The bigger compliment to this artistry than your stankface is when you went completely still and wide-eyed. You were reacting by being absolutely struck into stillness. Loved that. :) I still feel that way after the many, many times I've heard this.
The band is from Chicago, founded in 1994, the song they are best known for is Down with the Sickness, they do a great cover of Sting's If I ever lose my faith in you as well. Excellent reaction.
Disturbed is from Chicago and David Draiman now lives in Hawaii. You should react to his cover of Stings If Ever I Lose My Faith In You and the song Hold On To Memories, which was inspired by the movie Coco that he took his young son to see. Amazing vocals and amazing band.
Beautiful right done with such Respect and Grace of another Artists message! Ga~Goose~bumps! Or your lying….thanks for listening w/out critiquing til the end that’s what keeps one like I ✅in w/u👏🤘🤟✌️
I didn't listen to heavy metal...until this song. It opened my eyes and my ears! Great reaction! I would like to recommend another Disturbed song, " The Vengeful One."
Thanks for reacting to this, it's another favorite. I stumbled across the video for this a few years back and simply lost my mind. Must have watched it a dozen times, back to back. Although live performances are typically my favorite... Draiman was actually really sick the night he did this, believe it or not. Like Dimash was sick when he sang Daybreak on Singer - it's so spectacular you don't miss anything until you hear him sing it when he was well. So it's worth listening to the video - it doesn't appear that the voice has been messed with - AND - the Disturbed video is incredibly poetic and powerful. So - check it out here, or just for yourself, but don't miss it. It's truly worth seeing and it emphasizes how they've taken this Simon and Garfield classic to a whole new level.
@@mattcriscuolo1541 sub'd with your first Dimash reaction. I'm out here and hangin'. Yesterday went directly from here to watch the vid again, btw, and it had me in tears again within seconds.
I am so glad I found your channel! Don't comment very often on reaction videos, but just wanted to say thank you for your fantastic reactions! Much Love and Respect, Mandi 🍃💞🍃
Love Disturbed.... ❤ this live version of the song... David has a very well trained voice... as you most likely know by now, it is Very different from most of their music. Hope you have enjoyed more from Disturbed since you put out this video.
David Draiman....of the band Disturbed were originally out of Chicago. David has a powerful yet soulful voice that can go from warm baritone to angelic tenor, from clear as a crystal to rasp/distortion/vocal fry and back on a dime, which is incredibly difficult to do and he makes it look so damn easy! He has a timbre in his voice that I've never heard before.....just hauntingly beautiful and pure tonal properties to it! An awesome talent and obvious training to deliver what he does!! Loved your reaction and your take on David's performance Matt. Try "Deceiver", "The Night", "Indestructible", "The Light", "Enough", "Violence Fetish" by Disturbed too. They're a "bit" heavier than this song....LOL...
Touchée en plein cœur❤❤ La plus belle version jamais entendue!! Meilleure que l'originale... Quelle voix puissante et intense!! Whaoouh! Merci de partager tes réactions👍 👋 de Marseille🌞France🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
The True meaning...Back in the 60's...was a time of War, Discrimination, Racism, blatant fundamental Civil Rights worthlessness far worse in ways than today. One could NOT speak out without major consequences (like being threatened of your life for speaking out.) Comedians could get away with it in sarcasm, and through music, the "messages" could not be stopped...In that time communication was very bleak with only fuzzy radio, and fuzzy tv, and newspapers...that's it, absolutely no where to voice concerns in truth ...So when musicians (Bands) became very popular/famous where millions would hear...They became very powerful and a serious threat as influential to the masses to change, in demanding equality, freedom, revealing hypocritical religions (neon God they made) etc...The population always knew music's truth...but remained silent out of fear, of retaliation, disfranchisement, so no one dared (other than fans stereotyped as hippies and Blacks that did protest and riot against the establishment for change) and paid consequences...Musicians (bands) were always broken up due to their claimed mass influence, through suspected mysterious ways, from death of a featured performer, in plane crashes, overdoses etc..by breaking them up in ways equal to that of "looking like an accident"...The biggest protest amongst humanity, (in that time mind you) was the technology of people talking without speaking, and hearing without listening (the seeds planted as you slept...but one's eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light that split the night)...(and literally your life)... removing the true sounds of silence, considered as loss of free will...People were sent to nut farms and literally destroyed for voicing aloud of such truths...Although it does fit differently today with texting...The writing on subway walls was like tenement halls in that time, it was very much like bumper stickers, or hallmark sayings...with lots of WISDOM and COMMON SENSE that came from the poor and oppressed and was their ONLY way to speak out truths in protest...In spite, to stop the messages of truth in war against the establishment through music...it would always survive to carry its messages that remain and echo in the wells of silence...That still echo like this song from the 60"s is echoing from those age old wells of silence...The official version best represents it from its time...
Chicago.I consider this their finest cover, but they have done many more. All music I grew up with and would pay tribute to if I had the talent.Faith No More,U2,Genisis...the list is huge.Don't stop at covers.Their entire history is worth a listen."My brothers and sisters,my blood."
First time watching your reviews sir, well done! I especially like the fact that you have the video on large screen and you in the box as it were. Much nicer format, again well done! If you have not heard of the Mavericks I would encourage you to give them a review as well. Here are a few suggestions I'm sure you will like. search for them on youtube under these titles: Raul Malo: I Don't Care/Swinging Safari/Lion Sleeps Tonight, The Mavericks "Come Unto Me" at the 2012 Americana Music Festival, The Mavericks - In Austin - All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down. Again thank you for a good review.
I'm glad you enjoyed it)) Thanks for viewing)) Stay connected for more exciting music reactions from Matt😎 “I would like to start doing some live interviews of up-and-coming artists to highlight them and give them some exposure. Can you make any suggestions? Please email info@mattcriscuolo.com Thank you!”
The original video is worth watching. I would be interested in your opinion of it. What a performance with great 'pipes'. Great range and breath control. I don't see you have reviewed Phil Collins. IMHO think his 2004 Paris performance of 'In the Air Tonight' is equal.
Hey, disturbed are one of my favorites, the music is incredible 👍💖👍💖 & David draiman can sing anything. This isn't typical of disturbed, songs like prayer indestructible, inside the fire, stupify, down with the sickness, stupify are.Disturbed are originally from Chicago & formed in 1996??? If you haven't already, check out the story of how the band got together,it's pretty funny 😂😂😂
Thanks so much smith)) I so much appreciate your comment)) Stay connected, be well)) Thanks “I would like to start doing some live interviews of up-and-coming artists to highlight them and give them some exposure. What is your thought? Please email info@mattcriscuolo.com Thank you!”

The band is from Chicago, founded in 1994, the song they are best known for is Down with the Sickness, they do a great cover of Sting's If I ever lose my faith in you as well. Excellent reaction.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO COMMENT. REALLY APPRECIATE IT. STAY IN TOUCH, THANKS! ))
Disturbed is from Chicago and David Draiman now lives in Hawaii. You should react to his cover of Stings If Ever I Lose My Faith In You and the song Hold On To Memories, which was inspired by the movie Coco that he took his young son to see. Amazing vocals and amazing band.
THE COVER....OF ALL COVERS....DAVID MAKES ALL OTHER ARTISTS QUIVER...FEARING THAT DAVID WILL MAKE THEIR SONG HIS OWN....AND BETTER...
Finally...someone gave the kettle drummer some love! That maff tore them shits up!
Yuh! ))
I absolutely love the kettle drums man he rocks
Love the lethargic vibe!
Get ready for a religious experience! Moves me to my very soul! It's a thing of beauty!
Same here. In my younger days you couldn't have paid me to listen to metal music. I'm 64 now and loving all of Disturbed's songs!
THANKS FOR THE HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE INFO. HELPFUL TO NOT ONLY ME BUT OTHERS AS WELL. BE WELL. PLS SUB SO WE CAN STAY IN TOUCH ))
@@mattcriscuolo1541 sub'd with your first Dimash reaction. I'm out here and hangin'. Yesterday went directly from here to watch the vid again, btw, and it had me in tears again within seconds.
He sang down with the SICKNESS
I love David’s chin piercings.. it is sexy.. David is one of the best singers out there.. check out down with the sickness..
Dude loved your reaction
I am so glad I found your channel! Don't comment very often on reaction videos, but just wanted to say thank you for your fantastic reactions! Much Love and Respect, Mandi 🍃💞🍃
You are so welcome!
Down With The Sickness will show you his range.
Love Disturbed.... ❤ this live version of the song... David has a very well trained voice... as you most likely know by now, it is Very different from most of their music. Hope you have enjoyed more from Disturbed since you put out this video.
A song that gives all gooseies!
I love this song so much! 😇
You need to see & hear the Video!!!!!!!!!
❤❤❤
I LOVE your reactions and responses. I subscribed! Goosies!
Touchée en plein cœur❤❤
La plus belle version jamais entendue!!

Yeah, that was one of those performances you don't see many times in one life time.
This and Kelly Clarkson's live performance of Piece by piece at the idols farewell season always give me the chills. Beyond awesome 😂🔥❤️
Ciao Matt. Grande versione, molto amata da Paul Simon. Grazie. 🤗
DAVID IS A BEAUTIFUL JEWISH MAN HE SOUNDS LIKE A MAN OF GOD
First time here. Great reaction!
Best Cover Ever!!!!!!
You should check out "Stricken". Really shows his pipes.
'Cancel Culture' of the 60s/70s
Chicago Illinois I think he's been in a band since 1988 he does all the arrangements and he's a producer. 🥇
And you would even have a bigger stankface, knowing that David Draiman was sick as hell that night and performed anyway !!!
Stupendo❤❤❤❤❤
You need to see the official reaction, much grittier!
Wowwww!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it))
Thanks for viewing))

Had the flu during this performance
50? Damn I am never guessing people's ages, I would insult so many people if I had to guess ages nowadays.😂 Great reaction though!
The original video is worth watching. I would be interested in your opinion of it. What a performance with great 'pipes'. Great range and breath control.
I don't see you have reviewed Phil Collins. IMHO think his 2004 Paris performance of 'In the Air Tonight' is equal.
Gravitas,great term!
Chicago.. and apparently he was under the weather going into the performance. David also was disappointed with the performance.
This goes close to beating the original. Amazing
Thanks so much smith))
I so much appreciate your comment))
Stay connected, be well))
Thanks

Try the light. Great song, great video, also hold on to the memories, uninvited guest
What does MUFKA mean?
To me this is not the best rendition of this song as he was very sick. Watch his origional video of this song and you get the real David
henk poort sings this song 10x better
