A good scout player can be effective on any map that isn't choke filled or lacks flank routes. I was surprised when he said scout is bad in attack/defense, he was really talking out of his ass there.
Wow what an incorrect assumption, when you change classes from engineer, all your buildings are immediately destroyed when you respawn as a different class
Webbsies No. what he’s saying is switch to engineer to help upgrade the teleporter that’s already built by your other teammate. Then switch back to scout after your done helping.
"Scout is not for the beginners of the tf2". Then no class is good for the beginners of the tf2 if the enemy team is tryharders that have 10000+ hours.
Also helpful to aiming: Just use your mouse to turn, not to aim. Instead of trying to track your opponent- your high speed plus their own movment makes this hard- just look in their direction and simply strafe until your crosshair lines up. You should be strafing regardless to make yourself a difficult target, so just doing this doesn't require you to do anything special, but helps you not miss.
Number 7 should be ignored when facing an advanced player. As the double jump removes any strafing abilities you have until you land. Making you easy to predict.

Great video! One thing I'd mention they didn't cover in the Medic section is that you actually buff the Medic's movement speed when he pockets you if your base speed is higher than his, so Scout makes the Medic get back to the fight in the least amount of time besides a friendly teleporter
#10 and most important Not using the holy mackerel, and exclusively the holy mackerel This is a common mistake made by even seasoned professionals, and they commonly overlook the strongest weapon in the game. When you use the mackerel, not only will you humiliate your enemies to the point where they ragequit, you’ll look cool doing it. No matter what, use the mackerel. Fighting a spy? Use the mackerel. Fighting a heavy? Use the mackerel. Fighting a pyro? Use the mackerel. *thisisajokedonttakeitseriouslyijustenjoyusingthemackerel*
Scout is hard countered by sentries. And considering how many people play medic, there most likely isn't going to be a spy and soldier combo to take out the nest.
Let me get this straight. Medics refuse to heal Scout if he needs it, and so he has to rely on medkits? But what if the Medic needs them? Scout shiuld only go to resupply lockers? It's a pretty bad argument to make as it depends on the situation.
yes, i know, this is old video. but.. 2:28 this is why i use candy cane. it might be risky since enemy team can take your deserved healin' bottle, and you also drop one on death so it can literally heal your enemies, but.. if you rarely die and don't meet soldiers and demos much - it can become pretty much a melee pocket blautsauger (it gives health only on kill instead) yes, mad milk is better and more effective, but i run pretty boy pistol instead since my primary kinda lacks ammo (bfb) and also the pistol can not only heal, but also DAMAGE enemies.
Soldier can change to Shotgun to shot the scout, Demoman can only try hit with the pipes, not have a secundary option to try kill the scout, stick traps can be avoid. That's the point of he say.
With the healing part, try to keep calling medic to cases where you can’t run to a health pack (but don’t blame them if they don’t hear you over gunfire) or if you’re pushing , or if the teleported is down yell medic to see if they want a speed boosts to the front line

Alpha_Virus да ладно, а я то не знаю. Только слепой не увидит поломанного пиромана и еще половину механик в этой игре ,в придачу с кучей бесполезного оружия и на разные классы
Medics, always renember. Only heal scouts to go to the frontlines faster because the speed boost.
Great video! One thing I'd mention they didn't cover in the Medic section is that you actually buff the Medic's movement speed when he pockets you if your base speed is higher than his, so Scout makes the Medic get back to the fight in the least amount of time besides a friendly teleporter
Good aim???
WE’RE TALKIN TF2 MADE BY VALVE
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A HITBOX
#10 and most important
Not using the holy mackerel, and exclusively the holy mackerel
This is a common mistake made by even seasoned professionals, and they commonly overlook the strongest weapon in the game. When you use the mackerel, not only will you humiliate your enemies to the point where they ragequit, you’ll look cool doing it. No matter what, use the mackerel. Fighting a spy? Use the mackerel. Fighting a heavy? Use the mackerel. Fighting a pyro? Use the mackerel.

8:48 I thought I was watching a Nintendo Setup Tutorial.
Delfy:
Scout is the Fastest Class in the game
DemoKnight with 5 Heads and Bootlegger:
*Hol' My Beer*
What I did when playing as scout:
1. Use lv1 teleporter
2. Steal healthpack infront of teammates
3. Repeat
#10: Call Medic when you have near-full health...
Also, Scout Story: A Medic ubered a Scout and somehow capped every point...
i know i'm a noob, i know my laptop keeps dipping to about 5 fps, i know i can't aim, but it feels so good when i get some nice hits in,
"You're never out of position if you kill the Medic by two shots"
*DIES.*
Rip lazy purple
Scout is hard countered by sentries. And considering how many people play medic, there most likely isn't going to be a spy and soldier combo to take out the nest.
"considering how many people play medic"
You mean a lot of medics or very scarce amount of medics
Now THIS
is a good content
because it doesn't harm any one,
And its educational.
Delfy: scouts are the fastest in the game
Medic: hold my beer
10th mistake running head first into soldiers
Heavies and sentries are even deadlier
11th mistake: Don't just run into people thinking your gonna hit him one shot
Nice job explaining this I actually learned a thing or two about how to properly play a scout
Just started TF2 awhile ago as Scout main, thanks for the guide! :)
Let me get this straight. Medics refuse to heal Scout if he needs it, and so he has to rely on medkits? But what if the Medic needs them? Scout shiuld only go to resupply lockers? It's a pretty bad argument to make as it depends on the situation.
I play so much scout and this video helped me so much to be the best in scout
Who liked my comment??
Go make "9 Demoman mistakes"
Well Valve should include like instructions in TF2 with all of the mistakes you shouldn't make for each class
yes, i know, this is old video. but..
2:28 this is why i use candy cane. it might be risky since enemy team can take your deserved healin' bottle, and you also drop one on death so it can literally heal your enemies, but.. if you rarely die and don't meet soldiers and demos much - it can become pretty much a melee pocket blautsauger (it gives health only on kill instead)
yes, mad milk is better and more effective, but i run pretty boy pistol instead since my primary kinda lacks ammo (bfb) and also the pistol can not only heal, but also DAMAGE enemies.
Scunt xD
But there were a 1 scene of engineer's mistake "Building lover"
7:59 *5 scouts* 8:01 WAIT A MINUTE.
Thanks for the knowledge on scout, now I can be unstoppable on 2Fort with the sentry down there camping.
My favorite class is scout! Delfy thanks for the biggest tips!
"This includes the demo, as he can't even use his shotgun to kill you."
*mistake much?*
Yeah I heard that too lol
Soldier can change to Shotgun to shot the scout, Demoman can only try hit with the pipes, not have a secundary option to try kill the scout, stick traps can be avoid. That's the point of he say.
6:26 i never know demo has a shotgun :/
_Meeediiiiiiiiics.... Don't heal Scouts~_
This was rlly helpful cuz im a scout Main so thanks for making this :D
The only time I use a teleporter as a scout is when no one is coming out
Hmmm koth is definitely not bad for scouts
*Dont let Heavy to enter the teleport! Just use it yourself! :-D*
*[sarcasm intensifies]*
so wat this vid just told me is that my brothers can no longer critisize my 300 hours and scout maining
The music makes this seem like an airplane security guide video.
Thanks for questioning how I stop my mistakes being scout this really helped
Not using the fast learner
nice reference to the medics dot heal scouts song by random ecounters
D o t
But if we have 5 MGE master's scouts ?😐😐😐
😈
Nice to Scout Rush ,even the sentry will die in a second
As someone who's learning to main Scout, this really helped. Thank you. :3
With the healing part, try to keep calling medic to cases where you can’t run to a health pack (but don’t blame them if they don’t hear you over gunfire) or if you’re pushing , or if the teleported is down yell medic to see if they want a speed boosts to the front line
Whenever I see a tele as scout with people walking to it, I run as fast as I can to the tele to take it so the heavy or solly has to wait.
Get -dunked on- kicked for being an annoying scout
xyzzy51273 Welcome to my world
Most spies or scouts actively concede the tele to me, and when i play those classes i do the same.
your fast and quick, so dont be a dick
furiouspixel why would you do that lmao
