I knew a guy from Kenya and when he learned English he learned the accent. He spoke very good English with the correct English accent. What was funny is when he spoke to his African buddies he had that Kenyan accent.
I can't wait for the next twelve weeks. I am from Trinidad, that's in the Caribbean. Our native language is English, however accents And pronunciations are very different. I'm open for learning, because I am very intimidated to speak whilst around Americans. I reside in the US now and I'm ready for this journey. Thank you

Although there are a lot to point out in regards with your grammar, overall your English is well done (not medium rare ^_^ just kidding), knowing you only taught yourself. My only problem is that I cannot talk fluently and cannot come up with the word immediately so I have to take a pause. I am good at grammar and spelling, but not speaking. Maybe because I stutter when I speak because of nervousness. Well, practice makes perfect. Keep up the good work.

I took a course of English a few years ago and now I've been learning by myself I am going over everything I've learned and speaking is very hard for me I can't identify the schaw sound and the TH is a nightmare. I watch a lot of American tv shows over and over again I memorize the lines of the characters and repeat to sound like them. Someone told me to sing like the artists try to put the same entonation. English grammar is easy the problem are the PHRASAL VERBS and the Idiomatic expressions.To wrap up I liked the video a lot congratulations. I hope to improve my pronunciation with you guys.

American English is getting harder to understand, cause they really struggle with vowels and what some words really mean, like how they call trousers pants, or ass instead of arse, an ass is a donkey, and the vowels are ALL mispronounced, A is pronounced as an I or E, I is sometimes E, O is A almost allways, E sometimes is an I or A, and U is just a fucking free for all.

Besides, there is a lot of youtube channel out there who usually make hangout video with 4 or 5 people from different part of the world and upload it. But the problem is they usually discuss about a certain topics (like Alien, Extraterrestrial, Ancient Civilization, Different planet, Politics and so on)...so with my little knowledge I can't make that conversation long. And at the end I turn into a good listener. :-| There's some English speaking apps out there in app store, I tried with one. That was good, but that wasn't free. So after their free trial I have to move on. :-/

Not to brag or boast, we are the call center capital of the world and ranked first in terms of business English, we also have great numerous universities here for foreign students that offers English study. I was very bad at english when I first came here in united states I choke alot when I speak to someone.not until I get to practice it everyday on my part time job as a cashier I get to deal and talk with customers everyday with mostly English speakers and I think I'm getting better I feel confident in speaking. Thanks to my job. Btw great video very informative :)
