A picture can speak a thousand words and music can speak the unspeakable. Combined you can get some of the highest forms of artistic moments for the mind.
The Tau'va is one of the most interesting concepts of 40K for me. I really like how the T'au stand out among the other races. At face value, they're the "good guys" in a galaxy FILLED with horrible things. But, if you look deeper, it's debatable whether T'au society is actually good for its people or not. GW gave them a a cool Confucianism-inspired (I think?) twist, and I like how you reflected that with the central Asian music influences in this video.
Rather akin to how eastern philosophy is viewed as a foundation of benevolent indifference and yet we often overlook their capacity for violence and even destruction. I love that juxtaposition in narrative and it’s one of the things that draws me to 40k in general. The T’au are a great example.
Ultimately all those races are out for one thing, self perservation in the galaxy that since the dawn of time was doomed.
Same with the Tau, their methods of subversive control from the ethereals to the casts is ultimately no different than the charade's of man, prior and during the imperium era.
@@EldritchSkies Yes, the eastren philosophy practes such a thing as benevolent indifference to nature, where one is not required to act against crime.
In budhist cults they practice entire philosophies on the mortality of things and produce great works of sand art they wipe clean... BUT, They also believe in reincarnation.
And reincarnation is NOT a form of impermanence but a form of permanence, just one of recycled change. So in all truth, Budhism and such philosophies, even westren worship one thing and one thing only... BOTH SIDES. BOTH DUALITIES. yin and yang, black and white, good and evil.
The world is an arena, the galaxy in 40k is an arena. A chessboard.

Obligatory suggestion: Planetary Governor ambience.
