They are both from the Philippines and they have performed on Broadway and in international stages both U.S. and UK. Mike, you should try Moris mash of Moon River which was done in 2020, when they were all in quarantine, I suspect that might be more your speed. Secret Love Song, a cover of the song by Little Mix (and DeRulo) might be one more you can try. I realize the two of you are so new to Mori, but she is definitely worth the journey. You've found the right artist if you love "show tunes"! She did several Broadway songs (over the summer duing the pandemic, simply to entertain her homebound fans) on Stages Sessions - Defying Gravity, She Used To Be Mine, Home, Someone Like You. She simply sang these iin her room and you're going to be blown away!! She does, indeed, sing just about every genre (Pop, R&B, Country, some Christian, Hip Hop and yes, she can even Rap) and each song is as capitivating or better than the last!! She covers a lot of artists, including Mariah Carey as she is fondly called The Mariah Carey of the Philippines. (in my humble opinion, Morisette is better) You wouldn't be disappointed to read a bit about this young lady! She's truly humble, loves her fans and is one of the best story tellers of the songs she immerses herself into! She shows so much emotion, incredible power, extraordinary breath control and the list goes on of what this remarkable young talent can do with her voice!!! I'll suggest a couple more because I just should. : )) Akin Ka Na Lang (she sings in her language but with English cc), Fly Like A Bird (a Mariah Carey cover - jaw dropping). She also does 2 versions of Rise Up (Andra Day cover). The one on Wish Bus is beautiful and moving! Thank you very much for this reaction, I have watch this video hundreds of times and still get goose bumps, We had the honor of seeing Mori in concert last year in the Philippine Islands, she sounds just as good live as she does in a video. You guys should really do a reaction to 16 year old Lucy Thomas's performance of NEVER ENOUGH, it's really good, some people have said its better then Mori's version and to think Lucy was only 14 when she recorded it....

Mike, you should try Moris mash of Moon River which was done in 2020, when they were all in quarantine, I suspect that might be more your speed. Secret Love Song, a cover of the song by Little Mix (and DeRulo) might be one more you can try. I realize the two of you are so new to Mori, but she is definitely worth the journey. Morissettes version of Never Enough has more hits than the original, did you notice that

You've found the right artist if you love "show tunes"! She did several Broadway songs (over the summer duing the pandemic, simply to entertain her homebound fans) on Stages Sessions - Defying Gravity, She Used To Be Mine, Home, Someone Like You. She simply sang these iin her room and you're going to be blown away!! She does, indeed, sing just about every genre (Pop, R&B, Country, some Christian, Hip Hop and yes, she can even Rap) and each song is as capitivating or better than the last!! She covers a lot of artists, including Mariah Carey as she is fondly called The Mariah Carey of the Philippines. (in my humble opinion, Morisette is better) You wouldn't be disappointed to read a bit about this young lady! She's truly humble, loves her fans and is one of the best story tellers of the songs she immerses herself into! She shows so much emotion, incredible power, extraordinary breath control and the list goes on of what this remarkable young talent can do with her voice!!! I'll suggest a couple more because I just should. : )) Akin Ka Na Lang (she sings in her language but with English cc), Fly Like A Bird (a Mariah Carey cover - jaw dropping). She also does 2 versions of Rise Up (Andra Day cover). The one on Wish Bus is beautiful and moving! This cover on Wish Bus got taken down a few times because she had more views than Andra Day's original (and managers got "mad" lol). And last, but far from least, Rise Up -Acapella version with a group called 3rd Avenue. It is again, imho, better than the Wish Bus version. She changes it up a bit and it's beautiful!! Ok, so now you're down that rabbit hole of Morissette Amon! You WILL be glad you came!! I can tell you this, though, type in a song you may like and chances are Morissette did a cover! She makes songs her own and can spoil you to not want to listen to anyone else sing them! I'm a bit of a fan (you think?) and I'm from the U.S.!
