@@annanym5947 To deal with chlorosis you need to find the cause. It's not a disease it is caused by a deficiency. Most likely culprits to my understanding would be either soil that is to wet, water that is to hard, or a mineral deficiency in the soil iron for instance. You can check and see if you pots are to wet from rain, poor drainage, or watering and it is pretty easy to test the ph and hardness of your water. Poor whater quality will make it hard for your trees to uptake nutrients and minerals causing a deficiency even if you try to use supplements. What are you using as soil? Dose that help or am I stating the obvious?
@@beardedbonsai thanks for the detailed reply. i use a mixture of lava pumice and some sort of expanded clay. i know that its a deficiency and was thinking about treating it with epsom salt, to add that bonus magnesium. some people swear by it others think its not a good idea. do you have any experience with epsom salt? sure i should check my water but i have to use it anyway so im looking for an easy workaround
@@annanym5947Well a mix like that it shouldn't be to wet. I would test your water you may need to adjust at least the ph. If the problem isn't with to many trees you can mix up a batch with something like distilled vinegar to get a neutral ph. If there are no problems with the water then maybe you need some supplemental nutrition. Just my opinion if you have very hard water or water with a high ph adding minerals isn't realy going to help.
ok anyway what are your trees doing?
They are just sitting around soaking up the sunshine as they often do.
@@beardedbonsai nice mine too. but all my maples got chlorosis. what do you do to treat chlorosis?
