I just love Cuthbert the otter and his beautiful cloak! As it happens, I am slowly putting together a video which will be a little tour of Durham and its cathedral - including a visit to the shrine and final resting place of St Cuthbert! I hope to finish it once we’re back from our next campervan trip. Thank you, as ever, for sharing your makes in such an enriching way! ❤
Ah, Ms. Helen, I hope that video on Durham is in at least two parts. I can only imagine the stories you will bring forth! Thank you so much for your compliments! I was thinking of you as I worked on Cuthbert and all the ways you've encouraged me in my attempts at making toys - just by the delight you exude in sharing yours! You are a treasure! 💞💕
I love your application of art history! Such a beautiful representation of joy and faith. I especially like that you used the fancy yarn, much like illuminated manuscripts. 🎉
Aww, thanks, sweet friend! Means so much to hear your lovely heart! 💓💓
Very cute otter! I haven’t met Ella in person but I was fortunate enough to be in a sweater collab with her and she is a nice and genuine as she seems!
Thank you, Shannon! 😊 💕
What a lovely amigurumi brought to life by St Cuthbert. 😊❤
Thank you, Ms. Pamela! ❤💙
Very interesting 🤓 I enjoyed this mini history lesson, your ami Cuthbert is a cutie pie and the cloak is very nice , you did an excellent job on the face, I also panic just a little when I try to make a face on an ami , it's not my favorite part, maybe I need more practice
Thank you! Glad I'm not the only one who gets nervous working amigurumi faces! 😅❤️
I'm the same way--the faces are tricky for me, so I tend to avoid the amis.
@@GDR619 I'm so thankful for Cassandra's tutorial (and others) that are helping me find the courage to take the plunge on faces more often. In one of her recent videos, she mentioned having to redo the eyes three times or so. There is definitely a learning curve there! Hugs! 💞💞
Your otter is so well done! I love how you made the cape/cloak. And now I know a little about St. Cuthbert, which is fantastic. The lemon bag you got is lovely. I'm sure it will be nice to take with you on your trip. 🙂
Thank you, dear heart! You are so encouraging! That little notions pouch is already proving to be indispensable! 😁💖
Safe travels and enjoy family time❤️
Thank you, Ms. Betty Lou! 💕❤️
Hi Mary, love the otter and the story of Cuthbert. The hat and the cardigan are lovely. Your mushroom cat on the shelf is so cute. I still want to have a look at our library for the Pic a pau books. Travel safely love Colleen, Cape Town SA
Thank you, Ms. Colleen! You are so kind! 💗💗 Hoping you can find that Pica Pau book in your library!
I love how you take a pattern and make it with your own twists😁 I love Cuthbert, and the story behind him! - Melissa
Thank you, Ms. Melissa! You are so kind! 💕💞
Thank you from the UK
You're so very welcome! 💖💖
Your channel is such a joy to watch! The creativity you put into your projects is an inspiration! I tend to stick with what i know, but you help me get the courage to try new things!
How kind of you to say so! I'm so glad I could encourage you! That makes my day! Hope yours is beautiful! 💓💓
I really enjoyed this video
I'm so glad! Thanks for taking the time to tell me so! 💕💞
I enjoyed seeing your otter so much, and getting a little history thrown in as well ❤ Enjoyed visiting with you as always.
It's so hard to turn off the "teacher" part of me 😂 Did you feel the "mix and match" / making it my own vibes? Credit to your influence, dear friend! ❤❤
