if you did not you need to get one because leopard geckos like and NEED to have a warm side and regular temperature and if you getting a heat mat in the future make sure you have some kind of glass inclosure because the heat will melt the plastic

Nia Jordan yes he has a heat mat and it won’t melt the plastic because it’s regulated on a thermostat. Many animal keepers successfully use plastic tubs for leopard geckos
