Can I still get 12bit raw with my shogun inferno?

Hi Brandon, here is a reply from Ian, one of our tech specialists: Atomos Inferno supports RAW recording from the FS7. However, only in ProRes RAW and 10 bit. Hope that helps! If you have any follow up questions, feel free to reach out directly at techsupport[@]abelcine[.]com

Can I also record RAW to an Atomos Shogun?

Here is a reply from Corey, one of our tech specialists:
The latest version of the Shogun firmware (AtomOS V6.6) supports FS RAW to ProRes or DNxHD, as well as a new beta release of FS RAW to Cinema DNG. It should be noted that Atomos has warned against using this beta feature in any kind of commercial environment as bugs are still present.

So with the XDCA I can record raw 4k to an Odyssey7Q recorder without having to pay extra money for the license fee?

Carl Silva Here is a response from Andrew F, one of our tech specialists:
Sorry for any confusion regarding the Odyssey 7Q raw option but you will need to purchase the permanent license $995 Odyssey Raw bundle in order to record Raw 2K or 4K from an FS7. This is a $995 upgrade and includes Raw support for Arri Alexa Arri Raw, Canon C500/C300Mkii,IndieCam POV Raw, and AJA Cion Raw is coming soon.
There is also a Daily rental option just for the Sony FS7/FS700 that is $99 per day that can be purchased directly on the Convergent Design site here: convergent-design.com/products/odyssey-raw.html
      Hope that helps!

Do the camera's SDI outputs still work with the raw module installed? Is it possible to send raw 4k throurgh the raw module onto a recorder and still be able to output through the camera's SDI?

Here's a response from Megan one of our tech specialists:
Yes, while you have the Sony XDCA-FS7 attached to the FS7, the HD-SDI output on the extension unit will output RAW, while the regular HD-SDI outputs on the camera body will output 1080p 4:2:2 (traditional video signal).

I have the Atomos Shogun, but I have a terrible image from the FS7, everytime when I try to film in Raw, so I am trying to find out why this happens. It only works better in outdoors... But when I see the shadows, it looks so washed up...!!!! So my questions is... what can I do? Is there a licence like de Odyssey that I should buy? I already downloaded all the firmwares..

Here is a response from Corey, one of our technical specialists: It sounds like you may not have a LUT applied on the Shogun, which means you're viewing the flat, log image. This is normal, if you press the yellow icon in the bottom right corner of the monitor it should bring you to the monitor settings menu where you can adjust the look. Remember, this is just for monitoring, you will still be capturing the log image for maximum flexibility in post.
