Continue: there was a couple of fan funded documentaries for ghostbusters one was titled ghostheads was about the fandom and interviews with the cast from both movies in 2016 due to backing the documentary.
And the other was called cleanin up the town remembering ghostbusters by brother and sister duo called Claire and Anthony Bueno in order to get it released they needed funding from the fandom to back it another one that i backed and recalled on going to an screening of the documentary at an local university where they were in attendance wayback in 2019 .
Lastly I’ve met them prior at a convention in Birmingham a year early where Ernie Hudson was appearing I was in line for a photo shoot with him so Claire showed up .
I when my name came up in the end credits for both documentaries my heart sank and the rest is history.
I own Cleanin up the Town! It's a great documentary.

Bustin' makes US feel good with this one!!
Apparently there was an alternate transformation of the library ghost due to it being scary for young children that prop got repurposed for the film fright night that went into production in the same year as the release of ghostbusters.
So director Tom Holland got the rejected library ghost prop for the villain Jerry Dandridge’s demise
so Holland got Steve Johnson to basically destroy it what was left over Holland kept it and it was shown in the 2016 fan funded documentary called oh you’re so cool Brewster: remembering fright night.
Lastly on the Blu Ray there was an extra where they had an EpK segment where Johnson or edlund explained it.
I need to look into those!

Apart from one or two confusing leaps in logic, and a few weak special effects shots, I can't fault Ghostbusters. It's about as near to a being perfect film as you can get.
A few of the special effects shots haven't aged well, but everything else is gold.
Even with nitpicking with some of the special effects.. This movie is a perfect dry comedy, fun action scenes with the crazy tech, and flawless chemistry with our characters. It was lightning in a bottle. It was GOLD! 👻 👊
