I booked the very first “preview” sailing on the Ascent that embarks the week of Thanksgiving. I’ll report back if you’re interested. But, totally agree with you, the Ascent looks almost identical to the Beyond with minor aesthetic changes. The Edge class ships are my favorite of any cruise line, but we’ll see if that still holds true after my Virgin Voyages sailing.

We booked our Ascent for April 2025. Knowing how much new ships cost to book, we were happy with our Sunset Veranda deck 9 aft-$2500 total per 2. But it's one of the best cabins on the ship. Having said that, our Alaska Radiance of the Seas for same year inside cabin is only $299 per person! I am so interested in the pool deck sculpture like the heart, elephant and the butterfly...wondering what Ascent will have! So what is the link for Wonderverse to hang out on Ascent!!! I am also sailing in the Sunset Veranda! I can't wait for the views. I'll be sure to give you a good preview as soon as I finish my cruise in December. Thanks for the video. Just booked a Caribbean cruise on the Ascent for New Years. Being that it's modeled after the beyond, I'm sure it's going to be nice, but I really wish they would release some computer generated images at least. I don't see an actual video tour coming out until it sails.

@rebeccawells111 agreed not a lot of info. This week we found out two things. Le Voyage will have a new menu on the Ascent and Blu will have an outside seating area. As soon as there is enough information, I'll make an update video but so far.....this is it!
I think they made some minor changes inside. Different colors and modifications to the casino and some of the dining rooms. Usually ships are done on twos. The edge and Apex are the same, The Beyond and the Ascent will be the same. If you go to Royal, the Oasis and the Allure are the same. The Harmony and the Symphony are the same, except for the solarium pool. The other cruise lines, Carnival, and NCL do the same thing. After the 2nd ship is built, the changes are more evident.
I just got a group deal for a superior balcony ( IV ) for 2 Jan, 2025 for $3037.00 for 2 with the All Included, including tips and #250.00 OBC, and refundable deposit. I priced this on Celebrity's web site at over $5000.00. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier.
I don't know. I just went for the price. There were only a few cabins left on that cruise with the group. It's a TA group, not an organization.@@tomsunday
She will love it! It is missing a lot of the kid activities that you would see on RC ships but I noticed a lot of kids loved the Beyond. I'm assuming it will be the same for the Ascent!
Just put the deposit down, and learned that they are now selling with $200 onboard credit. What should I do? Can I ask them to match the credit? Doesn't make sense to cancel and rebook because the deposit is nonrefundable 😢😢
You simply have to call them and they will take care of the changes for you. You can price adjust all trhe way to the final payment date. Its very easy and you should definately get the best deal and most on board credit! I wonder if this is the same for me. I should check my own booking. Thank you for the heads up.
Prices keep climbing and according to Jason Liberty they are still too low and he wants to raise them anywhere from another 15%-25%. We have two trips left including the Ascent which we already paid for and these will be our last two cruises after 20 years. In a nutshell they are out of their minds with pricing and we have shifted back to land based vacations beginning the Spring of 2025. This cruise bubble too will burst as history has proven its just a matter of time.

Well said. This bubble will burst and they will be left with a lot of debt and a ruined reputation. He has a very short term goals in my opinion.
