Puar’s gender is kinda ambiguous depending on the source. Puar is referred to as a “she” various times in the english dub of Dragon Ball, but in the english dub of Super they call Puar a “he”. Toriyama stated on record that he always thought of Puar as a boy, and Puar refers to themself with the Japanese pronoun “boku” which is typically used by young boys, though it can technically be used by any gender.

This show does have some really interesting villains and allies that we don't see in DBZ but that was because the creator of the series had so many characters a few had slipped his mind.

A detail that doesn't quite get through is that after Yamcha peeks through the window to see Bulma showering is that in the manga it was full boob shot and then when Puar pulls him away his eyes are just in the shape of Bulma's boobs, nipples and everything. It doesn't quite translate to the animation where they still had the pupils be white, but his iris's are pink.
Final arc onwards actually. Were he gets humiliated by Kami. Before even tien respected him initially while fighting. He thought yamcha the strongest of Roshi's fighters lol.

I can’t remember any evil characters in dragon ball indiscriminately trying to murder children of their own race for undetermined items/money they don’t even have and they don’t have any reason to believe they do. Everyone acts like Yamaha was f’d over, but no one acknowledges he’s basically the most depraved and evil human being in all of dragonball. Grown arse Characters willing to try murdering children of there own race, with no explanation, deep backstory, or necessary goals they know they can reach if they do this act don’t often appear and Yamcha is a true villain who got what he deserved, lol.
The dub is okay and all but it really ruined Oolong and Puar. He sounds more like a boy in Japanese as he should because he's like 8. And Puar is supposed to be a boy.
Man, the classic Dragon Ball music is something else.
