let's be honest here. D2 is getting less than 2500 average players per day on steam. the new seasons did not increase player count, it's been stagnate for almost 2 years. it's not the giant franchise everyone thinks it is. Ghost recon breakpoint is getting more players and that game was an absolute dumpster fire at launch and stopped getting support years ago. Here's hoping tencent do buy ubisoft. POE and warfame are shining examples of how to do live service right.
Bruh. I play on pc daily. Not on steam. GGs. Steam started two years ago. There is Ubisoft connect, PlayStation, and Xbox players along with steam. Maybe do some more research. This game has a lot more agents playing than you think…
Back before they made XDefiant, I advised against it when they sent out a Player Survey asking if avid Division1/2 players like me would be interested. We're not. But hey, they never listen to surveys -- and oh, that other stupid idea they had to make a mobile version: Division Resurgence. WTF. No one wants to play that either. Very sad they don't take their fans' advice; now their whole company is tanking.
I Think theres More Chance Of Heartland Being Released Than Div 3. Because of Finance & Because Heartland Was already to a percentage on its way to being Completed
1) Make a next-gen upgrade for Div 1 2) Get global events pumping again. 3) Add seasonal content. 4) Watch existing players recruit all their friends to play it and watch the cash roll in....
I don't think that will happen as Division 1 was released in 2016. Spending money on an 8+ year old game does not seem like a good idea given where Ubisoft finances are right now.
only way they can save the division 2 is put 30 dollars or more bundles (skins and comic tics) then put like 100 dollars bundles (blueprints and ect) for everything in the game
My question, does Ubi own Massive? Or are they a stand alone company that is hired by Ubi? I thought Massive was a contractor, similar to red storm. I guess the question would be is, if Ubi dies, is there a chance that Massive could get its hands on the rights for Tom Clancy world? I hope I’m wrong, I really really hope so, but I think we won’t see a Div 3 until 2028. Would love to see it in 2027.
It's such a shame. They stood there ground and now they are going to be violated sideways. Everyone told them not to. They were defiant and now they are done. Its game over I'm afraid.

It was really sad that XDefiant got closed because of poor management. The game was a breath of fresh air in FPS genre and gameplay wise it was much more balanced and refined than the yearly COD DLC Activision pumps out for the masses. Hopefully if Ubisoft gets bought the new owner takes XDefiant under its wings and continues to develop it and challenge the mediocre cheater infested COD series.
man. UBSFY trend in general just looks like bearish. 😖not far from an ATL lately. as much as we know stocks are reactionary, but this def isnt something i’d throw money into.
It’s ironic that the top brass try to remind us that we should get used to NOT owning our games. Someone needs to tell him to NOT get comfortable with having a job. All we ever wanted was a larger storage chest and newer maps, neighborhoods and reining in crazy people who exploit to have watch scores in the tens of thousands. I mean who needs armor when you have that much health? PVP can be a lot of fun but not when you have all these idiots running around with Zen and lag switches, deploying skills in spawn areas and being campers all day long 🤷♂️. Love the game. #Keener should have stayed dead.
I totally agree with you!!! Just hit a number on the f… heartland. They already had it almost ready. Spend a little more and then make some back. Developers mu a…s!!! They never listen to the community. Whatever likes the community, they run to “fix” it. How can they be compared with Fortnite? Fortnite see what players like and give them more of it. They don’t ban people for finding glitches. They turn glitch into game mode and players love it. I said too much, but… please people… give as reasons to play the existing games and u’ll get ur money!!! Like FORTNITE. They don’t try new games in cost of existing ones. They develop the ones players play every day and then they go for new ones. After they make money from the existing games!!! ooohhhhh I m just really close to give up!!! Pppfffffff!!!
Hopefully the figures for AC will be as bad as most people expect and this slow death will finally complete. Could anyone persuade Musk to buy Massive? 🙂 I am not overly confident Tencent would be any better than the incumbents.
That's what happens when they release game, after game that no one wants (and don't listen to what gamers actually want to play. Hopefully, someone comes in and buys the whole company and fires the old executives
Hey Skulls and Bones may not have had a great start & it may have not been the "quadruple A game" they said it would be but Ubisoft has turned games around plenty of times, matter of fact I expect every game Ubisoft makes to suck ass when it launches but I also expect them to do what they always do & turn that around once the game has released & times goes on. It's pretty much what they do, they make a game promise a ton of stuff to win us over then disappoint when it comes out & then gain our support yet again when we see that they start to turn the shit game around & make it pretty good. And yes, they need to cut all that trend following bs that they do.
Get woke, go broke. I am extremely tolerant of individuals who "identify" but I don't want it in my game. When characters in Div2 tell me how they recognise they are fortunate to have benefitted from "privilege" or where characters are obviously "trans" then I start to think this has no place in a GAME.
Ubisoft is slowly dying and management is to blame. Wrong decision after wrong decision. They have no clue wtf they are doing, not been in touch with gamers at all the past 4 - 5 years. Some have corporate greed on their mind (management), others have gamers and creativity in mind (devs) and it clashes. Even though i wish Division 3 will be a reality someday, i rather want to see Ubisoft die. They mismanaged their big IP's so heavily, that i don't even want to see them succeed anymore.
i wouldn't listen to tom Henderson any time soon, he's been community noted on a lot of things for the past few years, not a very reliable source honestly
What did they expect with crap that they release Skull n Bones Outlaws ,even Avatar i got bored of too quick same with Far Cry 6 oh and Mirage and whatever others i missed .The only games i really like was the Division series and Wildlands .When they announced Outlaws and showed the gameplay i was like that looks shocking ,i tried it on ubiplus and was so glad i didnt buy it a really dull boring game .Ubisoft calling games a AAAA game and charging stupid money for them wass a dumb idea .

I’m 2200 watch. 2 full expert 27 builds already. Shepherd rank 99. Multiple characters. Everything you can unlock, buy, or do like a classified assignment are all done. I’ve played since October of 2024. I’m already extremely bored of the game. The DZ has tons of cheaters which sucks. Entire clans use the Cronus and don’t get banned. The game looks like it’s dying too. What else could I possibly do to have fun? I’m waiting for an update cause I heard they are adding more to New York eventually.
yeah tencent wanted control so they could try spamming the same phone games with rapacious monetization seen in asia and japan, only they wanted the Division and Tom Clancy etc brands to try launch that in the west. diablo immoral didnt convince tencent that those games wont work here.
of course with those brothers fighting like that, the other options are tencent or someone else buys out non-core IP like The Division, Ghost Recon etc. that would ease cashflow and allow ubi to change while keeping their flagship IP Assassin's Creed.
Well Ubisoft is not the issue with the division. it’s massive’s inability to communicate with its player base and interest in casual gamers and un interest with is hardcore player base pvp community.
C-Suite making decisions, but they don’t play games. They refuse to devote any resources to the Division 2. I own both Division. I do not own any AC since Brotherhood. They don’t support Wildlands. They put resources into a single player Star Wars game. Greed sucks.
I've only played a couple Assassins Creed games so does that I.P. have enough positive reviews to push the company in the right direction? Seems like a bad idea to put all your eggs in one basket. They should have released a new Splinter Cell years ago, Blacklist came out in 2013 what were they waiting for....
It's amazing what 7 years of no innovation will do to a company. AC, Far Cry, even Division, all just copy/pasta over and over and over. The family needs to go, you had your time. You're blatant miss-handling of the company shows a complete disconnect from who you actually are as a company. You're not EA. You're not Sony or MS. You were always the middle child but your ego couldn't handle it. "AAAA" game that was dead on arrival, and a Star Wars game that is so buggy it's the laughing stock of 2024 are not "proud" moments, meanwhile games like Black Myth Wukong, and Marval Rivals flourish. BMW even had an uphill battle as it was blackballed by many because "critics" wanted them to cave to pressure to embrace more DEI within the game....where you play as a monkey for christs sake. Get your shit together Ubi. Stop fucking up. Hire better qualified devs. You have some of the strongest IP's out there, but you're shitting the bed with everything.
Pride always comes before a fall. Now they've driven the cart into the mud after getting themselves into trouble with Avatar and Star Wars. They dropped Heartland for crap like X Defiant. But those who won't listen must face the consequences. There needs to be changes, and big ones at that. Don't rely on an old horse and play D3 like D2. More tactical than just the action number. House-to-house fighting in which you sometimes have to entrench yourself, better raids, better cover, or just not that armor-collecting crap anymore. Wildlands is and remains a good example: simple weapons, simple armor, no big fuss. And let's be honest, Assassins Creed is just going to be a cheap copy of Ghost of Tsushima. The train has left the station. You can't take anything from the cake if it's already been eaten.
wht not? they own path of exile and warframe. widely considered to be the fairest free to play games on the market. have excellent communities and have outlasted most other f2p titles.
We can play bugged games, but I think added insult to injury over the last years was the woke agenda. Even Meta is backtracking over it. I don't know if the company can be saved, but the differentiator for Ubisoft used to be the scripts, they broke that by forcing that agenda. And it's not the only one. Just look how EA broke Mass effect, degrading the franchise with lame scripts since they bough Bioware. The industry underestimates the public, badly
Hopefully tencent doesn’t buy it. I’d hate to have to stop playing the game. I know a lot of people who would stop playing Ubisoft games if a Chinese company owned it.

Is there any source for the full playerbase?
What Happened To Pay DLC Of London On Division 2? Possible Las Vegas DLC On Division Two.... No Words Getting Together With China Version
If Gerighty manages to deliver everyone will open their wallet for Ubicrap like nothing happened! God bless
1) Make a next-gen upgrade for Div 1
2) Get global events pumping again.
3) Add seasonal content.
4) Watch existing players recruit all their friends to play it and watch the cash roll in....
Boom 💥.
Hire this guy
I don't think that will happen as Division 1 was released in 2016. Spending money on an 8+ year old game does not seem like a good idea given where Ubisoft finances are right now.
@@carbonsample6442 But unfortunately, you are probably right - they won't do it 👍
u could play once human. just like division but way bigger map, more unique enemies, base building, clan wars, ect.
only way they can save the division 2 is put 30 dollars or more bundles (skins and comic tics) then put like 100 dollars bundles (blueprints and ect) for everything in the game
You can't even do raids on Ps5 and you can't even connect with different groups. So I consider a failure period 😮😮😮😮 i've been playing it for over six year and I still can't get the eagle barrel😮😮😮
I’ve been saying forever that Heartland should’ve been a Division 2 DLC
Ubisoft is going to go under major changes very soon. I think
Ubisoft bought Farcry1, and it was their best game I've seen for it's time.
they needs to stop the call of duty trend. the division series and ghost recon series have alot of content alone by itself.
Potential 'buyers' Tencent just blacklisted, deemed a Chinese military company... Let's just throw that in for an added snicker giggle...
Bro. The gloom and doom starting the video with the 5% drop and the sky is falling! 5% is $.60, come on bro.
Well when you tell people if you dont like it dont buy it, well people listened and now there paying for it
Hey Skulls and Bones may not have had a great start & it may have not been the "quadruple A game" they said it would be but Ubisoft has turned games around plenty of times, matter of fact I expect every game Ubisoft makes to suck ass when it launches but I also expect them to do what they always do & turn that around once the game has released & times goes on. It's pretty much what they do, they make a game promise a ton of stuff to win us over then disappoint when it comes out & then gain our support yet again when we see that they start to turn the shit game around & make it pretty good. And yes, they need to cut all that trend following bs that they do.
That's because Ubisoft is controlled by D.E.I. hired employees.
Get woke, go broke. I am extremely tolerant of individuals who "identify" but I don't want it in my game. When characters in Div2 tell me how they recognise they are fortunate to have benefitted from "privilege" or where characters are obviously "trans" then I start to think this has no place in a GAME.
I fear Ubisoft will make another paywall in division 2 same as warlords of NY. The Division 2 wasn't finished and Ubisoft sold the fixes as DLC
UBI soft sucked $100+ from me for the disaster Star Wars Outlaw was and did not even try to make amends in away, dumped my shares for sure.
If you could invest in Ubisoft losing you would be a millionair in a few months.
Seriously with all these problems at ubisoft div 3 will fail or the company may go bust before its even out as its stated it wont be out for about 5 yr
Buy cosmetics lol
Whoever seals it, doesn’t profit
Well this sucks I was just planning to return to div 2
yeah tencent wanted control so they could try spamming the same phone games with rapacious monetization seen in asia and japan, only they wanted the Division and Tom Clancy etc brands to try launch that in the west. diablo immoral didnt convince tencent that those games wont work here.
of course with those brothers fighting like that, the other options are tencent or someone else buys out non-core IP like The Division, Ghost Recon etc. that would ease cashflow and allow ubi to change while keeping their flagship IP Assassin's Creed.
Coming soon: Xi Jinping's The Division 3.
Well Ubisoft is not the issue with the division. it’s massive’s inability to communicate with its player base and interest in casual gamers and un interest with is hardcore player base pvp community.
Ya ignore content for the best game series you will ever make....smart...
Yea man the stock fell to 2.50$. I accepted the worst.
C-Suite making decisions, but they don’t play games.
They refuse to devote any resources to the Division 2.
I own both Division.
I do not own any AC since Brotherhood. They don’t support Wildlands. They put resources into a single player Star Wars game.
Greed sucks.
Drop everything focus on division 3 make it cross play. We win! Ubisoft win!
i'm here to watch it burn and something new and better rise from the ashes
The phoenix 🐦🔥
I've only played a couple Assassins Creed games so does that I.P. have enough positive reviews to push the company in the right direction? Seems like a bad idea to put all your eggs in one basket. They should have released a new Splinter Cell years ago, Blacklist came out in 2013 what were they waiting for....
Not having a successful AAA title launch in several years will do that to your stock...
I love the division but damn it hard to keep playing it. The man hunt stuff is boring hell I miss the old division
D.E.I is to D.I.E. it's an undisputed fact. They don't learn.
Go woke, go broke.
Not tencent... please
Winnie the Pooh is displeased with your comment
wht not? they own path of exile and warframe. widely considered to be the fairest free to play games on the market. have excellent communities and have outlasted most other f2p titles.
Better keep buying outfits. /s
So Bungie and Ubisoft are both fucking up?
We can play bugged games, but I think added insult to injury over the last years was the woke agenda. Even Meta is backtracking over it. I don't know if the company can be saved, but the differentiator for Ubisoft used to be the scripts, they broke that by forcing that agenda. And it's not the only one. Just look how EA broke Mass effect, degrading the franchise with lame scripts since they bough Bioware. The industry underestimates the public, badly
The fact he just kept saying Gilli - mot 😂😂😂 it’s pronounced Ge - Air - Mo they are French. lol
Hopefully tencent doesn’t buy it. I’d hate to have to stop playing the game. I know a lot of people who would stop playing Ubisoft games if a Chinese company owned it.
