Bulletproof offers the VTS at about half of the price and it has more versatility. But a person would need a power rack to use it on. To save space, go with bulletproof. If you ONLY want a smith machine, go with Titan or ritfit. Ritfit had one for like $500. Thank you Lindsey for not doing another treadmill lol
Honestly I am happy to do more "not treadmill reviews" Just tell me what you want to see! - Linds
Is it a review if you don’t discuss price? Titan should have let the bar go lower. Compact design, angled and counter balanced. Yes. Not being able to do hip thrust or dead family big let down.
A Deltech Smith Machine seems a quality choice. $900 shipped to your home, instead of $1,600. Has low & high pegs for full range. Also it's vertical vice at an angle. Tough to find better Smith machines out there. Just need a better bar.
Might have to look into trying this one! - Linds
Did you get the deltech one?
@@RonMexico527 Ron - no. But if I get a Smith machine the Deltech would be the one. But as I mentioned previously, I wish the bar itself was of better quality and with more knurling. Other than that, Deltech seems a quality choice for the price.
😱 it's not cardio, ice bath, protein powder... Coop allow this?
He doesn't know! Don't tell him! - Linds
You are not really isolating hamstrings and glutes when squatting in a smith machine, the trained muscles are the same as with a barbell squat. Less coordination and concentration is needed, that's all.
If I drive through the heels in a Smith the hammies are activated
@@samwroblewski748 u can‘t isolate them!
@@Markinator83yes you can isolate different muscles by positioning yourself accordingly depending on what youre trying to work on.
@@joegonzalez9430no u can‘t. U can shift the load a bit but that doesn‘t mean a muscle is isolated!
@@Markinator83dude how did you even compare a barbell to a smith machine. They are completely different from each other. Yes, you can work all muscles with both but smith machine allows you to isolate muscles by not having to engage stabilizing muscles as with a barbell. Smith machine allows you to focus on specific muscle groups depending on body positioning and it allows you to focus on squeezing certain muscles. If you dont think you can isolate specific muscles on a smith machine then you clearly don’t know how to use it as it’s meant to be used.
