The game was made in a fourth of the time that Ocarina was, so the dev team didn't have as much time to pad some things out. That said, I think the tight deadline is what made Majora's Mask so good.
I stopped Majora's Moon for the 1st time last week. In that final 3-Day Cycle, I did one better than Chuggaaconroy: I defeated all 4 Temple Bosses. I saved Koume with a Red Potion. I reunited the Royal Deku Family. I reunited the Frog Choir. I won the Goron Race. I sold all of the Title Deeds to all of the Business Scrubs. I followed the Shady Business Scrub. I defeated Igos du Ikana. I stopped the argument in the Mayor's Office. I delivered the Priority Mail to Madame Aroma and got the last Bottle. I raided Sakon's Hideout and witnessed the reunion of Kafei and Anju. I'd say I did a good job bringing justice to Termina, (except for Lon Lon Ranch). THIS is the world I saved. Now, the only thing left to do is face the Masked Children, and then Majora. Wish me luck!
100% speedruns of MM finish the game in 4 cycles, the of which is deku cycle, where nothing happens and the last of which is the Majora fight and children only. So they basically beat the entire game in 2 cycles.
whenever i play this game i always do the kafei quest, romani quest, help whoever i can, and the temple bosses in-between i seriously can't fight the moon without doing these
Set it to 0.25 speed and watch him roll into the blue light in Snowhead. For a little bit, his Goron head is shoved into the floor before transforming...

The songs you learn to open the temples also share the names with the instruments you use The Deku uses The 'Pipes of Awakening' with the Sonata of Awakening Darmani uses The 'Drums of Sleep' with the Goron Lullaby And Mikau uses The 'Guitar of Waves' with the New Wave Bossa Nova! Did anyone else notice this? I am not being cocky or anything, just wanting to share my knowledge

I honestly thought the game would end just after calling the giants. The mask coming to life and possessing the moon, and link entering the moon totally took me by surprise.
In hindsight Majora's Mask possessing the moon seems like an obvious backup plan. The Mask likely split it's power between Skull Kid and the Moon so that when the Skull Kid was rendered useless it just transferred itself over to the moon. The fact that the Moon has the same eyes as Majora's Mask should have showned the influence that the Mask already had over the moon.
One of the things I love about Majora's Mask is the boss replay feature. Shame other Zeldas didn't do that. Helmaroc King and the spinner oss in Twilight Princess were to of my favorites. It's a lot more convenient than making multiple save files.
Imagine how much more powerful Majora's Mask would have been had it chosen someone like Ganondorf as it's host. The Mask even admits that Skull Kid was only able to use a little of it's powers and what Skull Kid was able to do with the Mask is already terrifying enough. Skull Kid seems to have been chosen out of mere convinience to the mask instead of as a proper vessel.

@ chuggaconroy in reference to your ?? at 9:13. I did actually try in game to melt Goht with the hot spring water. Unfortunately it required me to use a cheat code to keep a bottle of hot spring water actually hot until I got to him, for anyone who says it is impossible to get it up there. What it does is it starts acting like it will melt the front of him it’s actually quite a cool animation. But He just re-freezes right into his entire ice block and no matter what you do it seems the fire arrows are the only way around that. NOW YOU KNOW, kids....now you know LOL 😝
Actually, I've tested this out, but Honey & Darling don't kick you out if you shoot them too many times with arrows in the third minigame. And what I've done that was useful is shooting Honey & Darling multiple times during the minigame. When you shoot them, the clock stops for about a second or two. You can keep doing this throughout the minigame, switching back and forth between Honey & Darling and the targets, to give yourself a lot more time.
Even the giants using the force couldn't stop the moon,holy cow,I'll be honest though,the scene where the mask came alive and started talking then going into the moon making its eyes glow,that freaked me out like crazy as kid,lol I think the music is part of the reason ^_^

The ice angle that I was talking about will freeze Link because his forehead touches it before he gets near the base. Actually, the ice that encases Goht may also be too big and it may not be in the programming to have that ice melt from hot spring water (remember that the ice that can melt seems to all be the same size). About the Honey and Darling Shop couple with blue blood... they must be royalty! XD
apparently you can get Goht to run you over in other forms if you shoot a fire arrow to unfreeze him and quickly change form before the arrow melts the boss

You only have to use the Elegy of Emptiness on the Right switch, to summon the block that comes closest. Then, you can jump to it, and play it again in the same form to unpress the switch, and it will bring you over to the other side instantly.

There are 52 Pieces of Heart in MM. That means that on average, Chuggaa got 1 Piece of Heart per episode.
