I make this recipe a lot. My family requests it for almost every get together. The crust always stays crunchy for me until it’s gone. The secret is spreading the cream cheese filling all the way out to every side of the pan so the jello mixture can’t get down to the pretzel layer. If you take the time to do this it makes every difference. I noticed on her pretzel salad that the bottom layer was red from the jello and it should be straight pretzel crunch crust. Also, I only use the mixer to get the sugar mixed into the cream cheese nicely and then fold in the whipped cream with a rubber spatula. Anytime I’ve ever just used a mixer the layer is so soft and separates from the jello.

This is my go-to dessert when I need to bring something to a party. It's always a hit. Only thing I do differently - I refrigerate it after I put the cream cheese mixture on (while the Jello is partially congealing) Not sure if it even matters because it looks like yours turned out nice!

Make sure you spread the middle layer all the way out to the sides of the pan or your jello will seep down into your pretzel crust like hers did. I make this all the time for my family and they love it!!
I love this dessert Sara sounds so good l think l will do mine with peaches or blueberrys They have a big sale of bags of frozen different fruits But l think i would of drain some of the juice off would it not make cake soggy?
