1:51:38 That's one of the main reasons jake was dropped he doesn't talk, everyone was defending him when he got canned and now look the proof is literally there.
Keep in mind Jake's got COVID here, so yeah. Depending on how bad or progressed it is, the guy might not even feel well enough to play these games. Also, most people were defending him because of the sleazy way in which he got booted from Warriors, not the boot itself. Also keep in mind that the Warriors are actually worse off without Jake. Stats speak for themselves. Even if he wasn't that communicative, I think he fit the Warriors much better than Genetics does. Also, you can say what you want about Jake, but the fact of the matter is that other than Kyrmi, no one on the Glads is even worth the SPL spot, at least up until now. There are so many players in the SCC much better than most of the Glads. And yes, I am including Snoopy, too. His positioning and decision-making was some of the worst in his role when he was in mid-lane and sadly this didn't change upon transitioning to ADC. It's good they ditched Stu, but I'm not sure Jangaru is gonna help them too much.
@@cornoratu There's no way you believe the warriors are worse with genetics. No way. The only reason the warriors were that great at the start of the season was because the map was still new, the pros were still getting used to it, and there wasn't a clear meta/way to play the map. So the warriors were diffing everyone with their better mechanics. That's all. But this will only take you so far, until the other teams catch up, which they did. The warriors with Jake would have no chance of winning worlds, whereas right now they most definitely can. And don't forget that the meta at that time favoured jake's god pool a lot. Now with mage support being worse, jake fell off even more. Micro play (ie mechanics) will only take you so far, compared to macro play. There's a reason shotcalling is considered so important in the spl, and team wants a good shotcaller. Even in my ranked game shotcalling is really important. Whenever my team all have mics, we usually win. It's just much more easy to play when everyone it talking and relaying information, which Jake doesn't do. Jake was getting carried by his team, and you know it. Just look at him now in this match, does he look like a good support? Yes a support will only look as good as his team, but there are plays which are clearly him inting. Genetics is just better, has a better god pool, and is a better shotcaller, which is something the warriors wanted from their support. The only reason Jake was the best support at the time is because his god pool, which is niche, happened to be meta, and he had a great team around him.
