Well I watched the video, .... a lot, and it finally convinced me to buy one, same colour. I had a defender once before I loved it but aways found it too top heavy. But thanks to your video and tips, I took the bait and bought one..... now I just have to explain where it came from.
I just bought one and it’s about my favorite thing since ever. Had a bunch of phantom drones before, t Maxx, emaxx etc. this ones my favorite overall. I take it with me hiking all the time and it can manage just about any terrain a human can short of a completely vertical climb! I must get at least an hour of run time on a 5000Lipo.
This looks absolutely stunning!!!! Wow and you did a fantastic job on that impossible climb. (It's not cheating using the Winch as it's part of the cars equipment lol).
Stoked that you’re having a blast here in HK. Learning lots from your channel as a beginner RC enthusiast. I still remember my white Nikko buggy over 30 years ago! I love a crawler as we can play with it anywhere. Keep up the good work RC 🥝 🥝
I got pretty lucky buying my bronco edition TRX4, I live close to the Traxxas HQ and their own largest store. They were offering the winch for free if you bought the bronco edition. I absolutely love it so far! Although you said you think the videos are cringy sometimes, I much prefer the commentary of your driving over running videos with music blasting in the background!
I've just recently fallen in love with crawling so I ended up getting a trx4 new bronco recently and I've been watching TONS of trx 4 vids the past few weeks and let me just tell you this was one of the most fun TRX4 vids I've seen lately and it was a stock run! Awesome work Brotha!!!
Fantastic crawl Joe, trx4 are the bomb man, and the newest iteration is the best, you are correct about power and weight, it’s nose light and slightly underpowered in certain situations, but for a starter kit it’s awesome. Best upgrades are a stronger servo, and some brass portal on the front. Power is a personal thing….
I'd have to say, it's got to be the red Defender, all day, every day. I think it's absolutely stunning to look at, even though, I might have a slight biased tendency towards the Defender simply because I'm British 🤣😂🤣 Let me know in the comments, what do you think? 🇬🇧
Sometimes when I get stuck out on my four wheeler I will find a large rock to wrap my winch around and then throw that rock over a ledge . It usually works pretty good
Gotta get those headlights and tail lights! They look fantastic in person and if you have the remote link you can customize them more (run daytime running lights while having rear lights, brake/reverse lights, and turn signals which isn’t possible without the link)

I'm new to this Hobby, it normally would love to watch your bashing videos. I got to admit, I did not think that RC rock crawling can be this entertaining. I watch the full 18 minutes and loved every minute. I may need to look for a crawler RTR my next RC.

Good job...well.done. I have a TRX-4 Blazer and a TRX sport, both are awesome I love the looks of the blazer but the sport might be a little better crawler just for the fact that the body is a little smaller and not as high or bulky....but yes both do great and even better with a few modifications....👍👍
Really struggling between the bronco or the defender, I love the look of the defender much more, but it’ll be cool if you will do a comparing video between both of them
@@andrewhaley7426 defender is slightly longer wheelbase by about 7mm, doesn’t sound a lot but it does make a difference. Merc, sport and bronco all share the same chassis, defender is “different” lol

This is an awesome video. Great run and an excellent very capable rig. I've just got myself a TRX 4 Ford F150 high trail metallic brown but I've swapped to the 1.9 wheels and 4.6 tyres to lower it a little bit. And personally I think it looks better with the 1.9 wheels. Those 2.2 wheels and 5.3 tyres looked kind of silly. And I wanted to make life easier for the steering servo by using the 1.9 wheels too. I was almost going to get a Bronco and the tough part was deciding either 1979 Bronco or 2021 Bronco. As for all the Traxxas haters out there , they can just shut up about it , they're jealous .The TRX 4 is an insanely capable very good platform and an awesome crawler. I didn't even need to buy a Traxxas battery or charger because I'm using an aftermarket battery from a previous car & I have with an adaptor plug to fit the Traxxas ESC. Works a treat. I'm in Australia and the shop I brought it from tried everything they could to dissuade me from buying Traxxas. This happened also when I tried buying other trucks too. They only want to push Arrma. Beware of metro hobbies in Melbourne. They might be getting payed by Arrma's distributor to push Arrma. Great video Joe. You have my subscription.👌👍
It's the solid front axle on the TRX4 when the full size Bronco is IFS that gets me... I'm a bit of a pedant when it comes to stuff like that. It would never stop bothering me whenever I drove/wrenched or even thought about it. Another sweet video mate, thank you.. Stay safe out there & best wishes from Scotland.
Love the look and features but hate the price of traxxas products especially when you have to pay import fees and taxes this truck is nearly the same price as the x-maxx in Canada
Those tyres don't seem as supple as the one I have on my trx4 defender from stock. Mine wrinkle etc, maybe it's because the defender body is heavier or they've change the compound 🤷🏼♂️ curtainly don't look as grippy.
Depending where your at….you may want to invest in lightweight snake gaters. I’ve heard you mention snakes in previous videos, and not wearing protection isn’t worth the pain or worse.

For me (Joe) rc jets! For Amber it’s the bashers for sure! But we love them all! Nb4 fells great in the hand, has loads of features and I like it for at the track. But it’s far more fragile and prone to breaking if dropped compared to the rugged. I love the rugged because u can throw it in ur bag and not worry about it breaking. But also I like the fact it’s easy to set up for most of the horizon products that have compatible rx so you don’t need to buy new rx every time 👌 hope that helps! Cheers 🍻

On the tight turns just unlock the rear diff, the front will drag it around and the open rear allows it to turn tighter.

yeah only apart from the fact that it doesn't.🤣the real bronco has independent from suspension and definitely does not have portal axles

Hi Byron, I'm just curious, what are the befits to having 2 trx4's? Are they specced put differently or something?
@@AM-6030 yeah, they are completely different, one weighs 5kgs plus has a hard body, the other is also modded and runs 2.2 wheels
