As we celebrate Earth Day, sustainable habits are at the top of our minds, including recycling, but how much of what we recycle actually gets recycled?
91% of plastic doesn't get recycled it just sits in a landfill 31% of glass gets recycled 68% of paper gets recycled & the winner surprisingly is crude steel at 69% recycled 🤷♂️
I don’t know if it makes me laugh or cry that humans can split the atom, gone to the moon etc. but still bury all of our trash in a hole like a cat burying a turd
It’s also a great day to burn old carpet and change your oil. That way the oil can seep back down into the earth for later generations to harvest. Also you don’t want to fill up the landfills with old carpet.
Pizza 🍕 Boxes 📦 ⁉️ Never knew 🤔
Nice
Fun effen fact, only 4 percent of of plastic gets recycled
Shouldn’t Earth day be on 4/20?

I burned my old tires and batteries for earth day. The wind blows my trash into the ocean.
Hopefully you stood there & watched 🤷♂️

Lol. I admit I'm guilty of trying putting pizza boxes in the recycle bin
That's where they go along as they're not super greasy 🤷♂️
