Chris, you did an very good job with this demo by sweeping the various parameters, and playing the same riff in nice, short clips - just about perfect! Although controls are interactive and there are surely sweet spots of the combinations, that would be nearly impossible to do unless a demo was hours long, lol. That said, this was really great, one of the best demos I've seen for a gain pedal (I'm gonna check out your other demos!). Thanks a lot! Like and subscribed!
Thank you very much for the feedback, much appreciated and totally agree that there are a lot more combinations of settings with other possible sweet spots, which would make a super long video.
@@Tone-Quest Thank you, Chris. I truly hope you can get WAY more people watching your vids, liking and subscribing. You truly deserve it. I'm watching your other vids and they're all excellent! One of the things that I love, besides how you go through the sweep of all of the controls, is that you play chord riffs, which is WAY more useful that playing notes/solo type stuff....and also the graphics that you create/use,,,,NOBODY else does it as good! It really shows what the gear can do. Best of luck moving forward,,,get your vids out there, heard/watched, and LIKED!

I was considering buying one.
I first considered the original, but it is very pricey. Not sure how they sound side by sound, but everything I hear on your video sounds good.

@@Tone-Quest Thanks Chris. Now I need to figure should I buy from eBay, Amazon or AliExpress...I think Amazon (if shipped by Amazon) is probably the easiest to return if an issue or problem. I just drop it off at a Kohl's Store to return)...
I did buy the DemonFx, King Of Drive from Amazon and all was good and sounded great...

@@uptownphotography Ditto, I tend to order from Amazon for the exact same reason. Generally speaking I get the pedal quickly (in most cases) and easy to return at my local Kohl’s.

@@Tone-Quest I bought mine at Ali, paid 69 euros compared to 120 euros at Amazon USA (they don't sell this in EU), both prices include shipping and taxes and all, for that price difference I'll take the risk and the hassle of returning it in case something is wrong, or a refund, but it arrived within a week and it sounds like a charm. Awesome pedal. The only thing I am wondering about is: can it take 18V like the original or should I stick to 9V to be on the safe side?
@@IAmWatcher I would stick to 9v. On the back of my pedal it says to only use with a regulated 9 volt power supply.
Excuse me: do the freedman have Cab Simulator? To be used as an preamp direct to mixing board, I mean😊
Does this pedal has cab sim? If so, then unfortunately, the answer is no.

The Orange Terror Stamp is the amp.

Yes, when you turn the gain up to 60% or more there is some noise.

good pedal, but to much gain for my taste... the smaller one for me is ok...
