I ordered one UDI 1601 1 month ago and per postal service I will receive it tomorrow. Can't wait to try this one. I have a 1/10 3RACING Sakura D3 CS and it's quite fun, but this one is smaller and has a gyro.

I'm saving for either my first crawler or a no prep drag car but I keep seeing awesome cheap little cars and dip into what I have saved for the expensive cars so I can get the cheap car,oh well,its still an cool rc car,its not like the crawlers or drag cars are going anywhere, it will just take a little longer to get them. Hey get the arrma granite voltage and compare it to those cars it’s 1/10 scale and it might be a good competitor not necessarily in the same range of RC cars but as in price
My son and I have one each and they are great - BUT one was really slow out of the box, and then stopped. It turned out that the differential and housing wasn’t properly installed and the ring gear was rubbing against the housing. As it heated up the plastics melted and then seized. I disassembled it, carefully separated the fused parts with a Stanley knife (not just useful for hijacking planes it turns out) and ‘presto’, all was fine. Has continued to work well. Great little cars.
Question: The slicks - are there differences between the front and the rear? It looks to me as though two symmetrical (the height of the tire inside, and outside is the same) and the other two of them have a smaller diameter on the inside. I have only noticed this now after using the tires of fair bit and it may be where. Alternatively, I wondered if it’s to aid tyre contact on the outside tire under cornering.
Any ideas?

Maybe the challenge should be how fast can you go on 3 wheels, lol. Easier to align the front end.

All the tyre marks in the snow on the ramps were done by us! Me and my son had his Arrma Typhon on there. 😉 Snapped a bottom arm due to bad landing and cold.❄ ☹ Where would you suggest for parts??

Cool... are MTC or M-Class shells, wheels and shocks going to fit this?
I have the CEN Fiat 595 body from that monster truck CEN put out not too long ago. The 595 is actually fairly scale and can be ordered in unpainted. I am waiting for the Hoonigan- ish version of this to show up. The wheel base length looks perfect. the width looks too narrow. As far as the M chassis bodies go, aren't they 200mm wheel base? The wheel base for these little cars is 170mm. Which is perfect for the 1/12th CEN body and I think the 1/12 Fiat 500 body. But I think these little drift cars are too narrow. For me if it dosen't work out going to try and find the K chassis which used to be sold by RCMART and ASIATEES.

hi sir.... i really like your mods and videos... i actually bought this car using your link... i had issues with my stock servo and ended up ordering a brushless setup... i will be hoping for 30 mph on 2s...my question is how did you get the play out of the rear wheels??? both go in and out a huge amount imo... front is pretty average play for a cheap car.... anyway thanks for your help...cheers! PS...should i tear it down and grease diffs??? again i am not looking to go over 30-35 mph...
I’d give it a once over, the diffs are a little tight for my liking. As for the play, might need to look at some ‘shimming’
@@TomleyRC yes, i did that with my 144001 front end...but this is way worse...and guess i need to take it all apart to see whats going on, just so much slop and free play imo...cars got like 30 mins run time on my drive trying to get it to stay trimmed...turns out the internals of the cheap servo have soo much slop also... thats why i decided to mount a metal one i had...that issue was fixed...i had high hopes for this one...but its just a toy grade compared to all my others... i got sucked in by the lights and gyro...lol ..but now radio is useless and so are those lights... anyway it is what it is i will try to get it figured out...thanks

It's hard to ignore how good these are for the money. We have the SG1603 and it's that good, I ordered the same one you have so we have different colour schemes for racing eachother. Sadly the post from China isn't what it used to be 🤬
It’s not the Chinese end that’s the problem mate, I’ve got 3 containers still being held our end 3 weeks after they arrived, thing is I watch the dockyard from my house the so called “quarantine” is literally that! - they are just holding them for weeks on end without even touching them then out they come with some bellend driving the truck on his own with a mask on! This is nothing more than economic bs going on under the guise of the plandemic- no one hate on me please, I’m just stating facts ✌🏼
Is the brushed motor holding up?
@@faiqcreates it's been surprisingly good and reliable. I did buy the brushless kit for it, but it actually ruined it so I converted back to brushed!

disappointed it came unglued like that, cold temp didn't help. it kinda changed my mind about these units.. right when you're talking value, a non horrible hit sends parts flying! AWD with a gyro are cool features, brittle plastics... grrr!
what could be cool.. put those electronics into your WPL D12 with drift wheels on it, just to see how it'll do.

Handles good on 3 wheels , i lost the pin out of my cv joint but my car just spun as my front diff is slack , i fixed my cv i used a cut 1.6mm drill bit ,

This is a drift car not a stunt car.
I regret buying this one before I bought a Hyper Go 14301. This thing is complete garbage. After the fifth run only onroad driving, the diff locked up. Hyper Go forever!
