Hello. This braid is created with only 2 rows, different to Latvian braids. Purling is done in the opposite colour so that the floats created in this row on the right side create the bottom half of the braid and the purl bump the top half. If you purl in the matching colour you will make an Estonian twisted braid or half of a Latvian braid which is a bigger braid.

Dear aleks, after the set up row you purl with the opposite colour. Why not not the matching colour? And: do you need a 3. round?
