I’ve been thinking about this lately. I think MoM is actually a Darkness, if not that missing 13th Darkness, but he betrayed his comrades and now works for the light.
This war between light and darkness has never ended from the time it began, but perhaps the Master of Masters seeks to finally put an end to it. I have more thoughts on this, but I'll share them as time goes on. Be sure to share your own thoughts! Thanks to KHInsider for the Union X footage and translations: th-cam.com/users/KHInsiderVideos
So I'm guessing MoM set everything up, including Xehanort, to ensure the world would be reset and both light and darkness would be erased, but obviously that failed because of Sora. So yeah, I guess we just have to wonder if Sora was part of the plan or not. Hmm..
Sora is the X Guia was looking for based on the extra pages. I believe the reason the Foreteller could not stop their War is because the Master of Masters was writing about Sora's War. It is a jester prank. Sora "betrays" Mom prophecy, but he was only able to because Mom did not write the whole thing. Darkness was watching, so Mom make it incomplete. This is also why Mom is so sure the Foreteller's cannot stop their War, and tells them outright. The Foreteller's War sets off a bunch of variables which led to Sora, Mom's favorite "piece". Sora will cheat Darkness, and Mom will win by proxy.
I think that like Darkness, Mom, if he is Light, pulls his essence in things other than No Name. Sora, for example. Luxu, too. We see in Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 3, Eraqus hitched a ride in Terra Xehanort, allowing Terra to stay. Which means Mom's Eye of Provindence reaches far, like Darkness.
I was wondering if you'd eventually talk about Union at all cos you so far have only really covered Verum Rex stuff! But now that the mobile games are all we got for now I guess it's going to be more of the focus. But those games are finally getting really interesting!! 😊
perhaps his plan is to fill unreality full of light instead of trying to eradicate darkness in his home reality. That would accomplish his goal and in a much more efficient manner
I think MoM is... Light? My reason being is that MoM said to Ira that darkness prevails and light expire (final passage), something that cannot be changed about the future. MoM also implies that what he wants to do was actually related to the aftermath (darkness win). MoM also seemed concerned about himself "disappearing". MoM gave Ava the role to spread light on other worlds. I felt like Ava's actual role is to "delay" this war by keeping the light alive, while at the same time giving MoM time to get his plan done (because the future where "darkness" wins is certain). Idk lol. But... MoM's blue eye on the "No Name" sword he gave to Luxu kinda gave me a vibe that it connects to Yozora. The sword has a tint of "brownish-yellow" in the blue eye. There seems to be a focus on Yozora's red eye, slightly tinted "blue". This "red" could belong to "somebody" that Nameless Star talks about? The next "red" I could think of is the color of the symbol on the black box. The inscription on the box suggest it could be "Pride" (which, relate to deadly sin and Lucifer as "Light") but Maleficent said it could be a book? Yozora seemed to be name as "night" that has a theme related to "darkness". Yozora and MoM was also seen in SE, but not side by side. Sorry, ranting again lol. Now, my interest in Toy Box Rex and Maleficient became bigger. I have so many questions and I can't find answers lol. Nomura is destroying my brain.
Lol yeah there's a lot of things to consider. I'm very much in agreement with the idea MoM is Light or something very similar, at least something opposite to the Darkness manifestation we've seen, especially if he was at war with beings like it in the past. But yeah there's a lot to consider, and I got a few more theories to drop before the year is out
@@NextGenNovelist Dude, that will be dope! I can't wait to hear your stuff about MoM and how it might connects to KH3 Secret Ending (Sora, Riku and Yozora). Too much questions but can't find the answers lol.
I’m hoping as well that the MoM somehow connects to Yozora. For the future of KH itself, I really hope the next game is a Verum Rex (Yozora game) to give us some background for his character - much in the way we got BBS as a prequel to explain The Lingering Will and how the storyline of Kingdom Hearts was set up by Xehanort. Adding onto that, for the next game, I really want it to focus on Yozora so as to help us understand him and the Nameless Star, along with the meanings behind their words about being “unrecognizable,” and such. I really hope the Master is one of the original characters in Quadratum (as it’s a world without darkness and light, so he wouldn’t have to wear his coat), and he somehow sets Yozora through his trials. Upon the completion of his trials, Yozora meets Riku and Riku actually ends up being the person that asks Yozora to use his powers to save Sora. That way the final battle of that game could be the fight with Sora from Re:Mind (that way we know the canonical ending to that battle) [I’m hoping it’s some sort of dream battle, and that’s why Sora is waking up in that puddle in the original secret KH3 ending and why Yozora is waking up being driven around by Luxord’s somebody). And then finally the final game for Phase 2 (since there are only two more “game boxes” shown in that Phase 2 shot of the trailer) would be the Riku/Kairi game. It could perfectly tie up what I call The Search for Sora Saga by having Riku travel through Quadratum with Yozora’s help (maybe, and then the third party member could depend on the location) - then on the Kairi side of the game, we would have Aqua as our partner (again, allowing the third member of the team to be location based). I believe doing it this way will allow for Riku to save Sora and allow us players to see what’s going on in the original KH universe through Kairi’s eyes. This way we could see what’s going on with Ven, maybe some answers about Subject X, and finally some true hints toward the Master’s plan and purpose for the box. Only thing I’m not sure about is if I want Riku and Sora to make it back at the end of this game or if it should be saved for the beginning of KH4? This way we’d have some answers and other things left for Phase 3 (KH4-6). Just as long as the Master ends up being the main antagonist to replace Xehanort I will be quite happy. I really don’t want it to be a manifestation of Darkness. Ever since this Dark silhouette has been brought into the story of UX I’ve had the feeling that the Seven Hearts of Light is the light side of the method to open the box and along with the Darkness we see in UX that there would be 12 others to serve as the 13 darknesses, thus the dark side of the method to open the box. Now that Young Xehanort has encountered another being of Darkness in Wonderland, it truly gives me hope my ideas could be correct.
@@dustinglasner7080 I believe Toy Box is a World where people's Imagination put them in contact with "fiction" and they made games based on what they saw. I also think Yozara is Mom's Unreaity proxy, like Sora's is one of his Kingdom Heart's Reaity proxy. By proxy, I mean indirect agents.
I think the MoM actually came from Rex's world and ended up in the kingdom hearts universe by some means of power other than a keyblade. Like Rex's world doesn't have darkness or light or the protection of kingdom hearts an when he got their he was like over joyed to feel the warmth or whatever an kingdom hearts choose him to have a keyblade. Bare with me now and you'll find out why that is. Like why call it the power of waking? If the kingdom hearts universe is the real world why call it the power of waking when you end up in another universe all together? Maybe it's the power to wake you up to reality even though your from the fantasy world? An how did rex end up in the world where he fought sora he couldn't have used the power of waking without a keyblade so there has to be another power from Rex's world to allow freedom to move to the kingdom hearts universe an that's how the MoM could get to the KHU(kingdom hearts universe) also at the end of kingdom hearts 3 you see the ancient keyblade masters just walk into existence. not sure if it was power of waking or not or if they even was in Rex's world. Plus I think kingdom hearts is like a door way to soras world and Rex's world they need 2 keys the reality key an the fantasy key to unlock kingdom hearts from both sides I mean after all the whole plot is revolving around opening kingdom hearts and forging the key to it so I dont see how introducing rex would ultimately stop the MoM of still wanting to open kingdom hearts An the box luxu has in his possession is more then likely the answer we need to figuring everything out. like the purpose of it why it still has not been opened? its more then likely they want to open it in Rex's world. I think it contains darkness like we seen in union cross helping Maleficent. If Rex's world does not contain darkness then introducing darkness to that universe like that would be how they can do it an unlocking kingdom hearts from both sides would be able to bring light to that universe as well maybe doing so would help them take it over or bring hope? I believe it's a way of bringing a fantasy universe into the realm of reality. You can see they was testing that out in toy story world having a machine or toys have artificial hearts to see if they can give an artificial heartless heart to a robot in Rex's world to simulate an actual heartless? After all there is no darkness over there for a heartless so giving a machine based heartless wold be beneficial to them. An why they was studying it. The MoM came from a fantasy world when he entered the KHU an felt the power an protection of the light he wanted that for everyone of his fantasy ppl an kingdom hearts bestowed power on him in the form of a keyblade to help him bring fantasy to reality. So he studied various things like collecting lux an so forth but all ended in failure but eventually he realized that with light there has to be dark an in order to bring his fantasy to reality he needed a way to unlock kingdom hearts for the light an needed darkness as strong as that light to have balance so he made the book of prophecies to make sure the luxu would be victorious in the future in unlocking or forging the reality keyblade an also using the box to collect the darkness he spread around to match that light but all the means making sure there would be a person to make sure the KHU wouldn't be broken beyond repair but someone who can repair the damage hes done as soon as hes done it an with the success to that he went back to his own world to set up for the forging of the hero who would forge the fantasy keyblade an have those 2 heros meet to learn there is a fantasy an a reality world but it moves the master of masters plan up higher to unleash the darkness an the light to bring fantasy into reality. For what purpose I dont know. Maybe he wants to take over or hes actually wanting to help or maybe kingdom hearts told him to do so in order for everything to go back into being one whole world an universe again.

He says in KH3 the world will be reborn/reset. Marluxia mentions in Kingdom of Corona that the Org wants to create balance by being a contrast to light. So that was their objective the whole time, to establish balance by using Kingdom Hearts to reset everything. I'm probably forgetting some other dialogue snippets but that's the jist of it

Mom put himself in the Book.
With light finally ariving to unreality, darkness will soon follow.
