- Is that a tornado in the sky sideways over the train? Minutes after a tree crashed onto the roadway trapping me on the south side.. This was in Wisconsin during scary weather!

I'm a meteorologist for the last 34 years. Certified NOAA Skywarn Certified. That's NOT A FUNNEL CLOUD and spin up circulations do occur on squall lines but need an inflow notch. Gustnados are not official tornadoes. Hope this helps. Never stop Chasing.
"The more you know".
Bull
I’m a skywarn spotter aswell in southeast Michigan
😑
@@ironcladvee6229 I have a naked picture of Jill
Oh boy, an actual train, with rain.
But is it on the plain?😊
@@ohiosharon8945 are you insane? 😂
@@JustakidwholikesplanesI heard he was lifted with a crane.
@@atsf47legit the cars better stay in their lane
And that damn god Oh again.
Don't want to burst your bubble. It's a Shelf Cloud with scud. Not a wall cloud no funnel. I'm a NOAA storm spotter.
Can you spot the shit stains on the back of my underwear?
Tornados can occur on the edge of squall lines.
Those ones are usually very brief and weak
That's what I thought too.
Is it possible that the metal fragments sprayed int the clouds by the Government is following the static energy made from the train?
@@woody94fun you never know what is in the vapor trails that some government is spraying on the citizens of the US? I know Uncle Sam works with some civilian carriers to spray. Someday, we’ll be told the truth.
Wow, they weren’t kidding. Tornadoes do sound like trains. You could literally hear it!
Even the clickety clack sounded so train like.
@@alanmcentee9457 and that ding ding ding really had me thinking of trains too.
Yup, definitely a tornado with a warning horn to
Now I know why the sky turns green- it's the train headlights in the clouds!
😂😂
Don't you just love rails filled with vegetation?!?!
I bet people that are not from the area probably assume it's an abandoned track.
Oh yeah, that’s normal
Hey, guy! That is a beautiful video of a train in the north woods and Mother Nature showing off! A great catch!
I so agree!
U0😂@@Candie-ub2yv
Looks like abandoned track with the weeds growing between the rails!!!
No RR crossing gates.
We have a crossing in my neck of the woods without gates or lights. Stop, look and listen.
Oh my, there called clouds. And it's a train!😅 Two rare things never seen before. Seriously!!
Was I the only one waiting for several cars to drive through, ignoring the lights?
A train! How exciting!🥱
Watching a train in tornado weather?.......AWESOME!!!
That's a sick sounding horn !
Sick as a drowned dog!
AND, with funky-azz blinky headlights...
WTF? Which dum-bass government agency mandated that chit?
It's a three chime Nathan with only two chimes working.
That's why.
No its a 5 chime nathan with 1 bell not sounding correctly @FoxWood2222
Jason said you were definitely in the right place at the right time. I’m glad you’re OK.
Oh wow! Clouds! Whooopie!! 🎉
A gnarly sight to behold. Good catches.
So good to see and hear this!
I miss hearing/ seeing trains . Thanks for the video 🎉
Thank you too!
Is it a train or a tornado. It's a trainado.
After movies like Sharkado, don't give Hollywood any ideas. 🙄🤣

Clouds! Oh my 😮
I love trains, and rain.
Hi 🤗😘 I love train sounds tight in my ears 😮
That EMD thump is as impressive as the tornado
Worked at G.M. diesel until they sold out. It was a great job.
I Love trains in railroad crossing
Great capture! In both regards.
1999, a tornado was on the ground in the Midwest. An EMS crew transmitted: "Dispatch, be advised we have lost power at the station and hear what sounds like a train... Suspect tornadic activity in the area" Later the crew said that right after they said that, a nearby railroad crossing signal started gong off and they felt bad thinking "Please, oh please let it be a tornado..." It was indeed an F4 Tornado that traveled over 24 miles on the ground.
Scary, bit cool. Broken pole crossing.
Glad you're safe
Long long short long. ...ahhh that takes me back.
I’m impressed. A train and some rain clouds. Um, wow.
Definitely legit. So many times people say look at the swirl and there’s nothing. It’s spinning the right direction too. What is the date/time/town? I want to check the radar. I work for a large weather company and do some storm chasing on the side. Cool stuff!
6/17/24, approx 11am on County O about 2 miles south of County N in Marinette County, WI. Northern most part of the county near Michigan.
@@jasonasselin nice squall line, looks like you were toward the northern end of it (that segment, there was more approaching Marquette), can definitely see some moments of rotation in there. Good catch!
Nature is beautiful ❤️
Looks like both...train bringing it to you! 😮
I knew that train was slow because of the bend in the tracks ✌️☘️
I am a storm spotter/chaser in Ohio, and whenever I see videos like this with trains and weather, it makes me. Think of the 1974 Xenia, Ohio tornado, since a Penn Central train was going through at the time, the crossing had just flashers, and the engineer laid on the horn for a warning
it was a DT&I Train, not a Penn Central train, the DT&I had trackage rights
@@dknowles60 how do you know ? I was in Xenia for the 50th. They even said it was Penn Central. You just want to be proven right or something. It's juvenile to argue about something that happened 50 years ago. It doesn't bring any of the victims back to life, and they should know what train it was, since they had to deal with the aftermath of the tornado
@@dancline2143 i knew the crew. i just like the right facts, it was own by Penn central Ex PRR, but it was a DT&I train the track is gone to day, it is a nice trail to day, do i have the power of God? no will it bring the People back to Life? no
@@dknowles60 I like the right facts too, but I get so damn tired of people arguing things for months at a time. I suppose that you argue the death figures too, since there are different ones given all of the time. While I agree about the right information, I don't know why the name of a yrain bothers people 50 years later, considering that the tracks aren't even there anymore. If you want the correct name known, you better start telling everyone in Xenia, since they all say PC. Again, it doesn't do anything to bring back the dead, and probably most of the crew are now gone
@@dancline2143 Cant handle state of Ohio Records, it Was a DT&I train. the DT&I paid for the Derailment Clean . Source IRS records and State of Ohio records Owner ship Records Ex Prr rr Penn central rr , ever hear of , trackage rights., the Train came from Springfield oh or that is where it Change Crews, the train came from Flat rock Mi, i know more about rail roads then you will ever know
That was incredible!
I love the sound of train horns
That is awesome
Pray the wind doesn't blow the train off track
Wow - braving tornados to bring us some great videos... you are Legend my friend
Fantastic vid, totally great catch, train and tornado. Best Wishes to ya.
That looks terrifying
Did you see the face in the clouds..amazing
How exciting!
A train and a tornado at the same time, your gonna make Tornado the Train jealous bruh 😂
This guy is easily pleased!!!
Wow❤
This is amazing 🤩
Good job
Nice dude, down here near Stevens point we’ve been getting tons of storms and clouds, kind of annoying actually, but not something like this
Good Catch ! ! !
The cars were so scared, they were shaking from fear.
Mooie video
I live 2 blocks from a train track and as soon as i saw this train i heard 1 on my tracks LOL
Awesome video 🎉
Sweet catch.
That's a simple shelf cloud. It's just cool air pushing warm moist air up like a plow where it rises and condenses.
That's wake turbulence caused by the train! 😂
Train wasn't going fast enough. 30 mph won't move a leaf very far.
Awesome 👍😎
nothing to worry about, just a shelf type cloud on edge of a storm/building storm.
I seen something like this in ireland when i was young, we were driving up a mountain called Salt Hill, i looked out over the coast and there it was, much thinner than this one, and spinning much faster (very short lived however) ❤
I like at the end when we discover it was indeed a train.
The new film from Michael Bay... TRAINADO!
Nice shot man,,thanks 😅
That cloud WAS MOVING FAST
The trees were totally still for most of the video as the train approached the crossing. Then the topmost branches waved briefly, then stopped. Quite a mild tornado.
a lot of excitement in a little room
Not only do tornados sound like trains, they look like them too!
With other tornadoes coming through upstate New York recently all I can think is everyone always says it sounds like a freight train… we have a freight train every 10 minutes here so I’m here in a train thinking there’s a tornado and it’s freaking me out
knew this was Wisconsin before I looked at the title lol
I love trains.
Oh look, a cloud ☁️
Wow! Wow! A cloud in the sky! Save us!
SO ! ... That's why people always describe tornadoes as sounding like a freight train
"Is it a train or a tornado?" "YES!!!!!"
🎶 I heard the train is coming
It's coming around the track 🎶
Holly smokes, somebody call Bat man lol
Awesome video
I do love me some shelf clouds.
I would be laughing my head off if the lights/alarm came on, then a tornado funnel - Following the tracks perfectly - Passed by... 😁
Was under one, huge 2-3 miles long, when it got overhead the wind blew at least 60. It was the kind of micro downburst that crashes airplanes. Last year, cell phone at home 80+ early morning, felt a cold breeze and watched a black cloud approach while I was getting gas. Thinking cold air over this very hot mall strip. 30 sec later looking up into a funnel cloud forming. A minute later it was a small tornado and another joined it from the side over center of Zebulon NC. Another minute and gone. 3X something said get back for your phone that morning.
if that were a tornado, you should move away from the train. If the tornado picked it up, you would be in peril. It would be too little too much. I'm glad you lived another day.
Awesome recording....
I'm a fake meteorologist and that's definitely a funnel cloud! Hope this helps!
Really hard to believe that you have like almost 7000 views for this little storm
330,000 views.
As long as I know few hundred meters before the crossroad there are two consecutive rails connected by insulator. There’s an electrical circuit connected to each of both rails but because of the insulator the circuit is open. When the first steel wheel of the locomotive passe the gap between the rails it acts as an electrical switch, circuit closes and red light signal turns on.
Double Rainbow, Double Rainbow!
Holy cow!
He stopped before crossing lights went on and said hurry up...
Wow!
When I was growing up we moved into a house that was next to some train tracks. We heard that tornadoes sounded like trains. A train came through the first morning we were there and my mom jumped up screaming tornado....!! She stepped all over my dad's chest trying to get to me and my sister. 😂😂😂
Me: Thinking y is he out there?? 🤨and my ass would be in the HOUSE!! 😨🫣
Him: HOLY CRAP!!!! It's spiraling right over my HEAD MAN!! 😛🤪
Omg clouds!!!
That engine has the worst horn ever lol
The fact that the train is slow hell
Tornado is the first time I was thinking
3 headlights and a very loud horn? I'd say it's a tornado.
The lights and horn sequence he blew is legally required by FRA.
I used to hate walking up to the switch in this weather on BNRR
Last time I saw a storm like that, a house landed on a witch
Hm...the Long Black Train?
Wild ❤
Clouds are watching the train
These were my exact thoughts a few hours ago, taking a dump.
Saw a couple of those in (of all places) California in death valley. hail and lightening shooting out of it. sideways funnel clouds. way more detailed when you see it in person
Hahaha!Thats al i can say about this..Ridiculous!They call that a train!hahaha!
It's a good thing tornadoes have warning lights and horns. That will save a lot of lives!
