I lost it.... Completely bawled my eyes out. Last I heard this song was a long time ago. I re started listening HoH in a playlist.. Then when the piano started, I froze, till I realized it was Rundas theme. Then it hit me... To you who arranged this version, thank you. Its wonderful peace.
This is my favorite piece from Harmony of a Hunter and quite possibly my favorite Metroid remix. I love the little hint of what sounds like Phendrana Drifts at the beginning to set the chilling setting. I also loved everything about Rundas, the battle, the lead-up, the remorse of what had to be done... and this piece captures what one feels during all that.
This....is amazingly beautiful, I've no words for it. This really describes the lost of Rundas. Even though I don't own MP3, I can still imagine this song when samus thinks about rundas again.
+Steven (“ppowersteef”) It was so sad. Best secondary character of the whole franchise... and Samus' only friend... saved her ass twice, there was something particular between the two. They should have exploited the character a lot more.
How the heck do you not have more subscribers? There is more intensity, more emotion in that one piano than I hear in entire orchestras. You convey such intensity without ever needing to be loud.

It is going to be 4 years since this song (along with the album) was released back then in 2011. I remember that day with every detail, listening to the live streaming while waiting for the download link. One of the best days of my life, indeed. Listening this and other songs from Hunter bring me back to that day. 2011/8/6. Never forget.

This is such an incredible arrangement and really is one of the best tracks on Harmony of a Hunter. I have no familiarity with the original piece (I'm not much of a Metroid player), but this performance stands on it's own as a simply beautiful piece of music. Thank you so much for sharing it.
I may not have recognized this in the beginning, but when I did recognize, I got goosebumps. That is how awesome Rundas' theme was. And you made it even better. Although, I have one gripe. It seems to lose intensity pretty fast, I'm no music expert, but if there is some way to either increase the intensity, or make it longer, I would be happy. Oh and amazing job on Lone Star! Hopefully I have not offended you. But anyway, I commend you on your amazing skills on the piano.
I love your contributions, man. It's been said before, but this one fits amazingly perfect as an intro to Solitude. Making it my favorite 1-2 punch on the album :)
Amazing song Pyro! I absolutely loved the character of Rundas & to see him die was truly a emotional moment... Listening to this stirred up the feelings of guilt & hate in Dark Samus for not only changing Rundas but having him reach a gruesome death..... Truly a masterpiece Pyro friend :) I'm proud to call this a perfect tribute to Rundas & think it should've played in the BG while you collect the Ice Missiles :P
While a great piece and certainly a great tribute to Rundas, I still much prefer the original. Still, beautiful music! Brings back such great (and sad) memories of that fight...
