Love this message! I am tight fisted. I read some fictional book about a shopaholic in 2007. Her dad gave her two forms of advice. MMM “make more money” and “SLM” Spend less money. Another one is from “Trick Daddy” the rapper. “ Don’t trust people who have more money in their closet and driveway than they do in the bank acocunt.”

You are absolutely spot on. I had no debt before I got married. My husband had more debt than I make in one year. As a result, I now have more debt than I make in a year.
If the other person has debt, that's not going to change just because they get married.

I love this! Getting out of debt is sometimes hard, and student loans was probably the hardest to get rid of but now without debt you feel so much free-er! I always tackled the smallest debt first and went on from there, get those small ones paid off and you can keep moving to the next and next, etc.

We know help at our church in Seriously Dating & Engaged classes 2 help people succeed in marriage. I'm going 2 share this video with them. This is what we are telling them now and my wife and I are coming from "what NOT to do" but you should do this and this video hits well. Short, Sweet and Straight to the point.

This is amazing information thank you. Another thing I learned after many harsh lessons is to stop thinking short-term and yolo. Things will be there later and so will opportunities. It’s such a scarcity belief that’s drummed into people that you have to get that that thing now! It’s a big fat lie. You can say No to things and survive just fine without it.

One thing I was told if you want to get out of debt figure out how much you spend in a month by keeping a log of everything you buy for one month. It tells you what to cut out to save that money or use it to pay down debt more.

I love you guys... #relationshipgoals! Anjelah I've loved your comedy since Bon Qui Qui was born. Not to mention you gave me the great idea of hiding snacks all around my house in case I fall and can't get up. This way I can survive... "Cause if I fall down... i'm staying down." I like that you can be funny but not vulgar. What a dying art that is! You should be so proud of that.
PS: just a little feedback: sometimes it can be hard to hear you. The mic sounds far away. I mean absolutely no disrespect. Just wanted to let you know in case it helps.

Work hard. Make money. Live below your means.
    Save & Invest.
    1. Love Jesus. 2. Love your spouse. 3. Love your children. 4. Love your family (physical & spiritual).
    In that order.
Most of all, Seek God & Obey Him.

I have a fixed income (disabled) but I am working to be a full time author. I am a mother of 1, shes 6. I want to bring that money in that I used to before I got sick, but as a fiction writer but I am not sure how. Its hard for me to get around due to me having MS. Also, I just became debt free but my bf is basically at his home stretch. Hes got a good job so paying it should be fine, but how did you guys start investing? We want to buy a house but it all seems so far to grasp. Thanks in advance, and much love to u both. Came as an anjelah comedy fan, but I am def subbing for the good vibes and vloggy times!

okay. I am around 70, been married oncet or twicet (sic), been around the block, been to the rodeo, etc.
this is some of the best advice you can give to young people.
when the money shit begins, the love ends.
its not how much you make, its how much you keep.
I am a recent fan of AJ, but this is great stuff.
I am selling nothing. get it or dont get it.
however, the best book I ever read on managing money was this one.
it Will change your life if you pay attention.
    stop p#ssing your life away.
Your Money or Your Life by vicki robin and joe dominguez.
find it on amazon, find the .pdf online, etc.

Some might see that as degrading but I see that as someone being strong where the other may be weak. One day they’ll return the favor when you happen to be weak in an area :-)

Just try again in 7 yrs when 99% of debt is removed from your credit score lol unless you're talking about mortgage, student loans etc when you say debt. Ive noticed some ppl see debt differently. Some see it as whats owed on credit score some see it as what lines credit you have open and some see it as both.
