I remember playing this game when I was a kid. I never beat it so it was nice to see the ending. Even as a kid I knew night crawler was the best character.

Apparently at some point in the game, you actually have to press Reset to be able to progress, but you have to press and immediately let go of the button, otherwise the game just resets and you have to start back from the beginning.

Ah yes, I remember this quite unique game. Unique because while in comics and other xmen games mutants can spam their abilities left and right, here they are harshly limited by energy.

Are you kidding me? So as a kid I actually got to the second to last level but after the glitch thing I gave up. I had no idea I was so close to beating the game.
I remember Night Crawler being the MVP and having him die made the game immensely harder.

I played this long ago and learned Nightcrawler can blaze through levels while Wolverine is used against tough bosses like Apocalypse.
I only ever made it to level 4 though, so idk if I would have figured out level 5's meta trick to proceed.
