Thanks, how are the HID's temperature wise? I plan to upgrade the cheap 'test' LED's to a higher wattage unit and am concerned about temperature in the headlight enclosure.
@@pescado99 I have no idea on temperature but i believe they came as standard on the car (197) so I'm guessing it's all safe. I've had it 7 or 8 years and never had a problem so 🤷
Yeah, it's a pain all right. If you pull the reservoir backwards (removing the little plastic pin plug - which will pop out), you get a few more cm to work in.
Did mine today the side lights and it was an absolute ******** to do. Took me an hour to do 😂😂 and successfully managed my 10 mil socket to Narnia, never to be seen again 🤦🏿♂️. Least I've got fully functioning lights now after all that.
Sorry to hear this. Not sure why you needed a 10 mm socket. This is now my 3rd globe change and I've refined this method - it was a horror show the first time, but I found my method has each side done in under 15 minutes.
Jokes aside.. I spent a few years in Australia (I'm German) and I'm pretty sure I didn't see a single French car over there. Are there a lot of them? I recently bought and older Clio that's why stumbled over your video. Nice video. Cheers mate.
Hi, these are ones I bought: www.ebay.com.au/itm/404320360130 They are OK, but not nearly as bright as advertised. Basically they're better than the OEM 55w halogen, but not by much. I'm planning on buy some more 'proper' LED globes for the Clio and will post when done. Cheers
garages tell u u cant do this with out removing front bumper and light but it can b done as this video shows-i do it slightly differant-the drivers side has less room than near side but a little bit of patience and it can b achieved----my neighbour in ireland here was told shed need to leave car in to get 2 headlight bulbs replaced as lights need removed--cost-2 bulbs £12 sterling-£50 labour-i took her 2 car supplies 2 H7 BULBS £7-TOOK ME 15 MINS job done- no charge-=-it pays to look things like this up on youtube
Thank you for posting this video! I genuinely got a buzz from doing this task independently 😅
Great stuff, love getting feedback like this.
Cheers for the video! The last time i attempted to do a bulb change the retaining spring fell down into the headlight assembly, lol.
Very handy video, i had myne done by a garage as unfortunately it has xeon Hids and it wasnt possible without taking the bumper off and headlight out.

That's great. Just watched a vid. before yours, the guy took nearly half the car to bits to do that. Cheers from England.
A pleasure. You are driving one of the greatest cars ever made!
Very handy video, thanks! What is the wire in front of the rubber cap at the beginning?
I'm not sure. It's obviously part of the factory wiring harness. Quick update, 5 months later and these el-cheapo LED's are still going strong!
Just attempting to do mine, for what it's worth the screen filler pipe extension just pulls off giving you more room.
@@eyesodd thanks, good tip 👍
"The water bottle is in the way; nothing you can do about that" 😂😂😂😂😂

@@pescado99 Handy tip, once the plastic clip is removed you can pull the funnel out completely. It's just a push fit back into the main bottle 🤟

Nah don't be sorry man it's cool. I followed the video following things. Least I've got functioning lights 🤣
They have Clios in Australia?? 🤔 Never knew..
I know right, and electricity too. But watch the Kangaroos in the main street in Sydney, they'll get you!
@@pescado99 Kangoos or Kangaroos? 🤔

Great tip. Mate, do you have the link from where you purchased the bulbs?

Yes, small hands are a bonus as well as patience. Glad you found it helpful!
Maan just take the bumper off much easier
Dude, this method takes me 5 minutes..
