It's so nice to see Courtney getting involved and enjoying herself ❤️ to stop your pieces sticking to the molds, avoid any kind of torch lighter and just use a long neck lighter, I found this out the hard way when I had to bin a bunch of molds 🤣
Hello Ben, Nicole and Courtney! Another awesome day in the shop! The new pocket hugs are so pretty and I do love the flower skull even if the color changed. Looking forward to seeing the next new projects. Big hugs from Texas!🥰😁🤩😊
Hi Guys, I'm loving the dried flowers! I've been drying mine for quite a while. I've been pressing them in a big book with lots of big books on top of them. I've made different things with putting them in resin. The main thing is to make sure they are completely dry before you put them in resin. I'm so glad Courtney is enjoying making the hearts. It is so much fun! God bless her. ❤🎉
I love the flower skulls! I really like Courtney’s feminine designs. My mom would love the blue flowers, and the four leaf clovers call out to our Irish heritage.
I'm glad to see everyone is doing great. Courtney, I'm glad to see you have a good eye for art. Baby wipes might be a good thing to keep in your shops for clean up the molds
Loving the happiness within the family.❤ Nicole needs one if the microwave flower drying kits. That way you only have to wait minutes instead of weeks. I love mine. Everything turned out Awesome.
When you put colored flowers in a skull, do it like you did the nerds. Then put a second pour on. That's how I do mine and they never discolored on me. Have a blessed day, guys😊
I saw a sign in a garden centre a very long time ago that I noticed while I was at the till. It wasn’t one of the irritating pompous ones. It said “for a good life, have something to do, something to love, something to look forward to and something to strive for”. The something to do can be work or volunteering, it means being needed and feeling like you’re contributing. The something to love can be a potted plant, a companion animal or person. It means taking care of something that you nurture and put above yourself. The something to look forward to gives us hope and optimism. Every day a small thing that we look forward to keeps us going, and bigger things to share celebrate, feast and festival gives us memories, stories and experiences. The striving is the work of life, of our own journey, education and path. Wishing you all happiness.
I would like to thank you and Nicole and especially Courtney for making your videos as I have been struggling mentally and after watching videos yourselfs and Courtney you have inspired me to get back to what I love doing and that's making things from resin I cant thank you all enough thank you you have really helped me
Don't forget! #QOTD. 😉 Those are Shamrocks. Clover and shamrock are in the same family but different plants. Shamrocks always have 4 leaves and clovers have 3, so to find a clover with 4 leaves is actually somewhat unusual and "lucky" if you spot one. Courtney looked like she was having fun. So glad to see her happy and getting healthy again. Keeping Courtney in my prayers for her continued healing. Great that the machine is helping with the vapors. I'm sure Nicole is thrilled to not have to wear a mask anymore. I like the lotus flowers. Even though there were air bubbles, it still worked. Nicole said it right that it looks like raindrops on the flowers. Hi mom and dad. Nice of them to do a grocery run for you. Hello mower guy (forgot his name). Hope he gets his replacement belt soon. Thanks Ben for giving him a hand. The hearts look great. Even though the colors washed out in the skull, it still came out nice. Keep up the great work, Courtney. ❤️ Good vlog. Thank you. ❤️
Another good beautiful set of pocket hugs Courtney, I watch a British resin artist on another platform who uses a silica gel to dry her flowers and if I remember rightly it takes about a week to do, just something to think about. It is good seeing you all work and giggle together love from UK 🇬🇧 ❤️ xx
The flies know as soon as you grab the fly spray they leave and you are walking around the house in *hunting* mode trying to either listen or find that darn fly. The creations that you all made are just awesome !!! . Awesome to see Courtney having fun making things
Your mum is so adorable, so lovely to see your parents and Courtney. I did love that skull, it was awesome - it looked like brain synapsis in the skull. Really awesome. Also really thrilled with that sign, Ben. I hadn't thought of trying black acrylic cutting with my Xtool, but I know I have some in my shed, so it might be time to unearth it. Have a wonderful week and hugs to all.
Courtney you have an eye for colour and placement, well done👏😊 Ooo, almost forgot...Nicole's Niche for her work area. With the flower press, you'll want to tighten those thumb screws down every few days, as needed. The moisture in and thickness of, different flowers will shrink your stack as they dry.👍
I feel it in my fingers I feel it in my toes Love is all around me And so the feeling grows According to a search "Yes, you can eat Jacaranda flowers, but they can cause mild gastrointestinal upset if you eat a large amount." Now you need Courtney size gloves
When I was little I remember pressing flowers in, get this, a TELEPHONE BOOK. How old school is that? It was perfect though because, since I live outside Buffalo New York, our phone book was huge and the light paper of the pages absorbed the damp from the flowers an helped dry them. That's the biggest part of pressing flowers and leaves- removing the liquid from the item quickly, so that it doesn't rot. If you don't want to use the press, anything that can absorb the liquid, between two flat surfaces, with a weight on top, will get the job done. And don't limit yourself to things that are "pretty"! You'd be surprised at how nice an image you can make by adding the leaves of dried "weeds", or blades of dried grass, or just about any plant, really!
Excellent vlog!! Courtney your hearts are absolutely stunningly Gorgeous 😍 Thank you for your honest opinion about the debubbler machine. Cool to know about the machine pulling the resin down into small spaces in a mold. Nicole there is silica gel mixture you can put flowers into also. I have been doing it for over 30 years. However i put it into a microwave safe plastic container some on the bottom. Then flowers and cover completely with the silica gel. Then into my microwave. When the color is almost gone from the silica gel i place onto a cookie sheet and put into my oven to dehydrate it again. Google it. It is fantastic to get dried flowers right away. I use my wood press like yours for ferns . So looking forward to seeing your next video. Take great care and keep smiling and loving.
flowers float. the best way to do it is to fill the heart 1/2 way up place the flower on top wait about 1/2 the cure time of your resin to fill the mold the remaining way up that way you don't have a line in you resin showing the layers
You guys are so hilarious and always make my day. Its goid so see Courtney getting creative. Keep on rocking the resin girl! Maybe a paw inside of a heart since you are such a dog lover like I am... And so.e holographic glitter would Enhancer the babys breath in a skull... Or try some silk roses in a skull. Or frog.
The torch could be what is causing the epoxy to stick the mold, another TH-camr I watch recommends only using a long neck lighter to remove the bubbles ( Steve McDonald )
Dragon wing anatomy. The part that attaches to the back is the shoulder. Follow that bone up you pass the elbow to the main major bending fold of the wrist. If there is a spike there... that is the thumb. The rib going down the outside of the flapping skin of the wing is the pinky. The fingers go in order from there from outer wing to inner wing. So there is an aerodynamic way to add wings which means there is a right and wrong way.
Those Jacaranda flowers are beautiful! They remind me of the blooms from a trumpet vine, but in purple instead of orange. For the flower skull, what if you coated the babies breath in some uv resin before putting it in the skull. IDK if the uv resin would stop the heat of the normal resin or not, but I assume you guys would know or could experiment to see. As always, great vlog! 💜
I went to the store to see the hearts, and all the blue ones are already gone! 😮 The blue flower ones I think may be a hot selling pocket hug. (I like the blue flower hugs, and the layered ones, but the red flowers popped out to me the most, and I think that red flower with the green leaf and baby breath was my favorite.) For the vacuum machine, I think the slower one would be great for the deep pour, slow curing resin.....but if I were to make a resin table, I think I would need a bigger chamber or like 20 of those machines for the like 8cm deep table mould I used once 😂 Those other turkey leg frogs would make a great American Thanksgiving necklace or table decorations 😂 I think the new mini frog moulds look better, and I also kind of like the new dragon wings too, but the wings from the mould you snipped off the extra piece look good too.
Such a fun video. It was nice meeting your parents and your handsome lawn man. I do have a question for you. Who sells the best molds (butterflies, hearts, etc)? 💜
Fresh flowers won't work in resin. I tried it once and they just get brown and nasty. You can only use dried plant matter. So good to see you again, Courtney!! ❤
Hey, Ben Nicole and Courtney. It's great seeing you all creating resin art and spending time together. I love watching your channels. Ben, I have a question of the day. How did you come to make egg shapes as opposed to any other shapes? #QOTD.
While Jacaranda flowers are not considered toxic to humans, they can cause mild gastrointestinal upset if ingested in large quantities. However, its flower is an important food source for birds and other wildlife
Hi guy's, carry on being happy. Ben could you do a vlog on resin and what is best for what job? But I think you explain stuff in normal understanding language. Oh your pressed flowers you might have to tighten them up as the flower dries, to keep it flat. Take care.
This was a great video. It was awesome to see Courtney doing more resin work. Her stuff looks amazing. Would you put a skeleton inside your frogs? #QOTD what is the most interesting custom order you have been asked to make since starting your Etsy shop?
i hope it worked... Ben it did not only work, it looks amazing! i really love those flowers inside that skull (and i normally don't like flowers lol), say to Courtney she did great and i hope to see her soon as well. the frogs looks good, but still quite wierd tho and the wings, oh boi the wings, the longer part goes outside otherwise they are backwards. i hope it helps to understand their way better XD
A while ago (had to have been ...10yrs, at least...shoot, I'm getting old) I did an unofficial study. In that study I asked, "if you were a color, what color would you be?". I asked 200 random people. I found that 90% of people said that they would be blue. 🙄 And 3% said that they didn't understand the question 😂.
Still don't love the new frogs as much as the big ones. What about scanning one of your large frogs, and then printing them in smaller sizes, and then creating your own molds from that? Then they'd all match!
That was a fun episode. So good to see Courtney doing well. I do have a question, though. How might one go about requesting a custom frog from you guys?
I really want some Jacaranda trees now. Lol. Unfortunatly I can't because they don't do well in the cold. I live in Minnesota and it can get down to -50F during winter. Such a bummer. Lol
When you first metioned the bubbles in the flowers being rain drops, my mind went to the song "Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Bright copoer kettles and warm woolen mittens...these are a few of my favorite things". The four leaf clovers they sell like that are technically oxalis' which include the shamrock family. To be a true clover, which 4 leaf ones are a genetic thing, need to be in the sweet clover family which is more likely to be found in lawns. Ben, I have a question (doesnt need to be the question of the day, just an idea bobbing around in my head that i need a resin expert to answer). Could you take the sign you made and put something like cricket vinyl on the back and fill the letters with resin (with a bright color like the Saffron maybe)? Then peel the vinyl off when the resin is fully cured. I actually like the way Courtney's skull turned out.
It's nice to see you all enjoying.
DON'T FORGET THE QUESTION OF THE DAY!!!!!!!!!
I love seeing the three of you working together and Courtney's great big smile! Such a great episode! Courtney's hearts look terrific!
Your daughter has a beautiful smile. Makes me so happy!
Your Mom is too cute. I love the hearts with the babies breath in them.❤😊
It is so good to see Courtney flourishing .. And good to see you all smiling ... Well done

You are doing a good job of supporting, and encouraging, Courtney!! It’s a rough journey! I love to see the 3 of you creating together! Great job!!!

I always look forward to your videos, and the joy and happiness you bring. Thank you for sharing!
Lovely to see Courtney enjoying the resin crafts! Another great Vlog!
The glitter in the lotus skulls look really good. I wonder how that would look in Courtney's flower hearts? Love seeing you all having so much fun.
I love the flower skulls! I really like Courtney’s feminine designs. My mom would love the blue flowers, and the four leaf clovers call out to our Irish heritage.
I'm glad to see everyone is doing great. Courtney, I'm glad to see you have a good eye for art. Baby wipes might be a good thing to keep in your shops for clean up the molds

love the lotus skulls
Awesome to see Courtney doing so well!
I actually like the way the flowers look in the skull. Under the light it looks like oak trees in the fall.❤
Loving the real flower theme here
When you put colored flowers in a skull, do it like you did the nerds. Then put a second pour on. That's how I do mine and they never discolored on me.
Have a blessed day, guys😊

The flower skull looks great! Looks like a bunch of nerves and stuff in the brain. Great work Courtney! Can't wait to see the frogception ones!
Nice to see you guys smiling.

The flies know as soon as you grab the fly spray they leave and you are walking around the house in *hunting* mode trying to either listen or find that darn fly. The creations that you all made are just awesome !!! . Awesome to see Courtney having fun making things
Love the purple skull ❤
Good to see all you having fun together. Glad Courtney's helping on volgs.
That was fun! The time goes by super fast. I always feel just a teensy bit sad that the vlog is over. 😊
Need to start with the question of the day
I love the clover heart, I am part Irish and I love them.
The deck jokes had me LOL ing. I’m jealous of his deck. 😂
I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
Love is all around me
And so the feeling grows
According to a search "Yes, you can eat Jacaranda flowers, but they can cause mild gastrointestinal upset if you eat a large amount."

That flower skull looks like it would fit in perfectly with Addams Family decore.
When I was little I remember pressing flowers in, get this, a TELEPHONE BOOK. How old school is that? Hi guys, I think the articulating dragon would look awesome on Nicole's books.
Courtney's hearts look very nice, but I like how the skull turned out, very cool. 🙂👍👍👍
Back at work and on holiday next two weeks.
Om my i love the skull and hearts well done courtney

Love that purple flowering tree, I had been meaning to comment on it, but I was thinking it was a lilac bush. See you next time
Can you do a round coffee table?
Woo hoo I’m having a great day now!!!
flowers float. the best way to do it is to fill the heart 1/2 way up place the flower on top wait about 1/2 the cure time of your resin to fill the mold the remaining way up that way you don't have a line in you resin showing the layers

Thanks Connie 😊
Love the dried flower molds!! I cannot wait to purchase one of your hearts!
Thankyou
I was literally coming to say make the qotd into a sign and you just beat me to it! Lol! ❤️

Use a label maker to put a "QOTD" label on the front of your vlog camera; you won't be able to forget.
The clovers are just proof that Courtney is a very lucky girl.
The torch could be what is causing the epoxy to stick the mold, another TH-camr I watch recommends only using a long neck lighter to remove the bubbles ( Steve McDonald )

Who sells the best molds (butterflies, hearts, etc)? 💜
Fresh flowers won't work in resin. I tried it once and they just get brown and nasty.
You can only use dried plant matter.
So good to see you again, Courtney!! ❤
Good to see Courtney is doing better.
Actually, you can eat all flowers. Only some flowers you can only eat once.
Hey, Ben Nicole and Courtney. It's great seeing you all creating resin art and spending time together. I love watching your channels. Ben, I have a question of the day. How did you come to make egg shapes as opposed to any other shapes? #QOTD.
❤️
I know exactly what you mean about the fly spray it happens to me every time as well so you are not alone lol😂
While Jacaranda flowers are not considered toxic to humans, they can cause mild gastrointestinal upset if ingested in large quantities. However, its flower is an important food source for birds and other wildlife
When I was a kid, there was a clover patch near home that produced loads of four-leafed clovers, so I guess it's genetic, and they breed them now.
Hi guy's, carry on being happy. Ben could you do a vlog on resin and what is best for what job? But I think you explain stuff in normal understanding language. Oh your pressed flowers you might have to tighten them up as the flower dries, to keep it flat. Take care.
Thanks Rose😊 yeah I’ll see what I can do
This was a great video. It was awesome to see Courtney doing more resin work. Her stuff looks amazing. Would you put a skeleton inside your frogs? #QOTD what is the most interesting custom order you have been asked to make since starting your Etsy shop?
I carry a laminated 4 leaf clover in my wallet as well. Found it when I got out of the car picking the kid up from school.
The new frogs almost look like gummies. *nom nom nom*
Courtney's Hearts turned out beautiful. I actually like the skull. That looks like something I would do. Hope you guys are doing well. Take care.😊
Oooo the signs in deep box frames with led lights behind would be awesome.
Got my frog yesterday everyone I've shown thinks it looks edible 😂
Thankyou! Maybe we should make chocolate ones 😋
@bensworxvlogs hehe maybe not myself and Nicole wouldn't be allowed to eat them 😢😂
I love frogs! What if you don’t fill the frog molds so full? Would they look even more like frogs 🐸?
I feel like a skull with a flower head would make a nice shift knob 🤔
i hope it worked... Ben it did not only work, it looks amazing! i really love those flowers inside that skull (and i normally don't like flowers lol), say to Courtney she did great and i hope to see her soon as well. the frogs looks good, but still quite wierd tho and the wings, oh boi the wings, the longer part goes outside otherwise they are backwards. i hope it helps to understand their way better XD
believe I've seen that you can get flower presses where you use the microwave, not anything I know anything about though
Ben you should do a calibration with your daughter and wife
A while ago (had to have been ...10yrs, at least...shoot, I'm getting old) I did an unofficial study. In that study I asked, "if you were a color, what color would you be?". I asked 200 random people. I found that 90% of people said that they would be blue. 🙄 And 3% said that they didn't understand the question 😂.
A man commenting on the size of another mans deck is too funny! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Love Courtney’s hearts they turned out great shame about the flowers in the skull. ❤❤
Ben im just as surprised about the 4 leaf clovers as well apparently we can grow our own luck now😂next year it will be 7 leaf clovers
😂
Still don't love the new frogs as much as the big ones. What about scanning one of your large frogs, and then printing them in smaller sizes, and then creating your own molds from that? Then they'd all match!
That's actually a great idea! I'm surprised they haven't already thought of that. I hope they do this!
That was a fun episode. So good to see Courtney doing well. I do have a question, though. How might one go about requesting a custom frog from you guys?
Thankyou! You can send me a message on Etsy ➡️ bensworx.etsy.com
Ben asking the important questions in life - “How do they learn that in 24 hours?” *holds up can of fly spray* 😂
😂
Wow I can't believe that whole dog in the thumbnail is made of resin!!!!
(i'm only having a laugh)
I really want some Jacaranda trees now. Lol. Unfortunatly I can't because they don't do well in the cold. I live in Minnesota and it can get down to -50F during winter. Such a bummer. Lol
🥶 that’s cold
You could have hung the wet jacaranda flowers with some thin wire just to see how they dried
Thankyou! I can give it a go and we can find out together 😊
@bensworxvlogs Thank you
