    Their are some stories where it’s like the guy has nine lives and keeps getting chances. Then their are those where the guy fucks up one time and his whole life is completely ruined.

      Well, your right about some people I've seen good people get slightly mixed up with some bad shit either get arrested or more likely OD & poof their gone. While it took a bit of time many many rehabs and try doing it myself but it took almost 15 years too get it threw my head, by my calculations 😂 I should of died 1 way or another around 1200 times scary shit. Remember If you or someone is an addict give em a chance & eventually they will pull it off. God Bless all those suffering 🙏 Christ is King!

    Thank you for all the kind comments. Thanks for all the concern about my son. We have a wonderful relationship and today we listened to the podcast together. So I could explain life and the timeline.
    As for the trip. It was during Covid and my son spent 2 months with us, for the concerned commenter. Trying. To piss on my Cheerios
    It’s my story it may not entertain everyone.
    And the ending was rushed due to time constraints. I could have gone another hour. But mainly I really just hoped to just try and help 1 person who might relate to my story. I didn’t get into how I maintain my sobriety. But it’s mainly staying grateful and helping others. If anyone is struggling reach out!

      Hey good story man. I know that the Christian cult place kicked you out because of the cigarette but in a weird way that may have been the discipline you needed to get you out of your addiction and lead you to a life of blessing. I pray the best for you.

    COX, I’ve probably seen 99.5% of your podcast since you first appeared.
    This interview probably has become my favorite! I could relate SOOOOOO MUCH even down to the AA obsessed sister! I’ve got one of those sisters and regardless of my 7yrs clean, I didn’t do it through AA though like my sister and because of that, I don’t receive anything positive, just that I’m what they call a DRY DRUNK. I’m here to tell Everyone that AA and NA isn’t for everyone. I would try to go to meetings just to hear all the stories about people’s past and I would leave wanting to get high or drunk right away!
    I actually got Hypnotized and it flipped my world around. Haven’t drank or drugged since!
    This pod was a 10 outta 10!! I wanna hear more! 3 hours just FLEW by and getting to the end sucked! I could have listened to 3 more hours!
    This guy was GREAT!!!🎉🎉😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    • @eddier155
      @eddier155 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Good job, I know the struggle well. Family politics can be difficult. Yeah AA/NA are very intolerant of anyone that doesn't prescribe to their method. Yup heard a million genuine experiences, met a ton of other addicts to hook up with and listened to how I'm doomed if I don't follow their "method" as they drink 17 gallons of coffee and smoke 3 packs of butts. That's when I realized God didn't get me into this mess and he certainly isn't going to get me out. Fast forward 23 years I've been heroin free and still remember their "leader" trying to convince me I'm an alcoholic because I used dope.
      P.S. Anyone thinking of getting "high" on hard drugs, consider taking Nate's story seriously because you too will eventually end up in several situations where you're thinking OMG this isn't me, I'm better than all these other people. It's a long painful road littered with good people suffering from the consequences of their bad decisions. If you do end up strung out do whatever it takes to accept responsibility and fix your core issues.

This really lets people know how prevalent and insidious opiates really are and how many good people it deeply and fully effected. But all seem to grow out of the phase, or at least the lucky ones. So my dad told me like "Oh, apparently you're not supposed to share Netflix between different addresses anymore." And I'm like, "yeah, that was always the case." And he was _so_ disappointed that I didn't tell him and made him do something unethical 😂 One time I was sharing this movie about pedohunters (the one from a few years back) and he wouldn't watch it because it was only available for paid streaming in the US. This whole story was awesome! I wish that guy the best! Not only that, but instead of plugging his socials to gain notoriety, the guy plugs someone elses number to help people in need. Ive seen alot of your podcast but this one earned my subscription! You should have him back every now and then to see how lifes goin! Keep up the great work, look forward to hearing the next one! 🤙🏾🤙🏾
