It's heeeerrreeee! I love the yearly planner lineup, and I hope you're excited, too! I'll have a digital planner lineup coming soon, and our yearly "Plan Your Writing Year" livestream is coming Saturday at 2PM Eastern!!! Let me know if you've decided on your planner system yet or not!
I did look at that one but I've been resisting using any hardcover style notebooks lately. For some reason I just don't reach for them. But if you're using it let us know what you end up thinking of it!
I love that so much!! I try to get out to write but it's harder when they are little. Now that Evie is getting older I'm planning a few hotel nights and it's so much fun!
Here’s a hack - cut a small slit at each of the six holes of ring inserts you’d like to more around and you can pull out and move around like a disc one! It’s been a gamer changer for me - means I can use my A5 6-ring planner and have the flexibility of discs!
I should've known a planner pro like you would already know all the tricks! 🤣❤@@HeartBreathings I have one A5 ring catch-all planner (which I've just tried to slim down a bit) but have been tempted to use my Cloth & Paper 2024 spiralbound planner (came in Nov's sub box) to track my writing goals thanks to you!
I am creating my own planner for 2024. I did a course on how to Create a printable planner. Now I need to start planning project Phoenix first before I can create the planner
I just bought your printable undated quarterly planner 3 days ago and my plan is to use it to figure out my goals and the tasks/task blocks associated. I then will transfer the "ideal week" with the task blocks to my hobonichi cousin weekly view and from there plan out my days in the hobo cousin daily pages. I find the pages with the week divided into task blocks from your planner extremely helpful. I also love that i now have a purpose for the hobo cousin weekly views. In the past i only ised the monthly and daily pages and had a weekly running to do list because i work from home and am therefore flexible with my schedule, but that was exactly the problem. Without a timeblock birds eye view of the week, my general weekly to do list was completely arbritary. I did not at all take the time i actually have available into account and i also did not plan a balance between work/family/personal/home. I really appreciate the work you have put into this planner, it has already helped me a lot!!!! I just actually want to start the first quarter right away - because i am so pumped. So i think i will just jstart now and add the 3 weeks of december to the first quarter next year.❤❤❤
I'm still new to this but have loved ❤ planning all My life. In 2023 I Just got a Blue Sky inkwell, for 2024 I just bought a Russell and Hazel planner, but I like some of the ones you showed.
Makselife is the truth. I've been using it for about 3 years now and I love it. It'll give you a good perspective on your life and where you want it to go... love it. This year I'm strictly using the companions because I couldn't really find a use for the weeks. Plus with the companions you can easily incorporate into your planning system already in use. Plus... if my husband saw one more planner come thru the door he'd lose it 😂
I am so excited for 2024...my planner lineup is set! I am using the MakseLife for my personal goals and weekly planner, HB90 for my business goals, the PlanwithLaken Goals Planner for 2024 goal prep/breakdown/quarterly goals for personal, I got the Sterling Ink 5 yr journal, I have a 2024 daily Hemlock and Oak for my Tarot journal and I created daily inserts for a half letter disc planner. The daily goes with me and is totally my functional everyday planner. I have the Chasing Simple Content Planner and Asana for my business stuff as well. So far I am liking my systems and I can't wait for 1/1 to start using everything!!!
Just a quick suggestion: if you make one snip at each hole, you can easily put pages into and out of your binder as if it were a disc-bound planner. That’s what I do with my binder inserts. Great video, thanks for sharing.😊
I watched the whole video. Enjoyed it.This year I’m using notebooks. I’ve always planners but I never stay consistent the whole year. Still deciding on what I plain on keeping up with. Something new and different.
Suggestion for the 2nd page in the 5-year planner, next year, when you're on the 5th year, after filling out the journal for that day, look through the five years for that day and use the 2nd page to journal about the changes across the years for that day and where you hope to be the next year?
Have you looked at an A5 Hybrid by The Penny Pages? You can pick from a few different options for a weekly and also daily layouts. Then you have your monthly, a weekly, and then 7 dailies; then a weekly and 7 dailies; etc. I love her planners.
I love watching this video and enjoyed watching your channel so I am a new subscriber. I have Lupus and am ADHD who is an entrepreneur who since been diagnosed with Lupus been having issues with organizing and planning my life on daily basis, etc. has been difficult while as having ADHD. So I find myself struggling with staying consistently on task to accomplish completing tasks and goals in my life. I just tuned 50 years old last month and I decided to not give up and find the best method of planning and journaling to help me stay consistent in areas of my life. Watching this video I took notes that I believed would definitely help me and make me feel I have completed a task one task at time to reach short and long term goals with finding best planning and journaling method that best works for me and you helped me so much with ideals that will help me. Thanks for posting and sharing this video that was meant for me to see. May you and your family be blessed and sorry for the long comment. lol!!😂❤
I stayed till the end! In fairness I’m doing laundry and listening more than watching but I really enjoyed it! I love hearing about how people think about organizing their lives. Thank you for sharing!
I am going to add the Hobinichi 5 year next year. I am going to write on the left side of the pages and my husband is going to write on the left. So we have both of our impressions of the day.
I think you have a beautiful system, and I’m sure it works for you, but I am so overwhelmed watching this. I don’t even know where to begin, and I wouldn’t even know how to manage so many planners. I don’t know if it’s in the plan of world we just felt like we needed a planner for everything. I don’t know. But I just feel stressed. Trying to imagine how I’m going to manage my life like this. It just seems like it’s a lot.
There's no need to use multiple planners if it overwhelms you! I have never said anyone should do it like I do. I'm just sharing my personal preferences and joy.
Made it to the end. It’s a lot of planners. To much for me to use, understand why cuteness works to buy them. It does take discipline to use what you need. I will keep with using binders as I can do creative pages, themed pages, which would be difficult to do in an Erin Condren or spiral binder. I find it difficult to have the space for all the sticker books. Art pages make it easier to do photocopies and to create my planners. Vintage typewriter a plus.
📔📔📔 I always stay until the end! I'm going to be using a classic Happy Planner for HB90. I'm doing a tarot, morning pages, commonplacebook, and writing notebook (ideas) in four individual noteboooks in an Erin Condren folio. Another planner I will be using I bought during black Friday on Amazon. It's called a Law of Attraction planner. It's gorgeous. It's black with a witchy moon phases image on the cover in gold. Vegan cover with gold edged pages, and the paper is really nice too...and it has a slipcover for storing. Plus, my plotting planner is a big Happy Planner which I keep inside a deluxe HP cover. Can't wait for plan your writing year on Saturday!
Still using Franklin Planner (Compact size). Have just added the Monarch (3 ring binder size). Have been designing pages so I can save money & be specific: have to track more health things (3 bad heart valves, irregular HB, high BP, arthritis & sometimes gout). Still working on ancestry stuff, but my son will probably publish it so need details and memories.
I started watching this after 1:30 am and thought I'd probably watch 20 minutes or so tonight and then catch the rest during the day. Nope. I watched it all. For the past several years I've used the Full Focus Planner from Michael Hyatt & Co for basically everything except my journalling and daily gratitudes. Overall, it's a great system if you like 4 hard cover books per year. The paper is thick, there's a bunch of goal planning space, a 2 page monthly calendar spread, then 2 pages per day (one hourly, big 3 items, etc and the other notes), weekly review, and a quarterly one at the end. However, what has constantly driven me crazy is that it's a true *Monday* start throughout (including the calendar pages) and I'm totally a true *Sunday* start girl! I decided to branch out a bit for 2024. I have your HB90 undated, which I started using in Q4 as letter size in a regular 1" 3 ring binder (okay, it's all sparkly), bought some HP stickers and an HP mini dashboard, and have an ARC discbound system from Staples with coloured dividers and note pages (roughly A5 size, I guess) that I never really made use of. I've always had work and personal together, with different colour pens but I got a great educator's agenda (18 month) from a partner organization that I'm using for work and finally settled on an A5 rings from EC for my main catchall planner. I kept the monthly calendars, the note pages, and the "currently" or monthly dashboard from the EC and took out all the dated Monday start pages, then taped some of the pages together to hide remaining weekly pages. Instead, your HB90 is going in there. My journal is still for journalling and gratitudes. The HP mini is going to be for meal planning and I'll redate it all. It will stay in the kitchen. The ARC dividers will catch cleaning routines, collections/lists that I want access to long-term, gaming, errands, and financial stuff. I feel like it's a *lot* of planners but I hope it will work for me. It's 3:20 am though and I have to get up at 7:15 am. If I get much less than 3.5 hours, I'll be tired all day.
I made it to the end and i'm not even a planner lol i have a single table planner to put my stuff into and that's enough for me. This is just such a cozy little chatty video, it was relaxing to play in the background as i do some character development on my nano story that i'm still working on.
Planner day is my favorite day! I sat here setting up my new Hobonichi cousin (first time using one--I'm already in love). And huzzah to Monday quarter starts!!! ❤
I think this will be the first year I use several planners. One for HB90, another for Book Edits, another for publishing, another for book 2 in my series, and a whole binded notebook with all my research/notes/etc
"I don not like them, Sarrah I am" - I totally agree about wire-O bindings. Unfortunately, I have a few that I tolerate because of the contents or wanting to support the company.
I will be using the Ashley Shelly x Amanda'sFavorites collab calendar to track my health status such as my blood pressure. It is the perfect size to place in the basket with my BP cuff, pulse ox, and the meal tracker so help watch how my diet effects my blood pressure.
Good morning, Sarra I just want to reach through the screen and pet all those pretty planners in the beginning scroll LOL I'll be setting my planners up next week - all 10! A Lot of people don't understand the thought process behind multiple planners. You and I work on a compartmentalized system. I look at each planner like a file system. Then as I need the items from each one, I move them to my HB90 weekly/daily. I do have one 6-ring personal for my 6M4L. I know what is on each day so as part of my PM routine, I'd check off what I know I followed through on. I didn't realize the box stickers fit in the columns. Thank you! Hugs & Creative Blessings!
Wow. You’ve really changed things up for next year: Plum Paper, Makselife, Ashley Shelley…I love it. Hope it all works out for you. I’ll be using an EC vertical (as my weekly overview set up), and Planner Perfect monthly planners as my daily pages. I pick the size and designs I like and it makes me so happy. I use 2 Hobo Weeks, one as my wellness journal, tracking meals, movement, water etc, and the other is my gratitude and manifestation journal. My last planner is a Hobo A6 Planner - the page size is perfect for a daily journal, not too big, not too small. And I’ll be using the monthly calendar to track my fun - I want to spend one hour a day doing something that’s fun and brings me joy.
Haven't even started this video yet but when I saw this pop up seconds ago..... Girl I was like drop everything I gotta watch this no one bother me for an hour lmfao 🤣🥰📔📚
❤❤❤I made it to the end. I got so many ideas.. I’m still working out my planners for next year. I love the Writual Planner. I’m new to tarot and used that planner this past year. I’m glad to see you trying it out.
Of course we stayed to the end! We love hearing about all your planners and seeing how beautiful they all are. 💕💕 I use HB90 and Levenger's Junior daily planner.
im using a planner earnestly for the first time since school and went with a happy planner! im using it for daily habits because i need them on the day of in the weekly section rather than a whole monthly habit tracker. I've also set up a video game review journal, and a regular bullet journal(:
This is my first year using the Mekselife planner. I love it and I'm sure you will too. This is my first video of your that I have watched. I have enjoyed it a lot. And I subscribed.
Well, I thought I had my planner system all worked out (B6 Common Planner for HB90 so I don't print pages and Weeks Common Planner for EDC), but after watching your video, I'm rethinking things. I do like the idea of the HP for HB90. I'm going to be working on my own Ream subscription next year so having bigger pages to write on and keep my writing goals all in one planner sounds like a great idea, but now the question becomes--what do I do the two common planners? One will definitely be for EDC, but which one? Decisions, decisions...
📒 I loved this video! I ordered two Plum Paper planners on Black Friday and they just came in…. Why does it make me so happy?!?!? I just LOVE them!!! 😍
I've been looking at a Writual Planner. Youll have to let us know if you like it. I ordered my main 2024 planner from Plum Paper, customized as well. Mine is disc too bc I just prefer them. I'm trying A5 size this time. This year I was in a happy planner size. I'll be using the HB90 system for my goals planning & I'll crossover btwn the two as needed.
The Writual Planner! Love it. This is my 3rd year using it. Love it for the full moon and new moon spreads. Also the monthly spreads. So many interesting ideas in this video. Thanks for sharing.
This is one of my favorite videos each year! I’m definitely wanting to see a haul video of all the sticker goodness. I’m also interested in the HB private group subscription. ❤
Even though I pretty much just use my HB90 planner and 1 monthly goal planner now, I still enjoy these videos. I hope you show us a video of these in action sometime early next year!
📒 I made it to the end! You are such an inspiration for my writing career and my personal life! I resonate with you so much 🥰 I am going to have 2 planners this year, a personal one for my health and fitness goals, and a career one for all my writing goals! I am so excited! This year WILL be the year that I publish my first book! Thank you for all the videos you make, I love them! 📚❤️
So glad you're giving Writual Planner a try! I have the three-card spread book. This will be my third using this planner and absolutely LOVE this planner. I love the stamps! I bought 1.5 inch acrylic squares off of Amazon, so each stamp has it's own backing. I used my small labeler to mark each stamp. I put all of these in a snack pack container. (Like the celery stick and carrot and dressing size for a lunch box.) It's absolutely perfect. I love the new and full moon spreads as well.
Such an amazing video, thank you!!! I’m really interested in the Writual planner! I have the Astrolab planner for the planets and stars, and I thought about incorporating a tarot journal into that or a Sterling Ink planner for rituals and witchy readings/spiritual reflections, but I love the idea of a dedicated tarot journal with the structure and spreads already there! Also, for the end: 💚📚☺️
So excited!! As a multi planner gal I watch this video from you every year (for @ least 4 years now). Going to grab some popcorn now and get comfy to finish the video. 😊
Oh I really like these new planners. Can you do a tutorial example of filling out a page & how to for the Tarot? That looks really cool but not sure I fully understand how to utilize it? also a tutorial on MLife new planner? Thanks so much for great ideas
I’ve realized this year that I need my planners/to do lists separated because it I open a planner or app and see ALLLL the to-dos, I get overwhelmed. I have one habit tracker that I use as my sort of “home base” that’s just a few basic things I want to do daily, and then everything else I have been using a different system by category (example, I have a spreadsheet+planner system for studies, an app for cleaning, and all my work stuff lives in my work laptop). I used to try to put everything all in one place but it just never worked. I’m still experimenting with how to organize some other things; I need to work on my health with exercise and food so I have some ideas I’m excited to try in 2024.
📓📒❤ loved my first video of yours. I'm glad this rabbit hole led me to your channel. So many planners so little time! I can't wait to see what you do next. I'm new to the planner world and need all the help I can get lol ❤😊😂
Planner season. Yaay🎉 It's the most wonderful time of the year. Of course I made it to the end of the video. 🤗 I will be in 9 planners in 2024 (if all goes well 😂)
Thought for the adorable passport: take that with you to all your babes' activities. Take notes/journal/milestones of them and their activities along with notes about how much they like the activity and you and George enjoy seeing their growth.
I love your videos so much. I watch all of them. You are definitely a role model of mine. Keep up the good work and always keep up with being peaceful and happy. Happy Holidays!!!
I always enjoy watching your planner lineup videos. I'm using the horizontal makesilife for my goals. I won't be using it as my main planner but I will use it to write what I do each day to complete my goals. I figured the horizontal would give me the room needed to reflect on my daily goals. Love your channel!💜💜
Oh my gosh!!!! I’ve been WAITINGGGGGGG (patiently 😂) IT DIDNT DISAPPOINT. ❤❤❤❤Thank you!!!!
My 2022 was an HB90 undated. 2023 is a bullet journal. 2024 will be an HB90 undated again. Love it too much. I like the daily separations 😊
This is one of the reasons why it’s the happiest time of year!!
Couldn't agree more!!!
You should have gotten a hemlock and oak. I am using 15 planner this year
I did look at that one but I've been resisting using any hardcover style notebooks lately. For some reason I just don't reach for them. But if you're using it let us know what you end up thinking of it!
when I had kids at home I used to spend the night at a hotel once per month and work on my planner and have quiet time. It was wonderful!
Such a good idea! I did that for a while with list inserts, but I still find the A5 is taking up too much desk room!
I stayed to the end. Can't wait for HB90! 2024 is going to be my year! Thanks to you and your system and commitment to us! ❤
OMGosh, I'd LOVE to see you do a vid on Sticker Haul! There are so many great sticker co's but I always love to see more!
Of course I made it to the end!!! Planner talk is my jam! I would absolutely subscribe to a mastermind group with you! Can't wait for Saturday!!💜💜💜
Yes please on the sticker haul.
Yay, extra long videos are good for my soul ❤😂 📓
I am creating my own planner for 2024. I did a course on how to Create a printable planner. Now I need to start planning project Phoenix first before I can create the planner
So fun!!
Can you name the course you took? TIA.

🌺I'll always be here! Thanks. Will see you on Saturday...
It's so helpful to see how multiple planners can be used in an intentional way. 📔

“Multi-planner user” LOL!!!! Love it so much! I am fully owning that description!!! Multi planner girls unite!! 😂😂❤️❤️📒📒
I think this will be the first year I use several planners. One for HB90, another for Book Edits, another for publishing, another for book 2 in my series, and a whole binded notebook with all my research/notes/etc
Love it! So helpful to separate them out!
📓📓. I LOVE Plum Paper Planners. They served me so well when I was still working behind the chair as a stylist.💕
📒🗒️📝📑 yep. Awesome Job!
I am waiting for my bullet journal to come in the mail. I can't wait for the journal challenge video! I always love that!
I’m so busy at work that setting up my 2024 planners will be my reward once the conferences are done! ❤
📑 I'm excited to have found you. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you!
Welcome!!
Yes I made it to the end. I loved your video. I will be watching more.😍
Thank you!!!
"I don not like them, Sarrah I am" - I totally agree about wire-O bindings. Unfortunately, I have a few that I tolerate because of the contents or wanting to support the company.
Yes agree!i really want to try the Laurel Denise planner since it's so unique but only comes in wireo!
I will be using the Ashley Shelly x Amanda'sFavorites collab calendar to track my health status such as my blood pressure. It is the perfect size to place in the basket with my BP cuff, pulse ox, and the meal tracker so help watch how my diet effects my blood pressure.
Good morning, Sarra
I just want to reach through the screen and pet all those pretty planners in the beginning scroll LOL
I'll be setting my planners up next week - all 10!
That's such a great way to think of it! Wow!
Really enjoyed your video. Great info, inspiring, and just fun! Thank you!
All the way to the end! 🥰🗒️📓
😂love it!
❤❤❤I made it to the end. I got so many ideas.. I’m still working out my planners for next year. I love the Writual Planner. I’m new to tarot and used that planner this past year. I’m glad to see you trying it out.
Definitely very interested on watching how you set up your Poketo one (Pretty please with all the cherries on top
Of course we stayed to the end! We love hearing about all your planners and seeing how beautiful they all are. 💕💕 I use HB90 and Levenger's Junior daily planner.
Love all the planner talk! Looking forward to your digital and Notion walk through. 😍😍😍
oh my geeee I am a planner mom who loves planners and I keep changing but it's my job to plan and write !st time here Hello everyone
Welcome!!!
im using a planner earnestly for the first time since school and went with a happy planner! im using it for daily habits because i need them on the day of in the weekly section rather than a whole monthly habit tracker. I've also set up a video game review journal, and a regular bullet journal(:
🖊📖 Of course I stayed till the end. 🤣 Besides, I appreciate your feedback on these planners and showing us new planning systems. 💜
Going back to rewatch. And tell myself - 'you know that's not your style!'. Love the Plum Paper customization - but would I actually use it?
It's a slippery slope, isn't it? It's always so tempting even if you know you won't use it to its full potential!
So excited you're going into a Happy Planner. I love mine and am excited to see allll your accessories. I am all about my witchy discs.
Witchy discs? Please do share
I stayed until the end:) it was relaxing and I quite enjoyed it. It felt as if I was listening to a friend talk about her plans🤗
📒 I loved this video! I ordered two Plum Paper planners on Black Friday and they just came in…. Why does it make me so happy?!?!? I just LOVE them!!! 😍
You’ve done it again! So many great ideas for planners and life organization. Cheers to the possibilities in 2024!!
I have been looking forward to this video from you!
Love these planners and notebooks. Looking forward to HB90 this round and the yearly writing plan! 📓💗
I love the idea of the Ta Da! Planner. I love the mindset one would use to keep that sort of planner.
I've been looking at a Writual Planner. Youll have to let us know if you like it. I ordered my main 2024 planner from Plum Paper, customized as well. Mine is disc too bc I just prefer them. I'm trying A5 size this time. This year I was in a happy planner size. I'll be using the HB90 system for my goals planning & I'll crossover btwn the two as needed.
yesss to a subscription for extra heart breathing things ❤
The Writual Planner! Love it. This is my 3rd year using it. Love it for the full moon and new moon spreads. Also the monthly spreads. So many interesting ideas in this video. Thanks for sharing.
This is one of my favorite videos each year! I’m definitely wanting to see a haul video of all the sticker goodness. I’m also interested in the HB private group subscription. ❤
📒 Planner setup videos are so helpful for me- I haven't found what works for me, so it's nice to see variations of what you're doing. Thank you❤
Even though I pretty much just use my HB90 planner and 1 monthly goal planner now, I still enjoy these videos.
I'm really interested in the Heart Breathings subscription. Would def join.
Excited to see a MakseLife in your stack this year! I hope you love it!
📚📖📕📗📔📘📙📓📒 I'm so excited to see that you're using discs! I am a lefty, and rings just don't work for me. I have so many disc bits, and love them all.
Thank you so much for hanging out with me all these years!! It means so much to me!
Yes, this is one of my favorite annual videos too💕✨️
Oh I really like these new planners.
Count me in for the heart breathings master mind thing!
Loved this! I would definitely subscribe for Master Classes and additional content. Thank you for all that you do!
Thank you for that feedback!
📓📒❤ loved my first video of yours. I'm glad this rabbit hole led me to your channel. So many planners so little time! I can't wait to see what you do next. I'm new to the planner world and need all the help I can get lol ❤😊😂
I made it to the end! No planner video is too long, imho. Would also love to see a sticker haul video!
Planner season. Yaay🎉 It's the most wonderful time of the year. Of course I made it to the end of the video. 🤗 I will be in 9 planners in 2024 (if all goes well 😂)
My kids are grown my youngest does a lot of journaling & does grats, my eldest gaave me a joy / grats journal for Christmas last year.
I love using a Happy Planner for my HB90 planner sheets.
