@alexrain1188 The “halo” is the psycho interface module for when the pilots “synchronize” their thought patterns for power management purposes to aid in the use of individual special abilities in conjunction to operation of Dangioh, however, they must think and cooperate in harmony in order to use Dangioh effectively! Any disunity during combat situations (just as what happened to the team piloting the Isam 3 hyper combat mecha, who were killed in the final seconds of the confrontation with Dangioh during the tail end of the 2nd OVA) could spell death for the entire team!
Such a sad ending and a very nice trip down memory lane... This was the first anime I saw way back when I was in high school that blew me away. I remember seeing this and not believing something that cool could’ve been made. Such a shame they didn’t continue the series properly. In the end, the bad guys won... very ballsy.
@@Germania9 they didn’t run out of money, the writers and creator admitted they wrote themselves into a corner, and by the time they figured out how to continue the story and plot, it was too late as Dangaioh was shelved for other projects.
So sad that instead of reviving the old Dangaioh team, they went with the sh*tty ass G Dangaioh which totally piss on the greatness and uniquness of the original. This series has so many promising factors, with great mecha design, unique pilots and attacks. So sad that they decided to end it in just 3 episodes OVA, with such a gritty and unsatisfactory ending as well.
I agree, dude. G Dangaioh is less of a true sequel, and more like a bad fanfiction that shits on the legacy of what came before it. Dangaioh deserves better. Mia is in the sequel. But so far, she's the only survivor. And nobody from the original series ever returns.

And the Dangaioh team might've had a chance to defeat Captain Garimoth& the surviving members of the evil Bunkers. (Plus, Dr. Tarsan wouldn't have to get himself killed trying to save the team.)

Don't worry Dangaioh retun back to earth new extra story on Iron Saga Game. It fix itself using material on space and many human forget what Dangaioh is because it past more than 400 years I belive and war of mech raging more than hundred of years
I just looked up the game and saw some screenshots. Apparently Masami Obari (the mech designer for Dangaio) made a bunch of mecha designs for the game. I might have to look into this. It's on the Google Play Store too.
Ok one thing ill never understand is, that in the sequel to Dangaio, you only see a cameo of one of the four Dangaio pilot, but they never explain what happen to the other 3. Any one got info on this???
From what I have heard, both Dangaio and Great Dangaio were never finished because they ran out of funding to finish both shows. So they never got around to explaining what happened to the other three pilots.
+Annusya Pipi There is no such OVA. Dangaioh only had 3 parts and that was it. With only small references being made in the follow up Great Dangaioh which also ended on a similar ending.
