I bet Diggy is a great 2 yr old now! keep it POSITIVE and let your little boy TRUST you to be the safest place in the world! They are such a wonderful little terriers!

What a character he looks, hope you give him many new experiences while he is so young, you and twig will be great with him.
we are trying to do as much as we can!! lots of different sounds, hoovering, mopping, loads of people meeting, paddling in water in the bath, you name it hes experiencing it, we know we have a short window of him being a puppy to get him confident :-)
........and the worlds cutest puppy award go's to......DIGGY DOG! Love watching the lil one drag the stuff animal around the floor. LOL. Great find...LOL. Congrats.

Dawn...I've had a busy summer and I'm afraid I've been neglecting my youtube...so imagine my delight when I go to your site and see this guy....sweet, sweet, sweet.....Congratulations....I know you all will have heaps of fun togeather, and I'm happy to hear that sweeps has welcomed the little guy in also...can't wait to see him out on the moors!!!

Aww. Reminds me of when we brought our Border, Jack home. Then Midge 3 years later. They're 9 and 6 years old respectively now. But as wonderful as ever. Border Terriers are the best breed ever! People dogs who just want to have loadsa fun!

yes we have been doing, and today he has done ALL his wee's and poos outside!! He has also learned to sit and started to lie down!!

So do we, we have made him a dog tag out of a silver French franc I dug up last year, we smoothed one side down and had it engraved with his name, so he should know what to be sniffing for!!!

Hope he had all his parvo vaccinations. we lost a puppy dog because the seller didn't get him all his shots. Was heartbreaking to go through. Glad he has a loving home.
He had his first injections before we picked him up and he is due his 2nd lot on 4th Dec. I am very aware of the dangers of Parvo thats why we havent been out digging, Diggys health comes first, youtube can wait a couple of weeks, we have only let him run round the garden, rest of the time we carry him :-)

Adorable! My Great Dane joins me out detecting sometimes and he has the routine down hangs out behind me so i can swing and and lays down and watches when i'm digging. Also helps to have him along if i'm in an area with possible shady characters!
we are going to train him so he can come out on all digs with us, and behave like your dog does!

GEEEE WIZ you guys! Precious little guy right there. I've made it my business dealing with high energy dogs for over 25 years now. Let me be one of the first to predict that you will have your hands very full in the years to come :). Makes for a great video but may I kindly suggest you moderate the stimulation just a tad? You reap what you sow!
Thanks for the advice!! He does like super turbo in the video, but this is a weeks filming of all his mad hours, it gives the impression that hes crazy, but he isnt as bad as you are thinking :-)
My oldest Border was like that as a pup. He "grew up" on his 3rd birthday and decided he didn't like to go out in the rain or hot weather. He much prefers looking out of the window watching the world go by, sitting on my knee watching TV or curling up on the sofa having a good snooze!
Diggy is 2 now and the best dog you could ever have. He's well behaved listens to commands and is friendly to both people and dogs. I walk him at least 5k everyday and he's perfect in every way. Not hard work in anyway :-)

he is not in the slightest aggressive! he is being trained well, those were tiny snapshots from over a week! He already responds to sit, lie down and come! :-) Hes a completely soft baby :-)

whats whelping a dog? You Ozzies have some strange words ha Hes semi house trained, he goes out now after a sleep. after food, he does his poos, and wees but sometimes does a wee accident in the house but hes getting much better. Sweep has got a new hat a scarf set and is happy and still involved ... dont worry Uncle Yakka you will see him ;-)
When a bitch gives birth it is called whelping dear. Geeeez.! Twiggy is taken by him already. The only sight of that rag dog I what too see is it getting used to wash a very muddy car. Uncle my foot. Now if you use that pup as an excuse not to detect, your for the chop. Now behave when your out in public.
whelping is making sure the time frame is correct when you remove the pup from it's mother, usually 8 weeks for a healthy pup. longer for the runt sometimes, and any that are not completely healthy to acquire more milk from mom. hard yakka, your not only condescending, but wrong.

Where is the Tuesday detecting video? I saw a wildlife show but no detecting. This how it is going to be now. your child taking up all the video time ? :( I could get three good crab pot baits out of that dog.
back to normal next week!! We couldnt get out because the weather was freezing and snowing, sleeting and very windy!! Sweep cant wait to play in the fields with Diggy while me and Twiggy are finding treasure ;-)
a wee bit of cool and you go to water. that pup, shave it's face and you will find twiggy under there LOL. I see sweep again it better be being used as a rag on something.
