Good photographs of old Newcastle.ive been collecting these booked for a long time but I must admit there are some there I haven't got so thanks.i googled hat shops in Newcastle and the only one I come up with was a Mrs Jones hat shop.which was in Drayton Street Newcastle.there was a picture of it when I looked on Google.the picture you put up is of a hat shop belonging to a Edwin Handforth which was at 45 Piccadilly Hanley.loved the picture of Maggies Corner.brought back memmories it was a great shop.sad when it closed.it did open up again but it was in Congleton.we visited but it wasent as good.
i have another video coming on next saturday, old photos of newcastle but black and white first and then colorized after, arnt sure if they are all in newcastle but i think most of them are. let me know if they arnt.
