Alberto you should do a Q and A about where your from and how you got into cars! Like so Big Boost can see this!!
John Gaspard I was about to comment the same thing
John Gaspard I'm almost certain Alberto might be from PR. need to say more? PR has the best minds in the world when it comes to cars.
god damn Rotary magicians!
He's Dominican. Don't disrespect him like that, all the Caribbean has great motor minds. Cuba, DR, PR all have amazing drivers, domestic events and all types of car culture and scenes.
David Garden He's not Dominican, he's said he's Puerto Rican
It's so rare to see a mechanic I want to work with I usually like to be left alone where possible, very refreshing to watch someone knowledgable and chilled out, I'm glad you're doing so well, the money will come, it couldn't of happened to a nicer guy! Maybe I'll give this you tube thing a bash one day never know we could be working together on something 👍
Officially, the best car channel on TH-cam. It's like carguy ASMR with high quality video.
Yo I have so much respect for you BIG BOOST you only started a few months ago and the quality of your editing/videos in general is so good, better than most. Good work!
I like how we can see his evolution of video making, each video he makes better shots during filming & makes better edits, he added background music this time, lots more slick than his earlier ones. One thing, you fitted that gauge, but you cant see it when its fitted?
super excited to see you drive your car Alberto. You deserve to finally get to have some fun like everyone else you help.
I would say your the best mechanic on TH-cam you actually do work and show how it's done
so how are you going to be able to read the gauge on your fuel pressure regulator?
Dave hey at least it's right side up lol
Cory Unferferth I mean if there is no need to see the gauge why not just plug the pole
He just has to use a small flex mirror to set it and change it.
Dave with his eyes duh....
he should've ran a hose off of it and mounted it in the dash
I love watching your videos because everything you do is the correct way and how you explain everything really really helps! This was my favorite video so far! I've learned so much watching your content keep it up Big Boost!
Great job with the editing in this video bro
Big Boost killin' it! Thanks another detailed video!
Dude I'm hyped to hear this boosted I6 rippin with adam Lz. Keep up the work big boost!!!!
YO! Are you gonna make it to PR pro drift, this sunday? I know its far fetched just wondering
I highly enjoyed this upload, very detailed! Also thank you for explaining the difference between injection hose and low pressure hose highly useful tip that most people don't realize thank you Alberto
Dude thank you for the quality! Very thorough, big ups!! +1
Finally lots of work, was waiting. Need to hear it run now.
Hey Alberto I just wanted to ask how easy is it to work on these e36's, I'm thinking about getting one. And which motor do you prefer the m50 or m52 ?
why not use the vanos? it would give you a quicker spool
Alberto, now I hope that the hose is a coolant hose that does not mind to get oil sprayed on it. Because normal the rubber can resist ether coolant or oil not both. Coolant hoses are one material on the outside that is resistant to oil and on the inside resistant to coolant. To get it slip on tight fittings you should have lubed it with coolant from the inside. Because oil will normal damage the inside hose. Also is it better to use a size up and clamp it down then the stretch the hose because the fibers that reinforce the hose can break if you stretch it to much. All this can cause coolant leaks in the future. Jus saying that trouble can be on the way. And I hope you did not ding the compressor blades when you handled the install like that... more trouble would be there if they got damaged...
Really enjoying these videos
Great advice about the fuel hose and clamps specific for fuel injection. FYI - there is a great tool for cutting hoses.
'berto i got a E36 question for you. i'm swapping an M52TU in my e36 and since it's a double vanos i cant use a thermostat housing of an e36. the left outlet is hitting the vanos-actuator. the e46/z3 thermostat housings use a clip-system to hold the hose on instead of a hose-clamp. what would you do? cut the hoses and mix em up so i can install hose clamps on the radiator and the clip-style things on the thermostat housing?
Just curious but why would you not torque spec the bolts for the turbo? Is it just a thing where ya done it so many times where you can tell it's close to spec?
Is there a reason for the VANOS delete? Is it a reliability thing? I'm not too well versed on BMWs
What you think about relocating turbo somethere low, like powersteering pump, but in other side? Because it looks kinda strange
hey Alberto don't know if you covered this before but if you have a sec why the e36 is it easy access to parts, short wheelbase, familiarity what could it be???
Hey Alberto, I've got a 1992 bmw 535i e34, and I always see a bunch of e36s turned into drift cars and stuff like that, I was wondering if you know why the e34 doesn't get as much love? Great videos as always man.
Hey Alberto here's a tip you can try and use if want. Since you have to grind to get these videos out on time and not too late try this the youtuber Casey neistat records his videos a day in advance and post it a day later. So instead of recording and posting on the same day he records his vids edits them the same day and then the next day in the morning or during time he posted his vids. So every video will be a day late but at least you won't be rushing to post the same day. Hope it helps and I hope it makes since LOL keep up the good work tho love your vids
justin seepaul 90% of today's youtubers records a day before and post the next
Green Doritos yea you're right Casey was jus the first person I thought of.
justin seepaul I get what you were saying, Casey is my favorite TH-camr, I think he started the whole vlogging "thing"
I'm not saying he created vlogging
His type of style is unique and different, the Paul brothers are too obnoxious, roman Atwood is a family channel, Casey is just Perfect in my opinion
These videos just keep getting better and better keep it up BIGBOOST
Albertobigboost I really like your videos. I find them very informative and enjoy learning different things that you do. thank you for documenting and sharing the content. 👍👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪
Same blow off valve i use in my car man! What waste gate are you running? also i fully support you're choice of matco tools!
Bro the angle on your dump pipe ! I can't wait to see how you solve that problem.
Alberto, what impact wrenches do you use? Another great video btw.
Much better video! Very informative I like this style!
Alberto BIGBOOST, you installed a wastegate flange on the turbine housing? How reliable is that?
server.pure-pf.com/webshop2/se/
Keep up the good work big boost!
i though i had to buy a new fuel rail to use my fuel reg does it work running off of the standed reg? or did you upgrade
How much hp do you think it's going to make?
How did you learn about cars? Especially your knowledge about turbos.
You killed it today!! loved the video!!
Won't water and or mud get into the engine bay on a rainy day with the inner arches cut out?
24 minute video? holy shit good stuff bigboost
Hi, which differential will you run? :)
does anyone know what serpantine belt was used ?? it looks like you deleted the ac!!! i want to do this to my e36 as well!! thanks !! subbed!!
Great job Alberto!!! This looks amazing!
Is that fan and shroud part of the mishimoto kit?
when are you installing the wheels and tires were waiting here
I can't wait to hear this thing fired up
Greetings Alberto ....very neat and professional install....however the fuel preasure regulator guage is effectivly useless as in its cirrent posioton you cant read it,,,sujest a hort braided line or some angled fittings tomake the unit servivceable..... Shalom
It's so close to be finished! ❤💪
A hope u can find a good place for yourself m8 as a feel ur in ur element when u have one so all the best m8 and looking forward to seeing you out drifting again
What kind of fan shroud is that for the electric fan and how thick is your fan? I'm having overheating issues on my e36 I'm thinking it's because of my stock shroud and my fan not being strong/thick enough.
cheeseandrice19 check your water pump out and thermostat. Thw water pumps tend to come apart internally. The shroud is not the issue.
Edward garcia I thought the same so I just replaced it with a Stewart pump and 80c thermo and still getting temps up to 3/4 in traffic with both fans working.
Does it the temp go down when driving then back up when stopped? If so that means the coolant is still low. If its stays past half then could be the radiator itself. But definitely check to make sure there are no air pockets in the coolant system. Thats one problem most have when they have a new water pump installed and having issues still. Lmk 👍
+Alberto BIGBOOST next time when doing the hoses. when too hard to fit them, pour hot water into a cup and soak the hose in it for a few minutes to soften it up.
Papo.. What's the point of the gauge if can't see it meng..
Hey big boost I'm 15 and thinking of my first car. Anytime I watch your videos I imagine doing these things to a drift car that I will have one day.
Max Fliearman same
dont get a euro then if you wanna do stuff like this..look at how much work it is just to find room for stuff, bo room for a turbo to be mounted correctly
Max Fliearman an s chassis is an easy car to start off with. alot of them out there and easy parts to come across. had my first one at 16 and on my second one now. been in the schassis community since late 2010. love my coupe and my old coupe. but That's my opinion though. also have an e30 and they're frustrating to work on. lol
nano_ps13
nah dude a 350z is better
its ALOT cheaper than an s chassis and it has a V6
KnownNissan stay away from03-05 the have oil issues
Has the s15 had any work on it?
Best video yet! Progress!!!
bro, if you want to take a break just do it u deserve it
@Alberto BIG BOOST
when u gonna hoon in Mexico with Adam?
Are you going to run e85?
I'm calling it right now. That intake manifold is going to split.
Why did you delete the vanos?
I really enjoy these kinds of informative videos berto
curious why nor run nylon braded line with an fittings and a better filet like a fuel lab?
You had a e36 in the past? What happened to it?
I want to make my car stronger
sorry to say Alberto, but the fuel pressure regulator sits in a wrong place, with a PSI gauge on it, you will never be able to see the pressure, it just seems weird mounting it with a psi gauge on it and not being able to read the value :)
Cant wait to see BIG BOOST drift💨
May wanna straighten some of the fins in the radiator might not pull enough air through it to cool it effectively
What tools Do you use
I'm so anxious to see the BMW done 😍🔥!!!
Can't wait for the first start
Interior looking goodalberto!
Nicole gonna have all the boys drooling with her 1JZ 240
glad u started youtube always love ur content
When are you going to start with the S15?
KING SAGE whenever he finishes the e36...
I love these in depth videos
rainforest high pressure? what does that mean?
Just an idea but could have left fan switch and relayed from the output signal to signal/start the electric fan
Are you going to wide body it
Yaaaaaa I'm finally early for da BIGBOOOOOOST
Use silicone spray to make hoses like the coolant hoses easier to slip on instead of wd40
what kind of small impact is that.
I think it's a matco impact gun
Was this a turbo kit?
Custom
Great video alberto
What year is his e36?
I wish other TH-camrs got as much shit done in one video like you do! Props to you bro
you should pick up the JB Tuned fuel line tuck
Why put the gauge on. You can see It to read it. Just wondering.
papi aquí mandándote saludos de Puerto Rico Guaynabo Puerto Rico Javier González Maldonado
Can't u make new wheel wells ?
@10:20 Why not just move the coolant reservoir tank to the driver's side, fashion a bracket, shorten the tube, and mount that sucker where it'll be so much cooler?
you are the man you made that look easy i know it wasnt
Pretty tight with e36 engine
My face when I see a very long video about the e36 😁😁😁
what is a flange/Flanch bolt?
come see me in south Carolina when you get the bmw running and driving good pleasee
Big Booooooost!!! Great video man
Doesn't WD40 damage rubber hoses?
RIP to those radiator fins!
Slam the e36 on tarmacs and daily it.
Oh wait, wrong channel.
stop saying gay shit an E36 from Haggard is a death shit box that ghettofied as fuck.
and u have a civic
*ricer intensifies*
ayo, HG fans in the house
Lilo Abourizk I have a Miata and 350z
And you have nothing ... loser intensifies.
