- First time swimming with Bella our new wild gator! Alright, so it’s only a few seconds of it actually 😂 we’re going to be posting the full video of that on our other channel Florida’s Wildest, we just haven’t had a minute to edit and post it! It’s been soooo busy here at the sanctuary!!

I just can't express how important these vlogs have been for me while I'm in the hospital. I'm guaranteed 20-30mins of smiling and giggles from your menagerie. I have to say that I'm kinda sad about something though. Little Baby Emu is losing their Baby Emu stripes 😢😢😢 It's time to get new babies 😂😂😂 J/K!!! I think I like that Hazel has turned her crazy banshee screaming into something close to excitement. She knows that it's time to eat and starts to jump around screaming like crazy!! I can TOTALLY relate 😉
I'm pretty sure that the "stupid questions" are only from those that don't know you, your background or what your sanctuary is about. Anyone watching for any decent amount of time, that has watched you and Gabby building, knows the who, what, why and how of all your enclosures. ❤❤❤
Out-of-pocket until they find grants or sponsors. They've spoken about finding the dream income stream for the animals & trade-network of sanctuaries to keep all the animals happy. I think they should be using galvanized-carports b/c they can be purchased with hurricane ratings.

The guard at the top is the same thing you do to keep cats in. My hubs grandmother had her yard done like that for her kitties.

I love how Chris has a different tone of voice depending on which animal he is talking to- very sweet with Daisy, sort of sing-songy with Julie and more serious with Petunia! Always very guarded with Kit Kat lol😊. I can have the video playing and guess who is on the screen based on the tone of his voice!!

I LOVE your sanctuary and LOVE your videos! All that kindness and care that you put into your animals is indescribable. Thank you for what you two do! I have always thought of what will happen to my blue front amazon (which I have had for 22 years) when I pass away. She is now 35, I am 69. I wish I could Will her to a place like yours, but I live in Washington State.

Too funny. The name of your sanctuary makes me think it was labeled after Hazel and her screaming. I literally had no idea what a fox even sounded like…..until now.
Talk about all of the animals you save Osami is my favorite.
Definitely nicer than our little dog lol. But all of our animals are always hand me downs or rescue. And unless a single animal like rabbit or Guenia pig every other animal is fixed.

Excellent vlog! Loved seeing Zahir (Zaheer? not sure of spelling). A calm, cuddly Jet was cool. As for the croc areas, I can only assume the folks asking about the safety of the enclosures haven’t been following you for very long. Nor have they seen other channels that house & interact with crocodilians. Your personal safety standards go far beyond what’s legislated. And, I’d think folks that saw you swimming with wild alligators out in nature & training wild & captive bred gators & crocs at the level you train them…surely those people could assume you know a thing or two about building a safe enclosure. Just sayin. God bless!

jet sounds just like me from the western aus where its hot as helll but i moved east where its colder and i love it and during hot days i survive where others didnt it just makes me grumpier but still thriving
good to have a good fence. wouldnt want the emu's to get in and eat the crocodillians.

Asami is a pet surrender. The prior owner probably removed her scent gland before getting her.
I saw someone mention some animals especially reptiles see the camera as a big predator eye looking t them so a lot of them won't eat on camera. Makes perfect sense to me, the monitor might eat better when the camera isn't so close to him ;-)

He just spent 3 years in a wire bottom 4x4 cage. I’m sure he’s depressed and broken. It isn’t worrisome, humans have always been mean to him. It’s to be expected.

Just saying, no intent to discourage your needs... 3-days-tame, bathing with wild-gators is kinda out-of-my-range. but I'm staying to see the possible scarring, best of luck but we've all seen one of those gator-tamer clips. Though I'm also curious of the insect-control & expect snake attacks on your birds as I've even lost large-hens to the bone-cracking strength of rat-snakes.
Chris is very experienced working with gators and Crocs.
@@meloneyparker I do ponder both ways as my feral-cat is more enjoying to pet than my house-cat b/c he must lick your hand first or he'll try to bite you for touching him. & he can tell the difference in water vs his saliva. He also does play-purr-petting where the house-cat doesn't do all three at the same time.
