    Hey Priyanka, I found your channel very informative. Thankyou! Can you suggest courses around Finance with relevant demand in jobs? Considering finance is out of the list in NSW and not on any of the priority sector.
    Also, can you share which occupation with which you got your PR?

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, thank you so much for the support! I’m glad you find my channel helpful. 😊 In terms of finance courses, you could look into Business Analytics or Accounting, as they often align with the skills shortage list, and there’s still good demand in sectors like consulting and tech. Since finance isn't currently prioritized in NSW, these options might provide more opportunities.
      For my PR, I went through the Business Analyst occupation and also moved to Canberra. It was on the skills list when I applied, and it helped me secure PR.

    Hi, Im planning to do bachelors in nursing and ive recieved offers from unis in canberra and adelaide, I’ve received a very good scholarship from uni if canberra, which city would be more apt and worth living in for straight 3 years? Kindly reply, thanks. You are doing a great job tho 👏

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi there!
      Congratulations on your offers and the scholarship from the University of Canberra! 🎉 When choosing between Canberra and Adelaide, consider that the scholarship from Canberra can significantly reduce your expenses, although the cost of living there is generally higher, especially for housing.
      Adelaide offers a more affordable lifestyle with beautiful beaches and a vibrant arts scene, which might make your budget stretch further over the three years. Both universities have strong nursing programs, so it’s important to look into the specific curricula and clinical placement opportunities each offers.
      If you prefer a more active, cosmopolitan environment and the financial support from the scholarship is a priority, Canberra could be a great choice. However, if you favor a more relaxed and budget-friendly lifestyle, Adelaide might be the better fit for you. Best of luck! 👏😊

      Hi there, sure. Thanks for the suggestion.
      It’s definitely challenging, but not impossible. Many students manage their fees through a combination of part-time work and budgeting. The key is planning ahead, finding flexible jobs, and staying disciplined with your expenses. I’ll dive deeper into how it’s done in a future video!

    I am planning to pursue a master in Information technology in Deakin this February. Just out of curiosity, I want to know if the tech industry there is at least a 50% friendly to fresh graduates with no prior experience. I mean is it at possible to get a job as a software engineer or IT consultant or business analyst within 6 to 9 months after graduation having a strong skillset.

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Pursuing a Master’s in Information Technology at Deakin University is a great choice, and the tech industry in Melbourne is generally welcoming to fresh graduates, with many companies actively seeking new talent.
      With a strong skillset, including proficiency in key programming languages and relevant projects, securing a position as a software engineer, IT consultant, or business analyst within 6 to 9 months after graduation is definitely achievable.
      I would suggest that if you want to enhance your chances, engage in internships or part-time roles during your studies, build a solid professional network, utilize Deakin’s career services, and showcase your work through a portfolio. By leveraging these strategies and staying proactive in your job search, you should be well-positioned to enter the tech industry successfully.

      For jobs, both cities are good and have their pros and cons. Melbourne is more liveable but you might find more jobs in Sydney. But Sydney is very expensive and its getting crowded. But Sydney's weather is the best. So its a trade off.

    According to you, which fields have greater opportunities in Australia in the upcoming years?

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Healthcare (e.g., nurses, medical practitioners), Engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical), ICT (software engineers, ICT business analysts), Construction, and Education (teachers and university lecturers). These fields align with country's focus on critical services, digital infrastructure, and development projects as far as I am understanding. But do your own research.

    ERP kya scope hai Australia me

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  หลายเดือนก่อน

      ERP has decent scope in Australia, especially in major cities. However, the market can be competitive, and while roles like ERP consultants and project managers are in demand, having relevant experience and certifications (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is key. It may support pathways to PR if it aligns with Australia's skills shortage list, but it’s crucial to stay updated on immigration laws as they frequently change.

    dii plz tell that it is important to learn australian slangs before coming to australia or not

    • @priyanka_saluja
      @priyanka_saluja  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! It's not absolutely necessary to learn Australian slang before coming here, but it definitely helps! Knowing common phrases like 'arvo' (afternoon), 'Macca’s' (McDonald's), and 'no worries' makes it easier to connect with locals and understand conversations better. Plus, it can be fun and shows you’re open to the culture. But don’t worry-most people are friendly, and you’ll pick it up as you go!
