Dude, we need a C10 review. That new sliding bench hack squat, leg press feature is insane. Need to know if it’s as good of a feel as it looks.
I agree, I really like the idea on that one! - Coop
Just checked this out… hack squats + leg press + cable leg extensions (where resistance curve looks $$$)
Plz Coop, we need this review! Get back to work! (But great job with this one)
@@GarageGymReviews I've legit been refreshing your page like every day waiting for a c10 review to drop! The fact I haven't seen any reviews despite it having dropped is...concerning.
The extra wingspan is legitimately making the decision between the Rep Ares 2.0 system and the C10 incredibly hard for an idiot like me who decided to make pecfly's their favourite exercise.
What brand is the C10?
Force USA C10
Heads-up, some incorrect info in this video: these all-in-one integrated functional trainer racks will typically provide a BETTER stretch during a chest fly compared to a wider setup since they provide maximum force/tension on the chest when the arms are out wide at the start and your chest muscles are stretched.
A wider cable crossover setup (wider than your wingspan during the fly) will provide a higher peak contraction resistance when you bring the arms together, while the forces will be lower at the wide start position as your arms get more in line with the cable.
The latest scientific research seems to be indicating that you don't want that peak contraction to be the hardest and the lengthened/stretched portion of the range of motion is actually the most growth promoting, so you want to maximize tension there so a slightly less wide rack setup like this is likely better for hypertrophy for most people.
This is helpful and something I've tried to correct for future videos. We shot this one awhile ago before I became enlightened on this point. Much appreciated! - Coop
The thing is: You just can’t do a proper fly when the pulleys are so close, it’s more of a pushing movement.
@@Markinator83 I'm not following, what do you mean you can't do a proper fly? Can you explain a bit more?
I think you're meaning that you won't be able to extend the elbows much, but, so long as the pulleys swivel (which most do), you can still stand in front of the machine and stick your arms out and bring them together with minimal to no elbow bend. With the swivel, the cables will angle to whatever width your wingspan will reach and maximize tension in that deep stretch starting position.
This way you have maximum tension in the portion of the movement where the chest muscles are lengthened/stretched which is the most growth promoting based on the latest research.
I've got one of these types of all-in-one rack + smith + functional trainer machines that I use daily now and the chest flys I do on it are even better than any I did on an extra wide cable crossover setup at the gym I was going to before. Especially seated on a bench in front of the rack facing away, you get an amazing deep stretch and tension at the bottom.
Coop cementing his honest review rep. Well done.
Can’t wait for REP to add a smith to the Ares rack!
We own a G15. To be honest we're pretty happy with it. It allows us to do virtually everything we would want to in regards to resistance training. The price was definitely steep, but the amount of functionality that you get for such a small footprint is pretty impressive. The other thing is that in our part of the world we don't have access to all of these other brands, so it's a matter of taking what you can get.
I have one ordered. Haven't received it yet.
Yeah, it IS expensive. Only gets steeper as you get the add ones.
I also agree with you because I came to the same conclusion. You get everything you wanted and then some with plenty of room to grow.
In the end the advantage of the G15 is that you only have to cry once. Then you can start getting busy.
We're in the same boat. Quite possibly I would have gotten a Rep Ares if they were available where I live, but in the end, I am really happy I have something with a Smith machine. It was invaluable while recovering from surgery, and now that I'm recovered, it's great for going all the way to failure without a spotter.
Thank you for the review. It was greatly appreciated & well done.
Coop you really need to check out the MAXUM Fitness SX2, seems like the best all-in-one rack + smith machine + functional trainer on the market.
Runner-up would probably be the Harbor Heavyweights HH80 V2 or Vesta Fitness PRO SERIES 3IN1 Ultimate Rack With Smith Machine (these two are basically the same rack with different branding).
All those use standard 3" x 3" 11-gauge steel with 5/8" or 1" holes.
The MAXUM seems really special since it comes with a ton of stuff and has some unique features like articulating functional trainer arms, leg press plate included, and combo stack-based plus plate-loaded cable system (with aluminum pulleys). We need a review of this one!!
Came here to say the same thing
Yes, please review the Maxum SX2. They did a video on it about a year ago, but have not updated any info on videos.
I have this rack! I chose it over the Aries because the total price after you buy the rack was nearly the same. It’s definitely not half the price as you’re saying (maybe worth a correction). The smith machine was also very important to me. I picked the G15 over the G20 because the depth of the G15 with the side plate storage made way more sense with my space.
Agree about the quality of the pulleys, that’s sort of annoying. A 1:1 option for the cables would be a game changers too. I’ve been very satisfied with the G15 overall. My big complaint is the lack of compatibility for attachments made anywhere else
Agreed. He's looking at the Ares and Athena unit price, which doesn't include the rack or any of the accessories.
Great review! It made me change my mind in buying a G15.
Dude you need to call Don with Jacked Up Fitness based in California and review their all in one power racks
YES, please review the jacked up fitness extreme!
I agree Jacked Up Fitness review
The Jacked Up Fitness Extreme Rack has all these features. I purchased it because the 2:1 and 1:1 ratio option.
Another great review Coop! Your critique was on target. I'm waiting for REP (Rogue?) to come out with a smith-machine attachment, hopefully, it's counter-balanced. You mentioned the ability to use the Smith with the weight stacks, that's such a brilliant idea! You can make a). Micro-adjustments and b). Select the weight faster than you would be able to loading plates. The ability to have both options would be money!
Why didn’t they send you their latest model the C10? Love to see you review that! The cables are wider!!
I do really like my G20 I use it all the time. I have a few hacks that make it better. It’s not perfect. I also have a Titan series 3 x 3 rack.
I like how this basically tells me this is a bigger more expensive piece of crap compared to the cheaper in your older review lol. Thanks for the heads up 👍
Great review Coop - could you please review the Ironmaster IM2000?!
No funcitional trainer on IM2000 you loose a lot of importante exercise that make different in bodybuilding
I’m getting a MAXUM sx2 shortly. Seems like a great all in one. Will do an in-depth when it’s setup
Jacked Up Fitness Power rack/Personal Trainer would a great product to review. Would love to see your opinion on one of the models!
I think a great rack with Smith and functional trainer and belt squat feature to test is the Watson ! Looks great
I hope the bring the height of the units down on these rigs across the market. Huge potential customer base dealing with lower ceilings.
Exactly . It’s why I’m picking the Ares 2.0 83” over the Rogue FM-6 that is 90”. My ceilings are unfortunately 88” lol
But like you said, hopefully most of these will start recognizing that not everyone has high ceiling space
I 100% totally agree regarding the Smith Machine knurling on my G20.... It Sucks! Mine is 35lbs. But I do love my 1:1 ratio three stacks. And I need that weight.
s
tuff stuff cxt-200 with smith attachement is still my favorite (and then a separate rack).
Sweet, been looking into all in one options coop.
Would love to also see more all in one options like the Jacked Up all in one plus
In the works! - Coop
@@GarageGymReviews Please check out the MAXUM Fitness SX2, seems like an overall better value that uses standard sizing for attachment compatibility!
When the C-10 and sliding bench get back in stock you should review that!! Looks awesome and that sliding bench looks like a total game changer!! Heard the C-10 should be back in stock next month (June) and the sliding bench closer to August
Do the vesta ultimate 3 in 1 rack!!!! I've tried them all
Coop! Can you do a review on the REP Athena wall mount?! Haven't found many reviews on it and I would love your take
Stacks are convenient, but it's crazy the premium that they represent. Even within Force USA.. they go from $2K to $5.5K from plate loaded to stacks.. For this amount you can buy a Major Lutie 3-in-1, a BOS Leg Press/Hack Squat, a Titan leg Curl/ext, and a plate loaded lat pulldown. Lesser quality and convenience but that's a complete gym right there.
Please review Fringe Sport - The Dane when it is available. Thank you. Amazing channel.
Could you post what your weekly work out looks like? What splits?
Finally you did the force usa which is king, do more of them especially the plate loaded ones.
Please make a review of the Fittle box ..is it worth it,? Thanks for giving kind consideration to us living in flats ( or don't have a garage)
You should review the vesta 3in1 counter balance feature! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Assambly Sam should start making videos/tutorials on putting together some of this equipment. Pointers, ways to make it easier/quicker, best tools. Unless that’s frowned upon by the manufacturer(s)
I was looking to buy the g15 or ares 2.0. I ordered rep rack and weights last week. Glad I went with rep. I just found it odd that the only 2 people posting force USA g15/ g20 content were people that get a commission from them.
Was already confirmed in a comment, but sometimes it's fun to see how long a video's been in the can from li'l clues.
Free bar for the holidays @13:05 on that screenshot of the price, and layers galore! (Plus basically every company but Titan has shown off their new integrated functional trainers by now, but only one real competitor was mentioned repeatedly.)
I own the G12 older version. I am pretty happy with it for the most part, minor nitpicks I wish were different but nothing Major. They recently came out with a new version of the G12 which addressed most of my concerns. Bummer though, wish I would have waited.
I really like the 1:1 ratio, but agree with coop, having a option to switch to a 2:1 would be great. They do include chains carabiners that help extend the length of the pulleys.
If you have low basement ceilings I would definitely recommend the G12, but if you have higher ceiling or a garage gym, just go with the G-20 in my opinion.
They should have implemented a dual cable lat pull down at the back, which would help with both positioning and weight when its pulling both stacks at the same time.
Glucks Gym has surpassed this channel
Cucks Gym*
Would love to see a review on the Jacked Up Fitness unit and compare to something like this.
Hey mate, not sure if you’ve done a review on the Mikolo smith machine(s)?
How do they compare? Appreciate you👍🏻
Great review!
But you said that the 2:1-4:1 adjust is exclusive…I was in Sweden a few weeks ago for work and they had a TuffStuff Fitness corner functional trainer which has the 2:1-4:1 capability. PLUS, it had a lat-PD and a low row function all built into the twin stacks. It was a CXT-200 and it was pretty freaking sweet! But I think it’s about the same price as this ForceUSA G15…
Just to note....I put together my G20 in less (much) time by myself. About 15 hrs using clamps, bungee cords and all manners of finesse.
Thanks. I'll let Sam know we're replacing him with @pointmass on assembly from now on.
@@GarageGymReviews Lol, "Slow Assambly Sam"
AsSambly Sam goes, I go! He's the man Coop!!
Hey Coop, great review but you missed a piece that makes this machine a plus which is the additional optional pack that makes it much more useful with a leg press, jammer arms, tv mount, shelves etc...i own the G10 btw, same machine but without stacks
Can you do an updated one on the G20 comparing it to more modern day alternatives? Appreciate it
Hey Coop,
Did they stop selling X20 Pro?
Also your take on that VS the New Rep 2.0?
I'd like to see your take on a similar machine I'm looking at by a company called "Jacked up fitness". They have a plate loaded one that is all in one like this.
Review the rogue functional trainer!
The Tuff Stuff CXT-200 had a similar trolley design (4:1, 2:1)
We need a review of the Tytax T1-X or T2-X. It does all of this and more.
Any plans for a Kahuna review from Befitnow? Curious as how it would fair, price tag is about the same but much higher quality
Newbie to Smiths here...any chance you can cover the pros/cons of counterbalanced smith barbells? Vertical vs angled ?
When will REP add a smith attachement to their racks?
I'm in the market for a FT/Smith. I'm still favouring the Inspire Fitness FT2.
Review the Force USA Leg press/hack squat machine please!
Hoping you will review the xebex xt4 sled soon
Would love to see you review something like Taurus All in one trainers and BodyMax etc - they are primarly EU and UK i think so since im getting into all this all the US based stuff is just out of the question for me due to shipping costs unless they are sold by local 3rd party company
There are so many options better than Taurus and BodyMax in the UK at least. Extreme Fitness have just released their all in one which looks slick, primal strength, muscle squad, body power titan, ATX, Brute force, just to name a few.
@mintyloogoblin very much appreciate it man, just seen the muscle squad one earlier today which looks dope af. Like I said I'm still new to gym equipment and getting into this to potentially buy one if and when I get a garage in the new house so if you got any more suggestions chuck em my way haha. The way I went about doing it is essentially just checking websites that have a store near me and looking at their stock, feel like I gotta see it in person before I pull the trigger on that much money
PLEASE PLEASE review The Dane half rack/ functional trainer from Fringe Sport!
Would dig a review of Fringe Sport's Dane functional trainer. Pretty please
Please do a review of a complete commercial quality home gym.
I have their X15. It’s a fantastic rack, but the other options have a lot of quality of life improvements and are comparable in price or cheaper. Can’t say I’d recommend it unless the price dropped or major improvements were made.
Something I always think is a missed opportunity on these all-in ones with a smith is the ability to attach the stack weight to the counterweight of the smith.
It would let you reverse weight capacity for lat pulldown using the smith or for lighter than bodyweight movements for tharapy or elderly clients.
I dont think it woulx be that hard to design or to expensive to manufacture either.
I have the G9, it is plate loaded, has a counterbalanced smith mashine which is used for many-many exercises with safety, but I agree with the attachments coments you have made, so I invested buying quality attachments and a vast variety (that Force USA does not offer), from ATX, I found a compatible ATX line, and it is a serious upgrade to my Gym! Over all I am very happy with the amount of functionality that you get for a relatively small footprint.
Please write this attach from Atx

@@RavenBlackCry thanks for the answer. Often It happens to me, probably bug of you tube some times! Have good work out!!!
Speaking on the pulley issue, I wonder if you could just buy aluminum pulleys that are the exact same size and fit and use them instead of the ones that force sends you.
Nice job Coop
I got the g3 six months ago, and happy with it.
Is it possible to do hip trust with the G3 Smith? and it is possible to do belt squats with the G3 Smith (having the Smith bar between the legs connected to a hook and a belt). I mean does the Smith bar reach low enough to allow a correct and wide rom for these two exercises?
did you also get the jammer arms and leg press and dip option? If so, how are things going? Is the Smith smooth and are the pulleys on the functional trainer also smooth? Are chest or deltoid crosses or kick backs and various exercises good?
@andreadalex8893 I didn't get those options, the Smith is really smooth. I never used a smithmachine before but I use this one all the time. The functional trainer is smooth also, and it works good if you have only one plate on it.
@@neilrutledge3659 thanks for the answer. I think It Is the best buy on the market! And of you can try to answer at the question about doing hip trust and belt squat with the Smith please? If the Smith machine go enoufgh low ?!

Please review there V2 Low footprint Hack/Leg Press!!!
Need a review on the fettle fitness pendulum squat
is there any decent alternative to this with only an 84" basement ceiling? Sadly they say this is 87.5" even if you don't want the clearance for pullups.
Crazy $$$
When is rep coming out with one of these?
I have the Force USA "My Rack" for a number of years... Happy with it as it was a "middle ground" squat rack at the time, but the one reason not to buy it is the non-standard upright dimensions; the uprights are something like 2.4 x 2.4 inches, so you can never use accessories from other companies. It's a little heavier guage steel than budget racks, but a little less guage steel than the leading racks... "middle ground."
Jacked Up Fitness Pro review please.
Looks heavy. Is there a way to bolt my safe to it?
Love my G3

Definitely should've been a 2:1 and 1:1 ratio switching cable system, I'm not sure why you would want a 4:1 ratio ever, anyone know when that would be especially useful?
For a sissy
Totally agree with the 1:1 ratio. I have to use gym pin for low row and lat pulldown. But the 4:1 ratio helped me with shoulders rehab 2 years ago and also gives nice increment for shoulder side laterals
When is this guy gonna develop some muscle
I disagree with Coop! I have the Rep fitness Ares. It’s not half the price. The area and rack is almost the same price. Plus the Ares doesn’t have a Smith machine. Also the pulley system in a home gym rack doesn’t really matter all that much.
dynabody power press review..
Its COOP!

No funcitional trainer , hundred exercises less
Mikolo p5 please
Same knurling as the Nüobells.
Coop, when comparing racks like these you never mention the Mikolo M4 or the "higher end" Major Lutie. My M4 has been rock solid for the most budget friendly rack I've ever seen! Customer service is even top notch. A weight plate holder broke and before I even received an email response saying they apologize, I had TWO delivered. THEN, they just asked me to leave a review on their customer service and send me rubber change plates (.25-1lbs) set! Love my Mikolo bro. You should absolutely review it.
I get that he's sponsored by REP by its getting to be a bit much... 😬
too much money and too cluttered.

The Inspire FT2 is the best machine. Sad to see that you guys rigged it to make it look shakey. No one who owns one has ever had an issue with it moving. FT2 is still hands down the best.
100% agree. I love my FT2. Everyone that has used it at my house loves it too.

Bye
Why are you reviewing this now? The G15 has been around for around for like 2 years maybe...see Stevie Richards reviews. You should be reviewing the updated 2024 versions of the G12 and X15 Pro and the new C10!!! What are you doing man? Is Force USA paying you to push this so that they can get rid of old stock? They need to send you the 2024 line-up. I really want to see the new C10 and C10 bench in action and put to the test...not some lame watered down review like you normally do where you point out a few things here and there...really get in there and review the f'ing product...let's see an actual workout with a little bit of weight to see if the machine is going to be worth our hard earned dollars. The C10 finally looks like something I might purchase, but I have my doubts because they always seem to not address the obvious. Like, how long did it take for them to finally realize to do a lat pull down and center row utilizing both stacks. And finally they are starting to hide those ugly pulleys at the top. Now if they could just figure out how to do an adjustable pull up section and have the Smith Machine rotate to the safety catches like they did on the G20 you might just have the perfect all-in-one. And while I'm at it, how about attachments you can buy separately that work on different models.
