I love loft! Most of my clothes are from loft. Most of the pieces are good quality and last several years. A few of them tend to shrink. They have great sales so you don't have to pay full price for anything. The nourish bowl looks delicious.
Thanks for making the video! Your lunch looks super yummy. I used to love LOFT but the quality drove me away, went from buying a lot to returning a lot due to material/ drape disappointment. I like their wide range of sizing and "fun but still office friendly" style, but personally, I think the execution (with the right fabric) is the lacking. In the US they are often 40% off but even at a discount I still don't find it appealing, rather pay more for better.
I LOVE Loft for blouses but their bottoms are hit or miss for me as they tend to run a little large in my opinion (only the bottoms though, tops seem true to size to me... and I am very petite generally speaking). I'm not sure if they run their sales differently overseas, but in the U.S. they have sales ALL THE TIME, especially if you sign up for emails (if you're concerned about prices).
I feel like a lot of US brands tend to vanity size - can make shopping from them so difficult if you aren't familiar with the sizing! I actually found out that they have inflated the prices for international customers so it's a little off putting to be honest. I might maybe snap something up during the sale but I'll probably hold fire until then... Appreciate you sharing your experience! x

Ivanete - I'm SO sorry for the delayed response. If you're after a slip dress, Grana have some lovely ones which are midi length and can be worn with a tee underneath for something more casual. What is your budget? I can do a little search online! x

Loft is a generic mall brand in the US. They are good for entry level work wear, but like you found out, they don't have the best quality fabrics. I tend to stay away from them as I find them a little basic (like not particularly different/stylish, more just mainstream lady office wear) and the quality varies. Some shirts I have I love from them, and a few have aged extremely badly, like something from Forever 21.

I have Banana Republic and Uniqlo pants. Sadly, BR's quality has gone down recently; they were my staple brand for many years. For skirts, it varies, but mostly J. Crew. Vintage J. Crew, like vintage BR, was the best. For tops, I don't look good in button downs, so someone else would have to make recommendations, but I tend to go with more upmarket brands for blouses or get basic T-shirts from Target that I combine with nice bottoms, shoes, and jewelry to dress them up.
Loft quality is good and they always have sales. I have never bought anything less than 40%off from loft lol. However I found their clothes to run large most of the time and in a boxy fit.
LOL Elena we had four huntsman spiders around our house the other week. Winston kept trying to eat them. Usually I don't see too many spiders around our house but there are a few in the walkway to the street and the worst part of my day is having to duck under their webs to avoid walking into them I swear haha! Guess that comes with living in Australia though!

The sizing is very generous. For example, i am a 29 waist, size 8 US in practically every brand, except Loft (and her sister company Ann Taylor), where i take a size 6 (28 waist). I think they use a lot of polyester blends because they are easy to care for - wash and hang, not wrinkles or ironing. I shop there often for office attire (especially their trousers). I'm not an influencer or anything, but i am on Instagram under the name Celinaslookbook where you can see a daily picture of my outfits. I tag all the items and you will notice that for my work clothes, nearly everyday has a Loft item in there. I would not purchase sweaters from them... i find that that is a weakness in the brand. Skirts are awesome, pants and plenty of tops and dresses. wait for a 40% or 50% percent off sale (which they have very regularly) and remember that sizing is very much on the generous size (a full size). I hope you take the plunge so i can see you style some pieces. I'm a long time fan or yours and love your blog and channel. You SOLD me on the Everlane flats and will be ordering them today :)

Loft shirts really fray around the edges and seams. It’s not the best quality their non polyester things last a bit longer. They also always have sales so it better to things on sale there.
My items from Loft have proven to pass the test of time. However, their polyester utility shirt is not breathable, obvious I guess. So if it's hot, you'll burn in it. Also their sizing is pretty generous.

They did the same thing with Banana Republic so I'm considering it a personal attack on me lol. Anyways, Ann Taylor LOFT is great. I do also love Ann Taylor. Yes, the "wise" dupes videos would be great. I am not fond of the really fast fashion places, as the products don't hold up. Quality, fit, price are paramount And paired or mixed with luxury hit all the boxes. Continue to test Everlane please.

Loft have beautiful pieces but most of their tops are poliéster specially long sleeve blouses. I prefer Ann Taylor is more professional but nicer pieces I think.
Flowers!!! The quality of Loft' s clothing has diminished. It can be hit or miss. I am a material quality snob, I admit. I find their prices don't fit the quality...unless on sale. The white shirt with the zigzag looks good but the other items I'm not so sure about. I only buy denim, cotton, and linen pieces from this particular company. Hope this helped.
Haha I am definitely a bit of a fabric snob too, though sometimes I will make an exception. I will say that I do have a couple more expensive items with a poly content in them, but I am conscious that polyester is used by designers for some items of clothing from a technical stand point to help with the drape or texture etc - mostly I try to go for natural fibres though. Your feedback definitely helps - I think I'll probably be giving it a miss, a shame as some of the items were pretty cute!
Hi, I am a regular customer at The Loft because I wear Petite size, their petite section is great; at least it works for me. I have been their customer for 10 years. Most of their clothes are good quality with some exceptions, their line Lou and Grey I am not very impressed. Most of the dressy shirts are good, you dressed them up or down. Overall is good, but of course other stores are better quality.
