you wouldn’t believe how happy I am that the Mario trickjumping scene doesn’t have as ridiculous names as something like the Mario Kart ultra cut scene, like they literally named one on 7’s MC2 remake “spaghetti” 😭
Although I started trickjumping a little bit before this video came out, It was still one of the main sources that motivated me to start my journey in trickjumping.. I might have a few ideas on how to complete your first master. So my first idea is for you to try cloud dram just cuz its one of the more easier master impossible jumps. Also try doing faster homing cap throws and maybe vector a little bit more on your cappy bounces and homing cap throws
In the room in 11:12 , the first time the floor goes down there is no obsticoles, i wonder if you can make it back up there, i tried and failed but im just starting out with jumps like this so if you could include that jump in a part 2 of this i would be super happy
Watch other people's runs and tutorials for routes. After that, just play a few times and you should get better pretty quickly. Until you get about sub 1 hour 10 minutes you shouldn't struggle too much.

I'm a total noob. Can you explain how at 0:14 (or literally any other one) you throw the cap, ground pound, roll and then bounce off the cap? Because for some reason my cap keeps coming back to me.
Yeah. I got a triple throw and shook my controller so cappy came back to me really fast. I was then able to rainbow spin because cappy came back, giving me more distance

Its fun to watch this comp back when i was beginning trickjumping i wpuld use this as a guide for wat jumops to do and now i have like 70 elites but still watch it
The setup I used is pretty consistent. Try to stand in the same spot and use first person to get the angles correctly. If you have any more questions, join the discord server! Link is in the description. There are a ton of people who are really good that are willing to answer any questions you have!
You actually lose height by doing this, you only gain distance. But I threw cappy and then immediately shook the controller to return him to me, the spammed B so I could get the rainbow spin. To do this even faster, I set it up so that after I did the jump, cappy would come back and I could triple throw him to do the same motion a lot faster. I’m pretty sure if you look through the other comments you can find a tutorial video I posted (replying to someone else comment)

I think amiibo stomper is a bit messed up. Are you supposed to do the last jump on the amiibo? Because I think that in the video, the last jump is on the ground. Anyways, this is amazing! I am doing all of thoses trickjumps in difficulty order. Next time I will play, I will try salt triple. P.S. : Cool Mario ;D
I can see why you think that. I actually am jumping off of Uncle Amiibo. There’s a mechanic to make the game easier and more fun called “coyote time” and it lets me jump off of him a couple frames after I’ve fallen off. It still counts. Also I’m glad you enjoyed the video! :D
I started out as a mid-low level speedrunner. I eventually just kept doing jumps and over time, I picked up on the skills required. I didn’t get all these jumps in a day, this took me months lol. I’m sure if you keep practicing you’ll be the same way!
Ok, but the things I still need to practice are Vaults and mid-air homing cap throws and thank you for saying that I’ll be able to do those Trickjumps at one point
Don’t give up! It took me lots of practice and over a hundred hours of play time to get the skills I had when I started jumping. I already had decent skills in speedrunning that translated over to jumping. So don’t worry if you’re not good yet, you’ll get there!
For proof that what he is saying is true look at me for example. A month ago I commented something very similar on this very video but I’ve practiced and improved a ton since then

as im watching this video ive been doing them alongside you currently on 40 but for some reason flower flight was the hardest whilst the others took me sometimes less than 10 minutes
You know the first one? When you landed you can see a platform infront of you if you look up, jumping from the platform you landed on to that platform is a known jump that speed runners have also done so try that

Watch other people's runs and tutorials for routes. After that, just play a few times and you should get better pretty quickly. Until you get about sub 1 hour 10 minutes you shouldn't struggle too much.

You have to hold the cap throw button until Mario touches cappy. It takes a little bit of getting used to but once you’ve got it down it’s easy

How does it come back instantly
First you have to get a triple throw with Cappy. Then you shake the controller to have him come back to you, then press B for the rainbow spin.

I don't know if you know this, but you can do the Banzai Bounce room without using ever using the scarecrow or even capturing the banzai bills.
