and Z mount lenses. I even have a Ziess Otus 55mm 1.4 for my D850 - and I can tell you that the 50mm Z mount is as good as that $4000 dollar lens. It's amazing what Nikon has done here - I'm very happy with the new glass - it's amazing stuff. Great review!
Yup!!! The Z is soo sharp. I'm so surprised what Nikon did to their lenses for the Z mount. Amazing work. I will think about the Fuji competition. That would be quite interesting to see~!

I quit photography 7 years ago after more then 12 years in photography, i had d80, d300 and d800 with many lenses but sold them all and i kinda miss photography but i want something light and small for just family and travel photos and my eyes on zfc with kit lens, so your video is really helpful and didn't expect a kit lens will be this good, impressive results thanks alot
This comparison might be silly to some but I found it incredibly useful. Just got a Z mount mirrorless and I already have the 18-55. Was torn between getting the ZFC adapter or just getting the 16-50. VERY glad I watched this video first. Thank you for this video. Subbed.
when you line up the Mm after 16mm , you notice when you look at the data it doesn't say 24mm it says 24.5mm or line up at the 35mm number on the camera data it says 36mm is that a problem?

Yup it is! Crazy I tested most of them already. All are super sharp and lightweight.

Nikon Z50 with its 16-50mm kit lens is very impressive. I want to see Z non-S line 28mm and 40mm prime lenses.

Bongkar-bongkar powertools S line. F mount with adapter has issue. In my opinion, I think it was on purpose.
